It's a big credit to him that he hasn't 'gone Hollywood' which is usually the kiss of death when musicians, especially, from the outside decide to live there after having success. Don't know exactly why, but after being absorbed in L.A., they seem to lose the 'mystique' or whatever was cool about them in the first place. Especially with British/East Coast musicians-so many of them have become blanded-out as a result of being a dime-a-dozen-run-of-the-mill Hollywood celebrity. Musicians and actors out there are pretty much the same thing. Didn't always used to be that way. Even McCartney's gone 'Hollywood'. Yeah, big deal.
Hi Leeza ....digging your interviews ....heres my aussies band song , i wrote ..about death and separation that i love .....greetings from australia - you might dig this profound song (if i do say so myself ! ) lol..
Evan has come back to LA twice since that interview, and told me he's even thinking of living in LA for a while... I did convince him, after all, that Los Angeles does have some interesting, intelligent, and creative people too.
@@lizasmith977 But as a 17 y/o France guy it is a dream of me to heard Evan and Neil Young to sing together because of Neils falsetto avec Evan Tenor is a perfect counter balance..I'm sorry for my English, I know it sucks but I try lol ( also studying music..but Bass)
@@lizasmith977 Evan has always been a man who marches at the beat of his own drum, as well as someone who confuses the press/interviewers all the time, often on purpose, so I'm not sure you should take so much credit for him coming back to LA.
Evan's such a dude. Great to hear him sounding so good. Thanks for uploading this.
The real King of Grunge. Good to know he's still about man.
Even better to know he's still in touch with The Fannies ha ha.
He's got too much pop sensibility to be merely "grunge". Indie Power Pop, perhaps...
He sounds cleaner. Which is brilliant. Dando is great

Man! Evan and Nick Lowe recording together - that would be brilliant!!
The two have always reminded me of each other in certain ways (specifically late 70's Nick Lowe). Both have great mellifluous voices.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Who is the band in the background?
Justin Bieber was born in London ontario and grew up in Stratford ontario
i wanna know how he's been dealing with the stds he caught from courtney love
I’ve seen his bits, and they look just fine.
First 2 minutes... Awkward !

Gibberish1983 I would generally agree with you, but when he comes back to LA, he stays with me in my house. So, perhaps some credit... ;)
