Great tutorial! I have a few questions: can I use XLR connector for Line Level signals? Or is it only for mics? In case it is possible, will it bypass the preamp? I would like to do this to have all the i/o routed to a patchbay and use them as Line/Mic as needed without changing cables
I use the Discrete 4 and i'm looking at adding 8 more inputs via the ADAT but i'm wondering if there's any way to get those new input channels at 96khz.
Congrats on the new gig. (as I just found out you are with AA now). Quick question, if I want to expand my Orion Studio Synergy Core I/O count by connection my Orion Studio HD via ADAT, do I also have to use the WorldClock BNC to link them, or does the ADAT already link the World Clock?

I plan getting the Discrete 4 and using it both as slave and master with ADAT-S/PDIF only devices.
thanks for the video.i've been trying for the longest time to get my thunderbolt connection working on my goliath hd 2nd gen.i'm not sure whether it's a software or hardware problem.it's very difficult to get support to help out.i think i saw you using one before.can you help ?currently using mac os mojave still.i also tried 2 separate TB cables(new).are you using the latest firmware and launcher?Thanks
please i have personal moniter mixer and i do not have direct out . i have only insert please i need to know if i am using DB25 how to change to the insert to be direct out by using DB 25

I've been going crazy for days trying to send the click on the headphones to the drummer to play live sequences, I have synergy core 4 interface and I use logic pro x. I have a mono audio click for example on logic track 3, I select output 3 I put the headphones on the analogue outputs and nothing is heard !!!! I have tried them all, I'm not very practical, surely I'm doing something wrong, could you make a video about it or please give me an explanation here on the comments too?
How fast of a Thunderbolt 3 cable do I need to take full advantage of the Orion Studio Synergy Core's data transfer rate?
You need a 20 gigabit cable in theory, but i would just get a thunderbolt 2 certified cable.
One question: I don't understand the input section on the Orion Studio SC. It has 16 outs but only 12 ins. How do I get the other 4 back into the unit? Maybe a stupid question, but I don't get it 😂
