LONDON: Spring tulips of WHITEHALL GARDENS

Blooming flowers and tulips at Whitehall Gardens, London. Let's visit the city of London and let's look at the Whitehall Gardens which offer an ideal place to sit awhile and enjoy the colourful spring flowers that are in bloom. Whitehall gardens are within walking distance from Trafalgar Square towards the River Thames (via Northumberland Ave) or the Hungerford or Jubilee Bridges that cross the River Thames. It is just one of the gardens that form the Victoria Embankment Gardens created from 1864 following the embankment of the Thames by Sir Joseph Bazalgette.
Whitehall gardens were laid out in 1875 by George Vulliamy with a wonderful array of shrubbery, bedding displays, mature London plane trees, lime trees and trees of heaven.

Beautiful video, beautiful tulips. I didn't know this garden has so many tulips. Do you know that my country Holland (otherwise known as The Netherlands) is famous for its many tulips. Every spring the "Keukenhof" park, an area of 32 hectares, is open to the public from the end of March to mid-May. One day you should also visit this park.😃🤩
