I like it, would take one of these any day for the right price! Having owned a couple JS 550's in the past, a couple things I'd recommend are an aftermarket head, or getting the stock one milled. Made a *huge* difference on my 550's. Next, lose the waterbox, and get a supertrapp (or something comparable) if they're still available for Skis. Might have to find something used. I had a supertrapp and loved it. Was a bit louder, and had to use the open cap (cover) to keep it from clogging with weeds, but that was no biggie.
@@traviswoodard3120 I had a js300 I never got running. I have also had a 650sx 2 superjets amd a fx1 I regret selling. I currently have a blaster 1 i ride that I want to but a 1100zxi in . I love the blaster alot but no sit-down is like a stand up in my opinion. I need another one soon
300 if great when proped. You can always slowly build a 550 reed motor and keep it on the shelf. If you ever blow the 300... You can slap the 550 in and try. Have fun with your 300. Just as quick as the 440 imo. I have a 440 and a modified 550. They're fun but my buddies 300 keeps up with my 440.
Thank you! It's a fun little ski. Once we actually get some warm weather I'll make more videos at the lake. I've never ridden a super chicken but they look like fun!
@@traviswoodard3120 I took it out for a test run. Needed the carb rebuilt and the steering fixed. I got the parts for it and a stainless impeller so I need to get it put back together.

I love those vintage skies
beautiful! never a waste if you enjoy it. i have a couple of classic pwcs that arent worth the money i have put into them but they are a great time
Thank you! I see it the same way you do. I built it for me and I'm happy with it.
Great looking ski. I'd take it over a new huge 3 seater couch any day of the week
Thank you! We also have a 900 zxi 2 seater, but that's for the family. I'm all about the stand up. I absolutely love riding it!

This is awesome:) I’m working on my js300 try to get all the ponies out of it:).
Great job! Looks awesome!
I love it. Nice work buddy
I like it! Super clean and cool to see the classic stuff still getting out on the water!
Thanks! I love the old school skis. I'm just waiting for the water to warm up here so I can rip on it again lol

I agree, this ski is a blast with the skat-trak impeller. Its probably going to stay a 300, I love it for what it is lol
Cool
Awesome ski
Thank you!
That's really cool. Always wanted to try a 300. Just picked up a Super Chicken to tinker with.

Love the vintage skis! Where do you find the front protection plate tho 🤔
The ski is beautiful but swap that 300 out asap !!!!!
Thank you! I plan to go bigger when I've had my fun with 300. A PJS 550 would look nice in it 😎
Where did you get pole spring plate? Nice ski!
You can always put a bigger motor in that nice hull
Thank you! She might become a 550 someday for sure. I got the spring plate on Ebay about a year ago. They were NOS that a guy was selling.
@@traviswoodard3120 never ever ever get a 550 😂 terrible engines with tons of head issues . 650 all the way !
@@Uberaroundtheworld530 yeah. Just go with a 650 or 750.
Where did you get that graphics kit? Looks so good!!
Hi Jeff! I got the graphics kit on Ebay a couple years ago. Just search PJS jetski and it should show up if it's still available.
Where did you get the graphics kit???
Ebay. It was a few years ago so if it's still on there just type in js300 pjs graphics kit.
@@traviswoodard3120 I'm having no luck but I'll keep looking. Thanks!
