I was so happy when I found this video. As the red heart yarn I bought to practice which was all in one without changing colors and made exactly 14 granny squares . This was perfect. Now I'm hooked again after over 40 yrs .
Delighted to find this as I bought the book from Amazon but it did not explain how to join the pieces together now I know how Thank you so much for sharing or I would be stuck with granny was and triangles! Oh the pattern I got had totally different granny squares but garment same. I was so clueless as to how I would join all together if not for your excellent grace !
I’m making the squares but mine have big gaps in the pattern. I tried using a smaller hook and that helped some but it’s still really open. Any suggestions?
That's how it is with this type of pattern. I could suggest doing stitch on stitch instead of 3 stitches in every gap, but that would create a solid square.
Hi! When you crochet the triangle and the square together you do it like you start to attach the first cluster to a corner cluster on the granny square?( I mean you don't attach to that chain 2/chain 3 at the corner space on the granny square anything from the triangle, right? I hope it makes sense, and thank you for your help always!❤
Hey hey! Hmm, I think I got your question. Since the triangle is half of the square, you just have to make sure each stitch is attached to the correct one. Maybe start counting from the middle to help you figuring out where the corner is supposed to go :)
@@KristinesDayYes, thank you!!❤❤ and at the corner of the triangle, you attach the to the 2 granny squares that are next to it? So I attach 2 chains from the triangle to 1 chain from the first and 1 chain from the second granny sqaure, but where will I attach that third chain from the corner space in the triangle?😊❤ and soo sorry about my stupid questions, but I have learned how to crochet from UA-cam, so if I need some help, I can turn to you or sometimes other youtubers, if I watch their video, and in my city there is a yarn shop, there the shop assistans are really kind, and they help me often. So i just wanted to say thank you again for answering and helping me always!❤❤ I hope you have a great day!😊
Excellent! Job!😊
