I have no idea why I started watching your videos. they're oddly satisfying and disgusting at the same time, but can't help to be both intrigued and entertained. You definitely have a new sub
This looks like a job that may be kinda fun, but then I remember I can’t smell through the screen 🤢 but thanks for doing the work you do!
The other day I looked up online the crust buster. If it is like the one that you have, it cost more than a few of the cars that I had when I was younger.
I remember buying an 01 civic in 2014 for $1k
Ran it for 2 years with no problems 🔥 those days are long gone
Now you know why he was excited to get it. LoL
It worth all the money, Can't work without it lol...
@@PoorPumperSociety Bro Im a Plumber i boughth the same civic i drive it to the shop everyday, people look at me funny because i roll up with a whole ass packout in the passenger seat
I am of a pretty solid constitution when it comes to smells (farm hand growing up) but man oh man the time one of my friends needed their grease trap in the restaurant cleaned out..... Urp. It was inside too....
This is the dream job I would love to do because I can help the community be healthy and clean
Just did a 4000 gallon one this morning. Took the “stinger” put it in the tank, used the manhole cover to hold the hose in the tank, put the truck in pressure and let the air mix up the tank.
Nice! I need a bigger truck
@@PoorPumperSociety you do need a bigger truck how much off road do you guys do over there i dtibe a 20 ton loaded 3 axel rigg great off road has cross lock diff locks etc great channel keep up the gud work from new zealand ..
Can a grease trap smell like a skunk, smelling up the neighborhood?
I like how organised your truck is , and because of that can get straight out the truck and set up do the job and pack up so efficiently all whilst filming great work buddy you should be proud of yourself and your work
I don’t know about you but I think the sound of the hose is relaxing to me
I have cleaned out my fair share of grease traps, by hand, in commercial kitchens back in the day. Literally the worst smell that’s possible in the world. The one that sticks with me was the BK one. If I even smell a whopper, all I can smell is that damn grease trap.
Back in the late 80's I was a commercial restaurant equipment tech, and serviced and installed enzyme injectors in them and yes they did smell as bad or worse than a septic system.
Thanks for explanation on the natural bacteria in septic tanks from our guts. Makes sense. A old school plumber i worked with said to use cheese to get the bacteria in a new septic tank. May still do that but i appreciate your knowledge
Love your content
Thanks for watching!
The black metal container that you keep walking past is for fryer grease and believe it or not it is a commodity. and is stored until the market goes up and is sold. My grandfather made a crapload on grease in the 70's! There were even thieves who would steel the grease, that is why there is a lock on the container! It is silver on the right side.
I’ve been watching your videos basically from the beginning of your channel and subscribed.
Anyway back in the day when I worked at a Steakhouse we had 55 gallon drums to empty waste old cooking oil and every so often they would come by and empty them. By the time they were ready to empty the smell was more horrid than sewage like you said I mean maggots on top bad lol 😂 it would take your breath bad.
I used to clean a small under-sink trap in a dish scullery that was used for pots and pans. The smell would gag a maggot, and it definitely made me gag.
I had a friend that did this
13:36 💯 percent absolutely right on about the smell 👃
I'm the 273rd person to watch this. And i have to say I enjoyed it. Keep up the good work bro
Thanks for watching! Everyone wanted more longer videos so I’m doing my best to deliver!
I worked at a department store in northern California in the later 1980s and they had a restaurant and I remember the grease trap getting cleaned out, made a mess in the parking lot, it was awful
You should do jetting videos. I’m sure you know how much success drain addict has with his videos
6:30 you don’t have to tell me twice lol 😂 like I said another time been there done that on emptying old fryer grease and the maggots on top lol 😂
Here in Cape Brit Canada who we have love vacuum service company called Landry‘s vacuum service I don’t don’t but waste for a treatment plant they dumped it and settling ponds
Just found the channel, from tiktok actually. Good content bro
Thanks for making it over! I’ll keep the content coming
If you don't fill the tanks back up with water to at least the baffles after you pump them, there's a higher probability that grease will short circuit the system and get into the outlet line... bad news for drain fields.
I had to get lowerd into one a taco bell 2 days ago to clear the lines smh 😂😂 I rather clear poop lines anyday over grease 😂
You're absolutely correct grease traps smell horrible!
Why do the smell worse
Smells like $$$$$$$$$
I smell this through the internet lol
2:48 ha! Got em!! 😅
Lmfaoooo
Sorry i had to 🤣
Closest I’ve come to experiencing this kind of smell was cleaning a huge deep fryer in a fast food restaurant when I was in high school. Fucking horrid
Do you use anything to try and block the smell? I’ve heard of people putting vaporub or bengay beneath their nose to block bad smells, was curious if you had any tricks or just bear it lol
Get into a few fights should sort it out quick enough lol
It’s the kitchenAid gas powered hand mixer.
I love longer videos than shorts videos but hey that's imo
3:15: That smells real nice too.
Grease in the menudo truck! Edit: Manteca in the Menudo Truck
But
3:19 yeah takes me back to the steakhouse days lol 😂 whew 😥 horrid smell
I know I don’t shut up but where does the oil go is it in the black container by the garbage cans
I want to know his thoughts on Rid X. I think it's a waste of money but I could be wrong.
Do you use the same hoses and stinger for grease trap that you use for septic tanks? Just curious 🤔
I got a kfc ad before watching this video. I dunno if this is finger licking good, but it sure as hell smells like money
the horse got places to go too
Do you where a face mask for the grease trap or the septic tank?
They both look like they would stink so bad😵
Grease has a very distinct smell. I’ve never seen anyone in the industry ever wear a mask while pumping outside. In a confined space I would say that a mask would be necessary
@@PoorPumperSociety oh ok
How long have you done it for? Your job?
@@Grinxh1 4 years
@@PoorPumperSociety hey bub .. thats an horses ass. Known as an donkey 🤣 lol
Why does the grease trap smell worse then the septic tank
I actually know the smell of one theese
The school i went to had some put in smelt it get pumped and it reaked bad
To me grease traps smell like septic tanks. They both reek lol. Yuck!!!!
I was nervous you were going to drop your phone in there.
I’ve got an iron grip
What are your thoughts on products like rid-x?
Wait your names dom?
Let's get some 4k video on the nastier content. Lol
Your definitely not poor
It’s an inside joke with all of us pumpers. Instead of flexing we do what’s called “poor mouthing”. There’s a lot of money in this industry if you work hard and keep learning 📈💩
@@PoorPumperSociety ayyyy i like it yesssir keep up the hard work 🤙🏾👌🏾
Bro, why not invest in a gas mask? Avon M50 with the voice mic will run you about $700 if you look for a bargain, but having to smell everything and bear with it mustn't be good for your health, let alone comfort.
if he couldn’t handle the smell he wouldn’t of wanted the job use your brain
Hell yea grease stinks kfc chickens the worst lol
Darpro solutions suck as a company
