As I was watching and you questioned where to wear those boots, I said church at exactly the same time as Doug! They might be a hit. I have a 78 year old truck driver on the dairy that has purple hair and beard to match his Peterbilt truck. He says nobody ever told me I looked cool before in my whole life…..

My brother and I and some neighbor friends were in the barn where some calves and pigs were and thought it would be fun to jump on and go for a ride. It was going good until Dad came in.......we all got a boot in the backside. It was still fun!

My wife says they look like boots from the 80's. She said some stuff is coming back. Looks like Dougo is up on the current fashion.
I had to think a minute about those boots, and the only thing i can think of, is wear them at Christmas and put matching bulbs on the tree, or wear them on new year's. I wouldn't have imagined you picking out that color, because i imagine they would draw some attention, being so shiny and all. Doug should just pay attention to the thing's that you look at and say you like, and write it down. G-d bless.

Spent my summers on my Grandparents farm in Brown Valley, The farm long gone, spent countless hours picking rocks. Came back to Browns Valley 3 years ago, sad to see how run down it was except for the new Dollar General. Love the videos…Got a pic of my Dad and Grandpa on a horse draw hay wagon in front of the old Browns Valley Roller Mill, not sure of the year. I can send a copy if you’re interested….
Did you say Montevideo? Been there many times. Spent summers at relatives in Clara city, Renville, granite, olivia plus a few others. Don't know if those are around you? You up there definitely have a language of your own. Lots of hey, yup, oh. Learned my hot beef sandwich here is a commercial there!
My Uncle had a farm in western Illinois and the state bought 600 acres of his farm to put I-88 through it and the rest of his acres (400ish) they paid him to NOT farm it.

Brownsvalley to Ortonville is 40 miles by road
Hey Amy I think u need something called deer whistles or Alerts that warn the deer that ur car is coming only the deer can hear being u live in MN ect.. just for safety my mom and I live in VA and we get our fair share of deer ect... the warning horns attach with Adhesive on the product that's plastic and attaches to your bumper on your cars.
We had those in the 80’s I think

Amy, I'm with you, i don't pair my phone to my vehicle either, because i do not even turn it on when I'm driving, because it's not worth getting distracted and possibly injuring or killing someone in a wreck. I have known two people who have been in wrecks because they were on a cell phone. I like it when you just decide to start filming Doug, it's always interesting with you two. G-d bless.

The rural roads don't have enough traffic to justify spending a lot of money on them. As farms get bigger, there are fewer and fewer people living in the rural areas so even fewer people served by the roads.

Do they make that color boots in construction style boots. Nobody will notice my mess ups because everyone will be starring at my boots - (Oh i'll take a few punches and get laughed at - small price to pay)
Someone said they looked like "church boots" OMG can you imagine wearing them for communion? Be cameras going off in church and it wouldn't be because a wedding was taking place.
I guess I'm missing something..... you drove to Watertown and were going to exchange the boots but they didn't have your size, so ... instead of getting a refund you drove all the way home with them even when you clearly didn't like them and actually poked fun at them? What did I miss?
