The fact that Chipz had the opportunity to remake Hard Hitting Grooves but ultimately turned it down because he felt he couldn’t do it justice shows just how much of a class act he really is. Not every Hollywood hit needs a cash grab remake and we need more honest directors like him to put an end to the madness!
I seriously have been thinking this for the longest time, Tim needs to see some of Rocco's stuff, I'd love him to show up as a character that collects the most bizarre film merchandise, but never actually watches any movies.
It's always great to see prestigious directors like Steven Chipz put a spotlight on physical media and its importance. I'm a big fan of his earlier indie work, and now I'm hearing he's the frontrunner to direct the next Jurassic World? My man Chipz is really coming up in the world!
Steven Chipz Film Pics: Alien 3000 Pizza Man Bingo P.I. Blues Sweet Potato Pie Streets of Pain The NFL's Hard Hitting Grooves Firehouse Dog Hot Milk Aviator Humor Vol 1 Dog Sitter Los Asesinos Ski Porn! Honorable Mentions: WWE Royal Rumble 2001
I’m going to have to push back on Steven’s mention of the first use of doggie cam. 1989’s Doggie Adventure from the studio Made-For-Dog Videos, Inc. was the pioneer in this filming technique. I still applaud you shining the light on this lost art of cinematography.
This video finally proves to me that I could listen to Rocco spout complete nonsensical aimless rambling and it'll still be soothing to my brain for whatever reason. Rocco should do audio books.
On this series, I always skip to the end, write down the list, watch every movie on that list, then return to the video. I love widening my perspective, and these videos are just perfect for that. Thanks Steven for the picks!
Chipz is visionary. It's amazing to see the influences that he built into in cinematic lexicon. As they say "creators create, but true master steals". I love the work you guys do in preserving this legacy. Chipz being able to confess these influences in his own words is just powerful to see.
1 hour of perfect comedy improv. A great dose of great absurdist humour that's long form. Sometimes comedy seems to be reducing to shorter and just punchline stuff.
tbh I always thought Chipz fell off after Bean Boyz 3: Mean Bean Team, but after watching this I'm definitely willing to admit that he has great taste in film.
You name dropping Rod Machado fucking fried my brain. I listened to some of his checkride prep guides during my flight training, and I never thought I'd ever hear his name in any other context.
Another commendable fact regarding Bingo is every single canine was humanely executed after filming wrapped up rather than dying from dehydration or neglect as they would have on a Disney dog production
Dog Sitter is amoung my favourites here, but I really don't understand why they included so many hours of the dog drastically begging for food and water. Great picks steve!
Been saying I wanted to see Steven Chipz on this since it started. Glad it finally happened. Sure they're the same picks as every other guest, but when Chipz picks them, it just hits different. You can tell he really respects the art and isn't just picking out the greats to look smart. He genuinely gets them. Also I've always loved Chipz's humility whenever I've seen him talking. The lack of ego is inspiring. He really is a national treasure. Amazing words 25:24
This is insane, never expected such a super power to get to look at the Ceiling Fan Entertainment vault 😱 Steven! This is a call out to you: do you think you could get behind the scenes with Shirt Tag Motion pictures? I know it's a Longshot, but they have to have a breathtaking backlog of epic proportions.
I've spoken with my insider sources. I can confirm here today that this is ACTUALLY Hideo Kojima in a white American suit. This is actually Death Stranding 3.
Went to college with Skip Questionmark and man.. let me tell you, hardest and most driven guy you'll ever meet. He dropped out, but man... so talented.
Surprised Steven Chipz is making a public appearance so soon after showing up on epstein's flight logs. Used to love his movies but now I cant go back and watch em without a horrid taste in my mouth. Despiciable
the random whimsical laughing is really on point
Rocco is genuinely a good character actor.
The way he does Catholic Gaming Insider blows my mind. It's like a real person you'd see at church.
That's why Stephen Chipz gave him such key roles in Crisp Morning and Get The Scoop.
i'm already laughing just on the premise of the video
Same. Saw the notification on my phone and was so thrilled
This kind of video is why Mega64 is such a special comedy group. Nobody does anything even close to this and its so god damn funny
Rocco should be an On Cinema character.
I’ve been saying this for years. Tim needs to get Rocco on Office Hours as a bit character or something
He should play Gregg’s nephew or some shit
I seriously have been thinking this for the longest time, Tim needs to see some of Rocco's stuff, I'd love him to show up as a character that collects the most bizarre film merchandise, but never actually watches any movies.
oh my god someone needs to make this happen
@@DADVIDS (late but) T&E have been on mega64 at some point haha it could be possible
“The Cleveland Show… felt like being saved in all the ways you can be saved.” Breathtaking and so true, Mr. Chipz.

Who knew Shawn's blu ray collection was a master class of perfection.
Just by your username I knew your acc was more than 10 years old.
@@mega_manoy17 Pretty sure the picture is too. I need to make a new one...
Stephen Chipz got into the Criterion Closet before Walter Lens. Crazy.
there are so few cuts in this video, it's absolutely perfect
I love the idea of Rocco telling the guys “hey I’m going to be in the merch room for about 30 minutes, don’t come in”
I’m going to have to push back on Steven’s mention of the first use of doggie cam. 1989’s Doggie Adventure from the studio Made-For-Dog Videos, Inc. was the pioneer in this filming technique. I still applaud you shining the light on this lost art of cinematography.
the wow frame 1 got me
This is the type of video that only someone with a deep and expansive knowledge on film and cinema can make. Thank you, Steven. Thank you.
so cool to hear Steven Chipz speak for a good while after spending a majority of my life admiring his work
Legendary cinema pics from the Tubi vault
This video finally proves to me that I could listen to Rocco spout complete nonsensical aimless rambling and it'll still be soothing to my brain for whatever reason. Rocco should do audio books.

I can’t sleep and this is the perfect nightcap.
No AI will ever be good enough to imitate the youtubers that Rocco can emulate with ease. This is a work of art.
The exclusion of the ButterCream Gang was honestly jarring, considering your involvement.
This is brilliant. I feel like Rocco may be the only person with the right kind of comedic mind to make such a video.
Chipz is visionary. It's amazing to see the influences that he built into in cinematic lexicon. As they say "creators create, but true master steals". I love the work you guys do in preserving this legacy. Chipz being able to confess these influences in his own words is just powerful to see.
I'll never understand how Rocco can do all of this without ever breaking character
Halfway through I realized this was an extension of the fucking camel bit
Steven Chipz defined my reality
1 hour of perfect comedy improv. A great dose of great absurdist humour that's long form. Sometimes comedy seems to be reducing to shorter and just punchline stuff.
Yes. One hour.
U got this Steven, congratz 👊
This is the hardest I've laughed at a YT video in a while... wow. Wow, wow, wow, wow.
This is so, so good
Been waiting seven year for some quality chipz pickz
Perfectly replicates the Criterion closet videos. They need to get Kojima in here next.
Now this is kino. Thank you Steven 🙏
Someone at Amoeba records better be watching this. Maybe they’ll finally listen to all our comments and get Mr Chipz on the What’s In My Bag show.
tbh I always thought Chipz fell off after Bean Boyz 3: Mean Bean Team, but after watching this I'm definitely willing to admit that he has great taste in film.
You name dropping Rod Machado fucking fried my brain. I listened to some of his checkride prep guides during my flight training, and I never thought I'd ever hear his name in any other context.
This was honestly incredible
Despite his incredibly controversial films, Chipz is exactly the kind of director we need pushing the envelope.
Another commendable fact regarding Bingo is every single canine was humanely executed after filming wrapped up rather than dying from dehydration or neglect as they would have on a Disney dog production
It’s quite apropos that Mr. Chipz’s movie collection came in a wide variety of “flavors.”
Cool to see you finally made it to the Criterion closet 👍
The full screen format for Alien 3000 really makes that film shine, excellent first pick Steven Chipz.
Alternate universe, more put together Tyler Trickman. Kinda like a Majin Buu -> Uub type deal
Dog Sitter is amoung my favourites here, but I really don't understand why they included so many hours of the dog drastically begging for food and water. Great picks steve!
Great picks steven
I made a Letterboxd list for this.
Rocco when I saw this video was 30mins long I just wondered why you don't have more subs with this kind of long form content.
Great picks from Steven Chipz
Rocco is so nice in real life and that's why I think he is sooo good at pretending to be an asshole. 😅
Been saying I wanted to see Steven Chipz on this since it started. Glad it finally happened. Sure they're the same picks as every other guest, but when Chipz picks them, it just hits different. thank you for this eye opening video Benny Safdie Bott
Thanks for your time Steven...I'll see you at the Walmart back rooms this Friday to pick up your shift.
Special thanks to Jack Links Media? Did they encode this video? (apologies for all the comments, I'm just so enthralled by this)
He doesn't just do KORN covers dude stop asking
This is insane, never expected such a super power to get to look at the Ceiling Fan Entertainment vault 😱 Steven! Love this new format of movie club
Looking forward to Queer Eye: for the Grey Guy Alien cross over
we need Street Mealz on the Criterion Closet right now
always a pleasure to hear mr chipz talk
Need some more Chipz
13 minutes in before i realized the Walmart jacket, too entranced by his words and thrilling commentary on the films that made him who he is today
wow it’s my dream to visit the ceiling fan media closet, so jealous!!
Another great video from Amiibo Records
God I wish I could get one of those Unboxing Ring Blu-rays but I missed out when the preorder was live. Always love these character videos. ❤️
Honestly surprised Rug’s “house of cards” that is Ceiling Fan Media hasn’t fallen… I know what he has done. There will be a reckoning
#CleanTheCeilingFan
love the concept
So happy to hear someone call out the sexuality and bravery of Alien 3000
I'm glad to know the merch I ordered was taken by THE Steven Chipz- it's going to a better home I would have ever given it
good to get Chipz back
I've spoken with my insider sources. I can confirm here today that this is ACTUALLY Hideo Kojima in a white American suit.
This is actually Death Stranding 3.
Some sick picz from chipz
YO YO YO I think this dude worked on Scrunt!!!
I wonder what Mr. Chipz would have to say about the movie "Still waiting"?
Stephen looks a lot like Thomas. Must run in the family.
Will definitely be checking all these films out! 😄
Went to college with Skip Questionmark and man.. let me tell you, hardest and most driven guy you'll ever meet.
He dropped out, but man... so talented.
But I digress.
been waiting for this one
Getting the hankering to buy Mega64's Blu-Ray offerings, and for a bag of Chipz
For a moment I expected Steven's video be 30 minutes of reviewing all those mega 64 copies there
When can we expect the Mega64 criterion box set?
The picz have never been CLOSER
little bit of this, little bit of that
I hope Rocco actually gets to go to the Criterion Closet someday.
PITTSBURGH PIRATES MENTIONED THANK YOU
Rocco does not get the credit he deserves for his vids.
put ME in that closet with Chipz next time! I want a little word with him.
nobody does absurdist deadpan improv like rocco
It’s criminal Rocco hasn’t made it into a Seth Rogan movie yet
Surprised Steven Chipz is making a public appearance so soon after showing up on epstein's flight logs. Used to love his movies but now I cant go back and watch em without a horrid taste in my mouth. Despiciable
Transitioning from the food influencer era to ASMR
Where's the ButterCream 4K?
"Mr. Short Cop" almost broke Rocco.
Is this one of Bob Newhart's routines?
What a dream to get to visit the closet.
I live in chicago and dont even have a portillos beanie. wtf
here's a suggestion for Ceiling Fan Media to bring to the closet next time: an actual artist, someone who's worked with Tom Savini before
Wow.
Rocco wants to be on Best Of The Worst so badly
Long live physical media.
