Girl Your glowing since you moved 😍
Thank you :)
Your answer about trying to just chill right now and being used to constantly chasing the hustle is EXACTLY where I’m at right now too. I have been in banking for 16 years and I quit my job in December. I just left a Starbucks interview because for once in my life I want to do something I just love. I completely relate to that. My goal is to learn new things and focus on growing my UA-cam! Loved this💜💜💜💜
Your perspective on things is so nice to hear, I've been watching you for so long it's a big sister vibe kind of thing, but yeah seeing more q&a from u was all I wanted thank you🥲❤ your podcast is so funny and natural too
Aw, thank you so much! :)
Before I watch your whole video I gotta say that your hair looks beautiful here! Love it long and straight!
Thank you!
Definitely more girl talk sit down videos with TEA 🍵 loved this video!💖
Thank you so much Sam for answering my question about anxiety after moving away from home. I’ve totally taken it on board and it’s really pushed me to get out of the house and be productive, all the while telling myself I’m more than capable! It’s really helped a lot! Lots of Love x
I love how real and raw you are. Your personality is beautiful. Also your hair looks so healthy and long! Thank you for being real and sharing the random little things like non matching pants or crying when you feel sad. I’m so tired of influencers only showing the picture perfect things. I totally respect you and love your content on all of your platforms!
Thanks for the advice Sam!!! We’re so nervous but excited!! I love your podcast it’s awesome 🥰
Sam ! You look amazing 😍 glad to see you thriving ! You inspire me always ❤️❤️❤️
I needed this video so bad!!! I love hanging out with ya chica, please keep making these kind of videos! Love you chica!!
Sam I love everything about this video!! You have grown so much since school, so happy for you you deserve all the good things that have come and are coming! And you are glowing 😍
Thank you for your perspective on "fake it til you make it". I'm not an aspiring hair stylist, but this definitely applies to any profession. Currently studying veterinary nursing and I 100% agree that as a newbie you'll make mistakes, it's almost necessary to do so to get better. Everyone's been new at one point! Having that mindset has gotten me through lots of skills practice so hearing that it happens even as a stylist puts my anxiety at ease❤️
That was so insipiring! Learned so much. Thanks for sharing this!🥰
loving your recent vlogs and videos!
I feel like I can relate on almost everything you talked about it.
It’s nice. Great video.👌🏼
YAAAAS IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!😅❤️
you're glowing!
Loved your realness in this video AND the set up.
My friends and I always congregate around the kitchen island, since we were kids coming home from the skating rink🤣
Something about chatting with your girlfriends, after a night out, hanging around the kitchen just brings me so much joy❤️
Yessss I love it! :)
Okay but girl you are glowing!!!! 🤍🥺
You’re really good at speaking and explaining things. I love it.
Thank you!
Haven’t even gotten minutes into the vlog yet but had to tell you you look sooooo gorgeous! Absolutely glowing, I love your look 🔥❤️

Love your podcast & your channel
Thank you! I really appreciate that :)
Your hair is glowing hereeeee, this color really suits you
Thank you :)
love your videos!
I think you would love Wine and Crime podcast!!
You look so good!!
Sam, I recently discovered your channel as I'm going through an identity crisis and I came across your "How I became a hairstylist later in life" video and I've been obsessed ever since. I feel like I feel the exact same way as you felt in that moment where you decided to change professions and you inspire me to go for it and not waste time overthinking and wondering "what if". I think it's pretty cool how you're a 100% you and that's very inspiring.
Thank you so much! Good luck on this next phase in your life :)
Yessss the first answer. I'm so happy being single. Nothing wrong with it.
Agreed!
You should listen to your own backyard podcast!! Very sad situation but the podcast is so good!
Introversion and shyness are two different things, you can be introverted and not shy. But your ways of overcoming fears are exactly what many therapists do. I had driving anxiety too, and I overcame it by actually getting in a car and slowly adjusting (after working with my therapist on it)
Thanks to you I had to go but some more of the chai concentrate! Lol 😝
I’m early😊 love you Sam! Your so inspiring 💖
Thank you!!
i MUST know what mascara you have on and what that sparkle is on your lids 😍😍😍
The mascara is Monsieur Big by Lancome and the sparkle is a random Pixi eyeshadow I had laying around, not sure of the exact name
That's my favorite Chai!
Soooo good!
Agreed, who made those rules?? 😋 love watching and listening you, get it girl!
Bailey Sarian is MY fave True Crime YT’er!
I totally agree with the introvert side you talked about. Im also introverted, and a hairstylist so everybody thinks you are extraverted, but your actually not😂 love your videos tho❤
I just took the love language quiz I'm single for three years and my love language is quality time ....
You are definitely GLOWING since the move! 🌟 I am here for it! 🥰
Thank you so much :)
Yeah Sam and I have similar personalities lol. FYI what do you recommend for eyelash growth? Your lashes look super long 😍
I use the Grande Lash serum! It works SO well!!
I LOVE BUT OK COME TO MY WEDDING SATURDAY!!! 😂
Hi Sam looking good Hun 😙😘
If you haven’t, check out the podcast Morbid! I love true crime and it’s my fav!
How did you overcome your driving anxiety??? I’ve been driving for 5 years now and can’t beat it 😭 it honestly keeps me so secluded in my house. The longest I’ve ever driven was 45 mins away . I get so anxious when I drive to the point I get panic attacks and feel like I’m gonna pass out. Nothing else has ever given me panic attacks!
i made a playlist for when i drive so i sing, or if there's people in the car i just keep a steady conversation to take my mind off of it. If you need a break then pull over, but I always keep a water bottle or drink with me if i get that lightheaded feeling just so i feel more secure that i won't pass out lol. hope this helps , always had driving anxiety 😅
Always make sure everything is set up comfortably before you start driving. So make sure your mirrors are positioned correctly, that your seat is in a good position, that you have water, napkins, phone charger, and whatever else you might need. Then get a podcast or music that you love. If you already have a playlist ready to go, that helps. And just start small. Start with 10 minute drives, then work up to 15-20 minutes, and make sure it’s always familiar places/ streets you’re familiar with. Once being in the car and the actual act of driving isn’t as overwhelming, work your way up to longer drives and eventually try driving somewhere unfamiliar, just make sure you have your gps set up ahead of time. Hope that helps!
Oh, wow, I thought your outfit was brilliant. I love that color combination!!! Also, I appreciated what you said about the on-line hate and un-asked-for advice in the comments. So, so sorry. I am totally guilty. And I am stopping now. Thank you.
I like what you said about not being super passionate about your career is ok. I think there is something to be said about that. Todays society pushes people to dream big and Love what you do. While I don’t think you should hate your job I do think you can be incredibly happy doing a job that is not your life or your passion. Years ago a lot of people worked for job security and money, not passion. While I’m not saying this is the “right” way, I am saying everyone’s path is different. I believe Happiness doesn’t just stem from living out one passion. You can have a dream job that you love and still be unhappy. Vice Versa. As long as your healthy and happy and able to cherish the ones you love you Are living the dream.
Exactly! Everyone is different, and I think the key is to not listen to what everyone around you is saying you "should" or "shouldn't" do and just do what you think feels right for your own life.
hi Sam. great video. do you still see Julia that did a mukbang with you? how is she doing? take care. see you next time.
That’s who I do my podcast with! We live far away from each other now, but I plan on seeing her in June for my birthday :)
Moved to Wilmington to get a fresh start too. My sister lives in the area. Didn’t plan to stay but I lived in NC for 8 years. Miss it a lot now that I’m in NYC. Enjoy it.
Omg not my question as your first one!!! I’m famous 😂
Hahaha thank you for the question!!
I don't like pressuring kids to go to college right away. U don't want to waste money if they're not ready for it or force them to pick a major right away. I know somebody who yanked their kid out of college the first year due to too much partying...
Agreed!
Community college is a good idea for kids that aren’t sure about their interests or if school is good for them.
