SHIPP'S TIPS - Episode 11 - Autumn Margin Fishing For F1s & Carp
Вставка
- Опубліковано 6 лют 2025
- In Episode 11 of Shipp's Tips, Des Shipp heads to Manor Farm Leisure near Evesham on the venues Ash Pool to demonstrate how to get the most from your margins now temperatures are on the drop and species such as F1s and carp may be less willing to enter the shallow water as willingly during your session. Pellets, groundbait and sweetcorn are Des's bait choices for the session ahead with a different approach required for this approach when compared to your typical shallow water margin attack!

Good stuff Dez love it :)
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed
What a fantastic, informative video. Could this work, fishing the waggler just a bit further out, into slightly deeper water. I guess the softened pellets would be loose fed in compressed balls?
No reason why not, you'll just have to be extra careful with accuracy when feeding by hand or catapult 👌
Class act enough said
I realy enjoyed that video des
Glad you enjoyed Billy!
Hi Des, good video, what size silicon do you use for that float? and the other small one's in your new range
And what lake were you on and the peg number thank you ☺️ god bless you
Can someone tell me what the difference is from F1 corn to normal corn apart from a bigger tin & a few quid more expensive than supermarket corn, it seems there is still a choice of smaller grains as Des uses, many thanks
F1 corn has sonubaits f1 flavour added in.
Hi hello well done thank you des can you please tell me is it called manor farm leisure in Evesham? Thank you
Hi Stuart, it is indeed :)
Hi des can you tell me where I can purchase the gizmo zt pro hook tyer Station from and how much it is thank you colin
Thank you des can it be fished on a day ticket by any one???
Yes, open for day tickets. Can be worth calling in advance just to check there aren't matches on but generally multiple lakes free at all times
Great video Des!
Quick question please:
Would feeding micros like that still work in 5-6ft of water?? 🤔 👍🏽
Do you not use the pellet wetter any more des?
Des still uses a pellet wetter when preparing micros for the feeder as he doesn't like them to be quite so soft so soaks them using the Pellet Wetter for a minute before draining.
Sonubaits cheers. I like to soak them for 10 seconds in a pellet wetter because it allows for additives to be Added. Am I using it right?
Yes absolutely 👌 It woupd be very hard to pour water on and remoove completely so the Pellet Wetter makes lofe a lot easier!
Sonubaits thank you
Sonubaits what’s the best micros for feeding?
Yeahhhhh
Hiya Des you implied that you soaked your 2 mill pellets for 45 minutes???????”??
Seconds I think he meant
Hi Steve,
With the 4mms, water on, then straight off. Over the 45mins of setting up they soften slightly.
2mms, just cover the pellets with water and leave, all of the water will be absorbed by the 2mm Fin Perfects. After 45mins they are perfect, swolen, and not sodden with water
As all round angler there’s only will raisan as good as des. In my opinion 😂
