Congratulations! I started going to my dad’s allotment with him and helping him out in the first lockdown after my mum passed away. It was my dad that told me about your channel and would say things like ‘have you seen Jessie has started her … seeds’ and next time we met up he would have started his too. The door to our brassica house is based on the design for the door on your poly house! When he sadly passed away last year, he had been on the allotment for 16 years. I have continued with the plot on my own. It really is a love that gets passed down the family! All the best

Fascinating, funny and a fitting tribute to Mom… heroine of The Plot…over the entire history of 37 and 36A…Plots….Amazing👌👌👏…Absolutely loved every bit of the ‘interview’… and thanks to ‘Dad’s photographs too oroviding some brilliant visuals from various stages of the plots evolution …Think that whole thing is a very significant historical record of the ‘Allotment Movement in this Country…( And I am Really Serious, when I say that … You Two Allotmenteers👍👍)…Loved the fitted carpet walkways!!!…and why not 😳😃!!!Your dad/ husband( who looked like a trendy type back in the day…)and Mom was very elegant too….Don’t know about that little copper headed little ‘person’ though!!?….looks like a bit of a ‘handful’ tome 😱😳???. History of the the Girlies was lovely too ..particularly the gigantic red one….and Moms devotion to them before she ‘twigged’ they went to bed on their own 🤣🤣….Wonderful celebration altogether with the Champers!!…even though some memories were lost in the ‘mists’ of time…until photos jogged the memories…Then the lights went Out!? 😳….Here’s to the next 200 Folks and Thank you so Very Much for continually producing the brilliant PLOT 37 episodes.. which have always been THE BEST … 🏅🥇🏆❤️….P.S… noticed that ‘Lil’ positioned herself prominently behind you …as if we would forget Her !!!👏👏👏🐈…Sue (Bham..still a big and faithful fan )

Wow 35 years there. That is great. I would love to see some of the neighbors who have been neighbor allotments there since the 70s. What fun stories from the different decades and different trends of the times, like the carpet. I like your reasoning for starting the Instagram. I can write in my diary calendar, but I've learned I'm terrible at placing a name spike by the seed. Take care

1. Congratulations on 200 and a lovely video. 2. Seeing your dad's structures, I was tempted to send you pictures of our efforts with standardised raised beds and interchangeable "lids" (2x1 frames and chicken wire!).
Congratulations to you and mum! It’s been so enjoyable to watch. I started watching in lockdown when I wasn’t busy on my own plot here in Somerset and it’s been so helpful and entertaining too!

What a beautiful episode Jess and mum, memories and now video evidence for the future. Very lucky Jess to have this time with mum, something as a child I dreamed I’d have, but like your mum I moved to the other side of the world from family just the opposite direction. I found you when you had about 1100-1200 subs, I remember you didn’t have enough subs to make $. It was in the autumn, I do remember that. I’m incredibly amazed at all your knowledge and ability. Absolutely loved listening to you and your mum telling us about your mum and dads journey, my gosh the allotment was very smart, your dads raised beds and cages he made, very neatly put together layout design great too! I bet your mum and dad’s plot was a talking point between other plot holders back then ha!! Just perfect!

Wow Jess that makes you .... yo, that is a surprise as I thought you would be early 20's. I could not place the age I thought you were and the polystyrene trays age (I had those as well) but assumed they were from your mums. Great history lesson, love your videos and you and mums activities, what a wonderful family legacy. Good point about the location of the current shed and walking through the plot on arrival.

Its council land, all allotments around here are. You can find private ones but they are very very expensive and no guarantee how long you will have them!

Congratulations on your 200 blog I am the same I helped my mum on the allotment that I currently do have now could my mum passed 15 years ago And it has changed a lot but not as lucky as you know photos and we've been on the allotment for 52 years 🎉
This is the greatest episode ever! Love your family background and the info about The allotment is particularly interesting to me in California as I had no idea how that system works. How great that you have had it for so long. Love your point that you can keep it if you move house and it 9:40 allows you to have much more space then would be affordable with a house on it. Keep on growing! Love your channel.

Papa Sheffield looks like a real cool 90s dude in that BBC film with his jazzy earing and shirt, he looks a lot of fun. I see where you get your woodworking proficiency from.
I really appreciate seeing all the old photographs and the evolution of your growing space. The plot has been such an integral part of your family and your life. Is it safe to say the allotment is home? It's for sure become an integral part of my Tuesday nights 😂

That was a wonderful view into the past. I will try to remember to take more photos of my garden and post to instagram. I'd never thought about using that as a memory. Here's to the next 200 videos!!!!!!!!! I'll be watching them all. 😀

I remember finding you on UA-cam and watching your first one in April I think it was 2020. I was alone in my house for several months after my husband died and my allotment was the only place I could go to see anyone. I loved your videos then and I still do, I've learnt so much from watching them, although my cucumbers are still way smaller than yours!!!

Well done Jess that was so interesting. Made me think at what we have done in that time. Having lived in london for 39 years we moved to rural Herefordshire and shared a 40 acre farm. Keeping sheep, goats, poultry and cattle and growing in a 2 acre wall garden. A slight move up from our 180 foot suburban garden, although we did have chickens and 2 dairy goats! After 11 yrs we moved next door onto our own 10 acre smallholding where we still are after 23 years.
Yay 200! Again. Don’t know if I’d be able to manage a plot that size but thanks for the look back. Cheers!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Fascinating history and photos of the plot throughout the years Jessie! You and your family must be proud how it's evolved. The very first episode on UA-cam I watched was when you had discovered vandals had stabbed holes in the polytunnel. It seems the repairs have held well over the three years! Cheers!

Was chatting to my Mum about the potty mouth flower special and we got on to talking about Lupins. She said she has big trouble with lupins too in her back garden but for her it's aphids rather than slugs.

Thats some really beautiful memories, and now you are creating new memories ❤️ Love watching you and your mom together, I wish I had those memories with my mom ❤❤ Sadly she passed away 4 years ago, and is the reason why I started gardening. I got her half of my parents cabin and garden, and it needed lots of work. My dad and I did a great job with it as a sort of grief process. Now it's a whole different place, and I think mom is really proud of us. ❤
