Carnegie Hall is a once in a lifetime for any musical group. Our high school band performed there 5 years ago and parents (and grandparents) were welcome to go at choir prices. After our performance we went on a night boat trip around the Statue of Liberty and her waterway. I think we were a total of 5 nights in NYC. What an opportunity for the kids. One of my favorites is the choir competition where they were singing on the inside walkways of a very tall hotel as a bedtime exercise. Look for the Kentucky All State choir. They sing the national anthem every night at bedtime.
For my school’s Honor Choir, we took a 12 hour flight to NYC, and the captain wanted us to hear us sing. Mind you, I go to an all girl’s school, so we only have sopranos and altos. The first song was our director’s wedding song, so she made us put on our white dresses and walk down to the back of the plane.
I realize this is crazy for ppl who dont sing or aren't in choir or musical theatre. But as someone who was in choir, vocal, jazz, and musical theatre.... this was a normal thing. We'd spontaneously burst into song and dance anywhere and everywhere. And our choir teacher made us sing every chance he got, especially on the bus. I can only imagine if he managed to get us all on a plane hahaha. He'd prob get us to sing the Bosom of Abraham
Alphaboi 45 what he meant is seeing some high schoolers singing like that is just rare to see so yea, i agree with him that its a once in a lifetime shit that i will enjoy.
They have very beautiful voices and a great talent they must keep it up and may God bless them with grace for I never was able to use my voice like that even though I am good at singing and was in fifth grade choir when I was a little girl
And the guy in green starting at 4:47. Not only looks upset, but they could have blurred his face because he doesn't look like he wants to be on camera either.
That guy when the announcer said let’s make this song louder--he looked like he was disturbed by it---or trying to hide his face from the camera-like he was wanted by the cops or something.
I went to DC in 8th grade and performed at Carnegie Hall with my high school’s Chamber Choir too haha! If you’d like to hear some of our recordings just search San Juan Hills High School Choir. We are from the great state of California.
I love the total polarity of the people who, you can tell have spent a day and a half flying, arguing with people working airline, and they've just boarded their flight after it was delayed for the 78th time, and the people who were really into it. Good vid though :)
Absolutely amazing performance Plainfield North Choir! I'm sure you all did just as of an amazing job with your performance at Carnigie Hall in NYC too!
People pay good money to fly , not to be assailed by precocious brats , who think they are God’s Gift. They should have been told to shut up or get off: no consideration for others!
Me: Ahhhhh.....Now for some peace and quiet as I sleep on the plane. Woman next to me: Would you hold my crying baby? We're about to have choir practice.
Passengers for peace. That's a church choir or high school choir, or both. Never under estimate the power of prayer, music and peace in this world. My family has traveled extensively doing just this very thing.
Maybe it's me...maybe it's the emotional trauma I received as a teenager when final destination came out...but being on a plane with people belonging to a large group (choir, sports team, ect...) freaks me out 😬 plane crashes are dew and far between but if you look up the numer of large groups all dying in plane crashes is shockingly high...🤷🏻♀️😒
That one guy in the middle of all the singing kids...😂😂😂
3:51 that lady with the earphone was like " I'll listen to my own choice urgh"
When you sleep in the plain and wake up and hear this: okay the plain crashed am I death now?
😂😂😂😂😂😂💔
🤣🤣
🤣🤣 awesome
Plane......🤦♂️
@@bunkerking73 Thank you!
I am sure it sounded much better in person.
I can imagine being touched by this while flying!!
I was a part of the choir in the trip but not on that plane. The songs sounded 10x times better at Carnegie Hall. We all had a pretty good trip

Considering they can’t really hear each other since they are in a plane they did a great job!
Absolutely 🦋
they have a girl conducting them, that is one of the reasons they are able to do so
That's the school i will be going to, in 2 years
Noice bro
Thanks for watching!
What city is it in?
cool
lol april 15th 2020 23:12 wed

I sang this at all district last year and this choir did such a good job
Michelle Price thank you for watching!

You know what is said about The Voice…God’s first instrument
Why does stuff like this never happen on any of my flights?
❤
People can be so rude lol the people in the front looked so mad... you would think they would realize this is a once and a life time thing 😂😃😂🤣
Once in a lifetime? Ppl have paid for a silent flight, not for some 15 year olds to goo
HEEHAAAAAHEEE
....ok?
Alphaboi 45 what he meant is seeing some high schoolers singing like that is just rare to see so yea, i agree with him that its a once in a lifetime shit that i will enjoy.
@@nahyankamale9989 I agree
@@Ongaurdforthee9 plane travel isnt meant for quiet thats for trains the engines alone on a plane are annoying
some once in a lifetime opportunities just aren't worth it
Most exciting thing happens on my flights is an occasuonal drunk guy. Geez! Beautiful
Cynthia Broyles haha
Well done!!! I hope your Carnegie Hall experience was everything you thought it would be. I wish you well.
They sing just like angels 🙏😇❤️
Not as well put together as the cast of the lion king singing on the airplane but not bad
I saw that and I loved it
They didn’t have the full choir with them...
Haha! Thanks for watching!
Agree
Really, you nailed them for not being professionally trained, Broadway quality?
They have very beautiful voices and a great talent they must keep it up and may God bless them with grace for I never was able to use my voice like that even though I am good at singing and was in fifth grade choir when I was a little girl
Awesome, beautifully achieved. Bravo 💖👏💖👏💖👏💖👏💖👏💖
That poor guy at 3:30 was wishing for a quiet plane ride. You can see the hope fading in his eyes 😂😂
And the guy in green starting at 4:47. Not only looks upset, but they could have blurred his face because he doesn't look like he wants to be on camera either.

Well done from Virginia! Outstanding youth!
How fun! Love the view of the mountains in the background
Aww I so wish I were on that flight. Brought tears to my eye..beautiful! Congratulations ❤
The Lion King Australia brought me here, and I am so glad it did!! So much talent!!
I went to DC in 8th grade and performed at Carnegie Hall with my high school’s Chamber Choir too haha! If you’d like to hear some of our recordings just search San Juan Hills High School Choir. We are from the great state of California.
You all sound tight and great! Way to represent the Chicago area!
this make me miss my mom she is a coordinator on our choir i miss her so much..see you soon mama😢😢😢 rip😭😭😭
Aww
I love the total polarity of the people who, you can tell have spent a day and a half flying, arguing with people working airline, and they've just boarded their flight after it was delayed for the 78th time, and the people who were really into it. Good vid though :)
Way to go Plainfield North!! So proud of y’all. Way to represent.
Nichole Pecora they were great kids. Thanks for watching!
Southwest Airlines connect with passages really well and make a great flight experience. Well done
They sure do I fly them every time
I just wish they sold food! Lol
Thank you so much for the lovely songs. Well done
What a great FREE concert the rest of the passengers had! I hope they appreciated it.
Our choir is going to New York this spring and I really really hope we sing our songs on the plane 😭
So beautiful
Love the in air music and the video. Airplanes were my “ office” for 42 years but ask me if the view from up there ever got old!
I'll always love the choir wherever they are singing, btw I can hear the baby voice crying but I forget the time😀
Absolutely amazing performance Plainfield North Choir! I'm sure you all did just as of an amazing job with your performance at Carnigie Hall in NYC too!
That one guy who's asleep lol he's missing out
Or they were so soothing he fell asleep.
Now, i thinks i gonna watch choir video today lol
It sounds like a special once in a lifetime enjoyable flight
That’s a lot better plane ride than what’s going on today !!
I LOVE this song! I got to sing it with my choir and it still remains to be one of my favorites.
I’m a choir kid...I WILL SING ANYWHERE
Awesome‼️❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕👌
Oh my gosh!! Amy! This is so big time! love you girl.
Thank you so much
I fly at least twice a month. Why can’t I be on a flight like that? 😭
Love it! 👍🏼
This lady really just put her earbuds back in😂 3:52
My son is a tuba player. Can you imagine his group breaking out instruments in flight??? Thus is great.
People pay good money to fly , not to be assailed by precocious brats , who think they are God’s Gift. They should have been told to shut up or get off: no consideration for others!
Is anyone gonna talk about how this gave chills to 99.9% of people?
Thanos Memes good chills or bad chills?😂
Wingin It with Amy good chills😅
Que lindo todo !💞💕👏🎻🎁
Seguros thank you and thanks for watching!!
She’s beautiful 😍😍😍
It’s brilliant
Lücre Lücstar thanks for watching!
Now we just need a choir to sing “There is a balm in Gilead” on a flight l.
Beautiful for the other passengers ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I now I’m late but whoever was sleeping on the plane probably thought they where going to heaven lol 😂
Here before UA-cam recommends this in 10 years claim ur ticket by commenting
I remember when we got stranded on our way to the stadium for our competition because of the storm so we ends up singing in our bus lmao.
I went to new York to sing at Carnegie Hall with my choir. HMS CHOIR
Zumba class me lol lol love ❤
AWESOME
To me that always feels...like coming home.
That was so cool. Bravo
I noticed this was done on Southwest Airlines
Lindo,lindo,lindo.Amei🌷♥️
That one dude that looks asleep I don’t think he was 😂 his muscles were tight
Beautiful
Wish I was there Mom and everybody sound real good !!!!!!!!
Can we just talk about 3:43 part
In the good old days when people flew on planes and weren't afraid of contact.
I sang can’t touch this by Vanilla Ice on the way to Majorca and got a better response
"Can't touch this" is by mc hammer lol not vanilla ice
Pretty cool!
Love it
Here's hoping the non-singers on the plane appreciated it as much as I did!
Southwest prob the most coolest airline out there for allowing them to do this lmao
That’s because the cast on the lion king are professional singers and these people are high schoolers
Planefield Choir ahhhha
my brother goes to that school lol but hes in band
Hallelujah
Performing on Southwest
Muito Lindo. Abraços do Brasil !
That’s the school I will be going to in 5 years
Very nice video BEAUTIFUL nueva aquí apoyando
yajaira Santiago thanks for watching and supporting!! (I had to look that one up)😜
Bravo Bravo
When the camera was shaking i was like is she being held hostage
Our choir sings a part before in indondana, but they're good
Ohhh snapp I'm like.....Illinois? No way. Then all of a sudden you say Suburb of Chicago. That's awesome
Me: Ahhhhh.....Now for some peace and quiet as I sleep on the plane.
Woman next to me: Would you hold my crying baby? We're about to have choir practice.
their good
Well not everybody can be a fan, especially when it’s forced on them.
the 2nd song is teh same as Oh Canada/ naitonal anthem (or the tune is very similar)
I’ll be the one person on the plane trying to sleep
Imagine having a splitting headache from flying and these shits start singing at full volume
A flash mob in the AIR! What next? 1812 Overture over France?
Passengers for peace. That's a church choir or high school choir, or both. Never under estimate the power of prayer, music and peace in this world. My family has traveled extensively doing just this very thing.
God bless you all 🙏🤗!
That hostess is incredibly young
That's the only way I would fly. Someone singing to me. Otherwise, I AM PETRIFIED!
Oh my god I did this song for my fall concert! INDODANA!!!
