If you're telling me Herbert isn't a good qb, you don't know the problem with Chargers. The problem was their coaching, Herbert balling every weekend and always playing catching up. Their defense has been terrible due to the coaching.

I don’t think it’s crazy to say Herbert is more talented than Andrew Luck matter. The only reason Herbert wasn’t seen as the number 1 prospect was because of the coaching staff at Oregon. Luck had Harbaugh in college to coach him.
As an honest Chargers fan I will agree Andrew Luck is a bridge too far but Herbert is certainly better than everyone else Harbaugh coached...

I believe Herbert is like a Matthew Stafford. Failing organization and can't win anything but a ton of talent. Then gets traded to LA with a mastermind HC like McVay and wins it all his first year. 2020: Defense ranked 23, Offensive Line ranked 32 (last place)
*Also year he broke all rookie records.
2021: Defense ranked 30th (almost last), Offensive line ranked 10th
2022: Defense ranked 21st, O line ranked 12th
2023: Defense ranked 28th (almost last), offensive line ranked 9th.
These quarterbacks he’s comparing them to have top 5 teams in this category. Add context Acho use your brain it’s football a TEAM sport. Chargers have had the worse defense and coaches and Herbert still is able to keep them afloat. We all saw what happened when Herbert didn’t play in that Raider game. This dude was just wrong about all his takes on Herbert and is still looking for any reason to justify it.
It’s crazy how acho named all those QB’s at college who won a national championship but doesn’t mention the talent around them, at best Oregon had a 4 star RB not a single 5 star WR but also Alabama and LSU have had a foundation better than Oregon at recruiting for years also Herbert’s senior year Oregon won the PAC12 title for the first time in 5 years and the Rose Bowl for the first time since we went to the playoffs

I challenge anyone who things any NFL player sucks to go watch film. Watch three and outs and pause and watch what went wrong. Is that just me? Remember how hard the praised Jalen Hurts especially Shady when the Eagles was 10-1? They all put Jalen as least the same tier with Herbert(maybe above Herbert even) whenever they talked about "Elite" qbs. Poor Jalen🤣🤣🤣

Sorry but Jalen is nowhere near top 10. The guy has every weapon at his disposal and does very minimal. Eagle fans, and a certain group want to push him up the ranks but it's utterly ridiculous... Look at the weapons Tua and Jalen have... 100x better then Justin, and it's not close.

Nick wright, a chiefs guy has stood on that Herbert is an A- coach. Acho is just blowing smoke. Even good players need good coaches. Brady/belichick, Mahomes/reid, montana, walsh. Give those guys Staley as his HC and see how different they are as players.
