I'm finally back in Mission Beach. Other than catching up on life and with no real schedule to tend to, I'm stoked to find downtime before the next wave of rehearsals, filming and auditions. I had a couple locations in mind for this song but decided to go back to my jetty in S. Mission and make my way to the old 1970s tackle and bait shop structure about 300 yards out. With its colorful graffiti walls and awesome Pacific ocean view, I quickly set up and shot this before beachcombers made their way in my direction. Doesn't the ocean look like its in slow motion? One of my costars from the Atlanta shoot requested this. I already had this song on my short list, so it was ready to go. The Cure Mixed Up album one of my favorites. This probably is my favorite Cure song. I like Six Different Ways, In Between Days, Boys Don't Cry, Friday I'm in Love well I guess they're all great! 😂
