I wish they revealed they made them affordable again.
I mean 500 is pretty reasonable actually. If they made them for 200 dollars they would be absolute crap.
@TheBadGuyMikeWerley 500 is not reasonable lol. All they do is stick a tablet inside and make an emulation machine. There is nothing that makes them 500 dollars worth. 350 or 300 is reasonable but 500 is kinda meh
@@ghostlegit you're never going to see them for 300-350. Unless it's 2nd hand or clearance. Considering these things sell for 6-700 some times 4-500 is a fair price for them. One which most people feel comfortable with.
Remove online functionality, all of the extras like signs and stools, possibly remove the lighted marquee, keep the riser which I assume is cheaper for shipping, then they can be back to $350-400. Basically, go back to the cheap wal-mart versions. In reality, they know that if they spend an extra $50 on those things, they can raise the price $200.
They will tell you they are affordable. Things are only going up from here. Sux, but is reality.
I guess their reason for the re-releases is “let’s make it look exactly like the original cabinet” which I wish they would’ve done in the beginning
They better nail the Waco leaf joystick feel then.
Idk miss pac man seems necessary
@@DefyantFoxV2 It's likely a minor update to correct the credits so that GCC and AtGames are properly credited. The previous versions credited Bandai Namco, which is no longer correct.
I want a Daytona USA one. Would just need to find a place for it...
I think maybe if they do SNK games Neo Geo arcade cabinets, that would probably pick people's interests as well.
There's already a Neo Geo cabinet on the market and it's better than most of the Arcade 1 Up machines.
why would SNK do that? they can and have already made one of these themselves. its quite nice actually. the MSX
@@Not-Great-at-Gaming i reaaally want to buy that too. i need a price drop right now in life :( but im gonna get one soon. MX puts out some cool cabinets
get the MSX. It comes with 50 games. Arcade1up would never do that
Neo Geo would certainly peak my interest.
I just want Arcade rereleases of Time Crisis 2-3 and especially Star Wars Trilogy Arcade (1998). Those are the arcade games that would make me spend $500-600 dollars on an arcade cabinet.
They really should do these arcade games.
Thhhhank You!🙏
Berzerk, Robotron, Gyruss, Moon Patrol, and Black Tiger would be cool. Not to mention many other great arcades.
Gyruss ftw
Rastan Please !
Donkey Kong is what I want but I know Nintendo would NEVER allow it
The slot machine is the only thing that pushes them further, but that will be a very small market of people that want it. In regards to The Simpsons I got mine for $300 and they fixed the audio synching issues. I also soft modded it and put TMNT and Turtles in Time on it making it a GREAT cabinet.
I know some older people that would probably enjoy the casino machine. But... I'm not sure they are the kind of people that buy Arcade1Up machines.
The ability to soft mod is was a major part of why I bought it. I've got a long USB extension cable that I can access from outside of the cabine, which makes it easy to do anything that I would need to plug a USB drive in for. Well worth the investment, especially if you're going to be doing something crazy like taking the Turtles games from that collection from last year and running it on the arcade1up cabinet.
@@ressljs I suspect that the cost of doing it is marginal and they'll have to sell only a fraction of the cabinets that they would for licensed property to turn a profit.
I do like the casino idea. This might be their new thing where we see a slew of casino machines maybe even slot machines
Hey RGT, love watching your videos! As I agree with the frustrations as a continued buyer of these cabinets I'm probably the small majority that has never bought a cabinet. That being said I have been waiting for a taller riser-less cabinet that looks more like the original so for me I'm excited to buy the Ms. Pac-Man to start some of the deluxe collection. For a new user I think this is nice to see Arcade1Up do this. Just my opinion.
Been watching the channel for years, same goes with the Spawncast every weekend. Incredible watching your channel and content continue to grow! You the man, RGT.
I’ve loved them both since high school still to this day
I've been watching him for years too! But usually not on UA-cam. I usually just watch him from his window...
@@JaredConnell 🤡🔪
A1up always drops the evergreen arcades at CES and the more interesting ones later in the year. It's great to finally see the riser-less arcades and can't wait for a Star Wars Atari re-release down the road. Also...I waited for years to buy one since i despise the risers...so I'm looking at you Class of 81 👀
I hope they do a riser-less Golden Axe machine.
I like the risers personally & they definitely provided a sturdier footprint on these lightweight cabinets.
Arcade 1ups are just too cheaply made to justify their prices.
How about an arcade 1-up of the Time Crisis games???
Time Crisis is confirmed
They probably don't have any new licenses
Glad to see you called out the online functionality of the new cabinets. Unfortunately, they've added this feature which costs them a few bucks and used it as leverage to raise prices by a lot more and re-release the same cabinets. I am one of the people who wants QBert, but I won't buy it for $500 or higher. I don't care about online leaderboards, riserless design, etc.
“A few bucks”
Same,
They seem to be making these Kades for the OG 1970's early 80's arcade heads who are like in there 70's and about to retire.
My grandpa was fire at MS Pac-man
But I would also like to see stuff from the golden era of arcades the 90's. I want #Tekken, #samuraishowdown, #outrun or for F-sake #poleposition, #digdoug #joustl. Is it to much to ask to get #contra.
Some of these 1 Up machines become really expensive on the second hand market (looking at that Outrun cabinet released a while back; didn't have disposable income when it came out), I don't see a problem with an updated re-release of some of those cabinets.
Same here. I bet the reality is 1up is near max capacity on its manufacturing abilities. Investing tons of money to expand so they can make even more models at a time when the economy is tanking isn't a good bet.
I wish they’d do CarnEvil. I’d make room for that one.
That was a good one!👍
@@hectormontalvo5565 I always get at least one play through when I go to this barcade in SLC. It’s like $20 to get through it.
@@OldNick999-real1 wow but I bet you have a fun time!😜
Marble Madness would be pretty sweet to be remade like this. That would be a cool cab. The arcade battle toads would probably be a nice surprise too. Seriously, there's an arcade version that's not like all the other battle toad ports that's awesome.
Mm would be awesome. Love that game.. never beat it
@@thinds5271 I've only seen it played on arcade. It's got an actual ball you spin around instead of a joystick. I played the NES one alot but I always wanted to try out the arcade one.
@@legatomodi3522 OH huh, cool didn't know about the trackball. Marble Madness was my favorite on Midway Arcade Treasures Extended on PSP. It's also on Xbox360's Midway Arcade Origins lol
Battletoads Arcade is already included in Killer Instinct Arcade 1Up.
Off Road 4 player wheels
We bought our youngest son the A1UP TMNT for Christmas of 2019. He was ecstatic and played it for about 2 months with his siblings or when his friends came over. He sold in 2021, rook the funds and combined it with his Ninetendo Switch trade-in and bought a Switch OLED. We did the math and realized that for the cost of 4 A1UPs at today's prices, and I could buy a Dreamarcade with 200 licensed games from Williams, Midway, Taito and Capcom.
Where's Popeye???(original arcade) I'd buy that bad boy up, that's the one we need...lol😉
i think Nintendo made that and your never going to see Nintendo make arcade1up cabinets anytime soon
@@THEGREYGH0ST so Ms.Pac-Man, and that dirty girls been around everywhere... lol 😂
Or Donkey Kong for sure...
I would never spend a dime on Arcade1up.
Spot on analysis RGT85!
I do love the new no riser taller cabinet look/function though.
I always thought having that board game screen be great for RTS games and make it feel like a military commander that is controlling the army and if it was big enough for 2 players. Starcraft or total war would be neat
I only want them to re-release the X-Men vs Street Fighter cab as I missed out on it the first time round. MVC is one of my favourite fighting games of all time and the games in that cab are amazing. But I'm so uninspired by the new additions so don't blame you for backing away from buying them
The best thing this company could do is listen to their customer base and provide polls. This then identifies the customer's desire.
I don't have the money or space for an Arcade 1up but, if I did (just hypothetically), the one game I'd consider buying an Arcade 1up for is OutRun 2 though it would have to have the Ferrari license and contain both OutRun 2 and OutRun 2 SP and probably also OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast even if that one was a console game (and, if they were paying to license from Sega and Ferrari anyway, F355 Challenge should probably also be in there as a bonus game).
I’m moving into a bigger place this year and this is the first time I’m thinking about actually buying a 1up. The 81 in 1 seems interesting to me.
You got to have the big recognizable names for casual consumers, and for retailers to be interested.
And Pac man is evergreen making them money year after year.
I almost bought that capcom machine with Strider, don't really have the space though.
Virtual On and Crazy taxi would be a dream sega machine.
I want a Williams cab with Robotron and Defender at a minimum. I would also take a cab devoted to the vector graphic games like QIX, Battle Zone etc...
Agreed 100% I want more variety as well. Wishing for more racers! They could come out with Roadblasters! I would buy it! Make a House of the Dead trilogy multicade? Something different. Different in a GOOD way! Great video!
I think an arcade 1up naomi cabinet with virtua fighter 2 virtua striker 2 virtua tennis 2 & virtua nba would have been a blast
Likewise: I love the countercades (i got limited space in my basement) and purchased the original Pacman and Mrs Pacman, and got really excited when Defender came out! I've been browsing their site monthly ever since and was ready to buy the next new thing but kept seeing pacman over and over again. I'm seriously looking at modifying one of them countercades or even a cabinet for a better joystick, more buttons and maybe trackball and have the cpu swapped for a RasPi with retro emulator. That'll be it for me, unless they surprise me with something new.
I like the size of the 1ups. I have a Buck Hunter, Golden Tee, modded Street Fighter, and getting ready to mod Ridge Racer (I'll get Daytona the hard way I guess). I always wait until the cabs drop a couple hundred before I purchase. This latest announcement is not exciting to me.
I have a few of arcade 1up’s cabs. The only one left I really want is Daytona USA. So much nostalgia.
Bummer!! Yeah, doesn't sound amazing, but I have been enjoying my Arcade1up. Paid $200 for the Simpsons Arcade on clearance at Walmart. So pleased with that purchase. That's my price point lol
Going to mod it with some other 2 button and stick arcade games eventually. Will be a permanent fixture in my gameroom :)
I would absolutely love a Battletoads cabinet, it was so fun playing with other people at the arcade back in the day.
Battletoads is on the Killer Instinct cab.
It's not so bad. Not every interested person necessarily bought one already. Now they don't have to pay high aftermarket prices.
They are trying to gain a new audience. As for the Riserless....i think you have riser envy. I mean your arcade1up machines look silly with out their risers. If one machine did have a riser get a milk crate or a crate from Michaels. These riserless cabinets are more astatically accurate to the original. And people like me who never got the star wars or ms pacman cabinet and are not willing to pay $1000 on eBay for it can get it at a reasonable price.
These machines always just felt a bit too small and cheap for my liking.
The sell because the novelty is an arcade in your home, but they dont feel like your playing an arcade, they feel like your playing a cheap chinese knock off
What killed it for me was when Arcade1up announced Killer Instinct.. I pre-ordered. The day of pre-ordering. My pre-order was nowhere to be found, and they had the AUDACITY to announce a KI premium version which was over $1k!! It's like I knew A1up as being affordable, but that alone shattered my love for them. You said it best RGT, they NEED a dose of reality. It sucks!
10 years ago my friend had KI running on a 72 inch HD TV. I think I’ll go that route. It’s MUCH cheaper
I'd like to see the wrestling games, the avengers, samurai warriors, Spiderman the arcade game. Games like that would be awesome to have.
Preach my guy Preach, and no your not wrong for what your saying.
Since Arcade 1up wants to remake machines now, why don't they go back and remake the DIM MAK SF cabinet (or even Mini Cabinet) that's been sold out for so long.
Keep up the good Content Bro....
#CreamOfTheCrop!!!!!
As we are quite new to the hobby we are really excited to have a chance to buy Ms. Pac-Man - Hopefully it comes to the UK! But I would love to see games like Jurassic Park and Point Blank! Maybe one day!
I gave up on that company a long time ago. Crossing my fingers constantly for new cabinets especially at an affordable price? Youre better off going with a different company like Gameroomsolutions or other kinds, and making your own. I now have a 2P arcade themed like turtles in time with 1600 games, and my Area 51 themed shooter cade with almost 100 light gun games on it including HOTD1-4 and Scarlet Dawn.
At the beginning of the year they seem to do the legacy cabinets/ re-releases of cabs they know will sell. Even with this being the case iam definitely burned out with seeing cabs I just bought be redone a year later. There only so many times I can upgrade my MK, Pacman and Ms.Pacman before I just decide iam done. That's where iam kind of at right now. Might be done
One day I'll get one and mod it
Great video RGT, I've watched you for years, I now have my own Arcade1up channel and cover everything you just covered twice a week lol.
The entire concept of why these arcades had any success is because they were cheap options for an arcade experience with quality in mind. As these get more expensive the average person will completely write off the entire thought of owning any like me. $300 was a great fair price. $700 & up they can screw off.
I’d personally love to see a TEKKEN Tag Team arcade , and a SILENT SCOPE arcade. Best games ever
Agreed. Tekken & Soul Edge Blade Caliber series need to become Arcade 1up machines.
This is why I won't to drift shops and made one out of a flat table still good arcad hd retro n can cang it to super computer x just setting up the butenes put me off ☺️
If there are requests for cabinets that have been previously released, but are no longer in production, it makes total business sense for them to make more. Time will tell if they sell well. I doubt they'd just re-release things no one is asking for.
I can go to Walmart and best buy and find all those machines they're re-releasing right now. There is no demand for them. They've already been sold to the people who want them.
@@adams521 while I believe you 100 percent, I can't see them doing them again if there is no demand.
Ms Pac man arcade 1up is all you need, even today the game is still god tier.
Ok let's make some corrections here
1. SEGA isn't that into licensing out a lot of their IP's now, it just is what it is, they gave outrun (which while popular, isn't the first game you think of when you think of their arcades) but they are holding the really big IP's close to their chest, for now. I would see this change as SEGA stops making mini's. I've read in Japan news media that they may in fact be making their own "arcade 1up like " cabs. so if they don't, they may just license it all out.
2. EVERYONE releases product early now, its the way of the world...they do it to get the MVP out and then do updates, I can't think of a game in the last 10 years that hasn't done this...while i'm not a fan, i don't see it changing anytime soon. so you gotta deal with it.
3. for the price, you are still getting something that is at LEAST 500.00 or more cheaper than owning the actual arcade game...and as the retro craze continues...arcade machines will even be MORE expensive (EX: Midways Mortal Komat 3 arcade was 800.00 in 2017, you can't touch these now for less than 1500).
4. They didn't make the big machines at launch because of costs , at the time, it wasn't cost effective for a new company (new to this genre) to do that ANNND, there was no demand for it, but now, costs are cheaper and there is a huge demand for full size.
5. The average person...DOESN'T already have an Arcade 1up. Mostly collectors of retro games buy these, there's some cross over but its no where near the coverage they want. No company is going to reissue something if the market is already saturated or a majority of the market has one. These bigger machines and the slot machine will open up a new market for them, which is what the company needs if you wanna eventually see all the games you want.
You talk out of both sides of your mouth and sound like a whiney little girl.
Kinda sounds like you are whining about his opinions.
Cough... Shill.. Cough
Thanks for the shout out on FB for my RGT sign at AEW last night!
I actually agree I don't want to see Virtual Fighter though or Daytona but I want to see better games not stuff that's already just terrible even my kids don't want to play and The Simpsons one that was just awful I was excited until I started playing it thank God I got a little bit of a discount but it was ridiculous and some of the parts was missing like my stool was missing and my metal plate I was really disappointed and Target didn't want to give me the money back for that they told me I can bring it back after I reassembled it the disassemble it would have been pissing me off that's too much time and too much energy I would like to see Alien versus Predator the arcade version and WrestleMania on there how about bringing those out that's the only two I'm looking for the even purchase anything else I'm not going to even bother I'm not even getting Blitz and I like Blitz
I almost bought the ninja turtles arcade one on Facebook marketplace
Skip to 3:37 to get to the point.
$500 for a game that you can play anywhere... I get their hustle. But do games that are hard to get like "Power Stones" I would buy that 1up
We need more old games to be more easily available through legal means and Arcade1up were experts at this! I can play games like Pac Man, Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat on ALMOST ANYTHING! What I want is stuff like Turtles, The Simpsons, X-Men, stuff that has NOT gotten so many legal rereleases!
If I were Arcade1up, my 2023 lineup would look more like THIS:
Daytona USA - includes Daytona USA, Daytona USA 2, Indy 500, maybe also the Saturn's Daytona USA CCE
The Simpsons Couchcade - same as the standalone cabinet but with better emulation, Bowling preinstalled and the ability to link 2 Couchcades together for 4 player
Sonic 3 & Knuckles - Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic Championship and Sonic 3 & Knuckles, both Sonic 3s having the Michael Jackson music restored
Point Blank - Point Blank 1, 2 and 3, possible also Ghoul Panic
Ninja Baseball Bat Man - Ninja Baseball Bat Man and some other Irem games, R-Type 1 and 2 would be very likely additions
Time Crisis would be cool too, but I agree with your 3 games. Crazy Taxi would maybe be the only one I'd buy at full retail, and I've bought 3 discounted pretty heavily. I want The Offspring playing in my living room, but they'd need better speakers with that or Daytona!
If Crazy Taxi were to be rereleased, it's most likely going to get the PS3/XB360 Soundtrack or yet another Soundtrack of lesser known Indie Rock Bands.
I really want the MvC2 and X-Men Arcade cabinet, but they are way too expensive right now.
If my mom were alive, she would have LOVED the Wheel of Fortune slot machine cabinet. She loved playing slots and would always buy slot games at the $5 cheapo PC games rack at Walmart.
1000% agree. As someone with disposable income who’s purchased and sold 15 of these; I agree that they’re dipping into the well a little too much and have gotten lazy. I’ve been suckered enough times to upgrade my legacy cabs for small incremental improvements and I just won’t continue falling for the same trick. MVC2 was the crown jewel for me and I’m content with my remaining 5 cabs with around 40 or so games. I like the idea of the casino games but they need significantly more new licenses instead of rehashing the same old stuff. How about a Konami legacy cab with Contra, Super C, Gradius, Lifeforce and CastleVania among other classics? how about a 4 player legacy cab with X-Men, Simpsons, Turtles, Sunset Riders and Mystic Warriors? How about Street Fighter Alpha series or SF3 cab? There’s more competition for what’s already an extremely niche market so they better evolve and diversify otherwise they’ll be out of biz soon. Just look at all the markdowns….
Seems like they are treating these things like phones - and now different versions of the same thing released at the same time. I'd love to have the MK cabinet, but the reviews just haven't been good enough for me to empty my wallet - things like the marquee blocking people's sight line of the screen. I don't get how they can overlook things like that.
I waited on the Simpsons and paid $250 for it around Christmas. It came with a stool and metal sign. Good deal. Now I know to wait for everything and build it out slowly.
I got a mini mortal Kombat 2 cabinet from arcade 1up. Small scale perfect. They were the Sega Genesis roms not the arcade. What's the point in putting them in a cabinet style. Returned that fast.
The thing that made me not like 1Up cabs is they weren't similar to how they were in reality. The fact they are now replicating how they really looked, makes me want to start collecting them. This is a plus for me.
Lol I’m digging the almost full
Sized cabs! That ms Pac-Man looks dope!
He's agreeing with you that they look dope, but for most Arcade1Up fans, who's going to buy yet another Pac-Man cabinet just becuase it looks a little different? I mean, there are 14 different partycade/countercade versions, 3 different cocktail cabinets, and I lost track of how many actual Pac-Man cabinets they have made.
@@MrBluesMessiah totally bogus for day one 1up enthusiasts.. had they gone with the tall cabs from the beginning I’d have a couple of those already sitting in my game room ..
Honestly I think I paid full price for one of these, and it was the BurgerTime one. I have 6 of them now, and all of the other ones I got on clearance for between 100-300 bucks. The Simpsons one I snagged for 300 at BestBuy, and they've had tons of the higher end ones on sale too like the T2 one. I don't have any space or money right now, so I'm sticking with the few I have. If anyone really wants these, I implore you to wait for a sale, since retailers hate these things, because they are a complete pain to stock, so they drop the prices quickly to get rid of them.
Yup. Sign up for the deal of the day email from Best Buy. I've seen The Simpsons with stool go for as low as $250.
Your dad plays Jai alai? That's dope
My dad used to bring me to bet on that, the balls go so fast it's awesome to watch
To be fair I’m ok with them re releasing Star Wars atari o missed out on it and would love to get it
I wish arcade 1up realize "ninja turtles pinball machine", "house of the dead", "Capcom vs SNK 2", "King of fighters 98 ultimate Match", also arcade 1up should realize a "JU on the grudge horror game arcade"
The Ms. Pac-man and Galaga combo one is designed after the Ms. Pac-man Galaga Class of 81 cabinet released in 2001. There's one at a local pizza parlor near me.]
Fun fact, on the game select screen on the actual Ms. Pac-man Galaga Class of 81 machine, press up, up, up, down, down, down, left, right, left, right, left. You will then hear a ding ding ding sound if done correctly. Press one of the Ms. Pac-man buttons and you're playing Pac-man.
RGT85 a fan of _DONUT MEDIA_ . Nice!!!
If I can ever afford to do so I’ll have a basement with real hardware. My dream are the followings…
Daytona USA, Crazy Taxi, Smashing Drive, House of the Dead 3, Hydro Thunder, Dragons Lair, Sega Rally and a cabinet with all the Mortal Kombats.
I agree. I only own 1 arcade1up (T2) n bought it SOLELY because it had one game and one game only, the one u see on the cab. As it was in the arcade days. As it was meant to be. I would love "pro" guns (since they can detatch) to buy separately but other than that. It gave me that nostalgic experience I was looking for.
Would love to see (in this order) revolution X, area 51, maximum impact, house of the dead (love arcade rail shooters lol) and any Virtua cop. Wouldn't mind virtua fighter either.
If they make more light gun cabs tho, with just better qaulity guns (the T2 ones aren't HORRIBLE but Def "cheap" feeling) I'd buy more all day!
I think Revolution X would be an e z one to do. It's like T2, from midway etc, maybe only issue would be the Aerosmith license rights? Idk but if they made that cab, with 3 guns (like the original cab had) n did like t2 (only that game and maybe a behind the scenes) I'd buy it all day.
They also made a KI (killer instinct) pro model? Idk much about it but it looks like it has better speakers. So maybe a pro model (since Aerosmith) for Revolution X. 3 strong durable guns, great speakers, man that would be one sweet ride!
You don’t like having more games on one cabinet? 😅
I modified my Street Fighter arcade1up. It’s got over 2,000 games. Saves on space for me. I really want a tekken arcade cab now.
I figured they would've came out with a Double Dragon Trilogy with Renegade cab by now. They could also do the III series of Street Fighter and Alpha series. But the prices have gotten way out of control. I wonder what they'd sell for.
@hitmeuprgt85_1 🙄
Man if they did Daytona I would buy two of them if they made it work that way
I overall agree, while I do like the proper slant on the monitors on the new Pacman\Ms. Pacman cabinets I cannot justify buying Pacman and Ms. Pacman yet again when the cabinets I got are fine.
I’d have more interested had they created a Deal or No Deal arcade game...love playing that for tickets at D&B.
I’m so pissed. The Aussie grocery chain Aldi sold the street Fighter 2 cabinets for about about $250…now you can get one for about $900
I love my simpsons cabinet. When I got it for $200 with a stylish riser makes it even better .
Completely agree! Understanding licesing titles is difficult and costly, but the lack of new will start to stale the market and reduce new customer base. They are also losing some of their modding community through their cabinet designs. The redesign with control panel being encompassed inside the cabinet sides may have lost some of their niche market of modding enthusiests as well.
This isn’t the lineup for 2023. They’re a few redesigns of existing cabs they’re putting out. They do this annually around CES, I’m pretty sure you’re aware of this. Later in the year they almost always announce other cabinets/products.
Am I the only one thatbsaw the Rgt sign at Aew Dynamite last night?
A Defender / Stargate cab with the correct single player button layout please. That would be a home run. TAKE MY MONEY
The best thing they did was that MVC2 cabinet, except for the price. Now we are getting single game cabs for the price of a multicab mame one.
Ya...... I love arcades. My uncle bought this custom 5000 cabinet that plays everything. Its pretty dope. And yes he has the at homea pinball too
Waiting for the Rush cabinet for racing and would love to see them release a full metal cabinet or better quality wood cabinet update.
I really hate that I bought the Marvel vs Capcom 2 1up Arcade thinking that I was going to get a premium product but but the online was not working on that game and major slow downs so the main selling features are not working it made me so upset.
Konami ( I feel we) would love a Silent Scope series arcade machine
Agree with your choices as well RGT
Would love to see Scudd Race get added onto a racing caninet
My Wal-Mart right now has The Simpson's 1up Arcade cabinet right now for $150 brand new and unopened. I'm thinking about getting it
I pooped today! Thanks for being the video I watched during!
8:04 I love the Sega Star Wars ‘90s arcade games, but Atari’s 1983 Star Wars arcade game is awesome too.
You're not wrong about releasing new titles but you're thinking like a collector and not a corporation. They know re-releasing legendary titles like Pac-Man will sell more than branching out with new titles. And the new cabinet is how it should've always been like you mentioned in the video. I'm actually kind of hoping they re- release Star Wars in the new cabinet. I missed it the first time around and now they are crazy expensive
I'd like to see a Primal Rage cabinet :)
The problem with Primal Rage is the source code is so indecipherable that not even the developers themselves can crack it.
@@michaelfields7088 Oh :(
At least they're finally making the cabinets look right, like they should've from the beginning. But yeah, they need to start trying to get more licensures. I guess they're trying to milk their existing licenses for everything they can, while they can, before the licenses expire. It does get old, seeing the same list of games on multiple cabinets, though. The casino cabinet looked interesting until I learned how tiny the displays were. I'd love to see some newer material, too.
Arcade1Up was supposed to release joysticks with built in Disney games and it never came out, there was a Mickey Mania one and a DuckTales one with NES, SNES and Game Boy Advance Disney games
You mentioned how the sound is subpar, it got me thinking... what if they used some of the empty cabinet space to house TOP-NOTCH speakers, to where it's almost like, you're really buying fantastic speakers that happen to have a videogame wrapped around them. I mean it sounds a little weird but i think it'd be a cool look and it'd help justify the footprint of these things.
If I had the money I'd definitely buy the Ms pacman galaga because I loved playing that game at the arcade as a kid
when can we get a game room tour?
