Just wanted to say thanks for this video. and the other torrex videos, I went to my local shop today and went home with a torrex XT, and it was after playing with other hoyt bows within that price range, including the regular torrext, and some of the competitors as well. The XT just felt like it was my type of bow (new archer) and the price range was ideal as the higher end bows offered less in terms of a noticeable difference. but honestly, my XT felt way smoother in terms of draw even with the same amount of poundage !! heres to many years with my new Hoyt Torrex XT !! thanks again !!!
Can’t commend you enough for presenting an honest take and giving guys (and gals) the confidence to know they don’t have to pay another $400, $500, $600 to get a really good bow.
Thanks for these reviews. I bought the Torres XT after seeing your other video. What is your arrow length at 27.5” draw? Same for field point and broad head, or longer for latter? Thanks a lot!!
It's crazy how quite those bows are.. I have the carbon ultra version and I feel it's loud. I feel like the 30+ inch draw doesn't help but dam those are quite.. And btw 28 seems to fit u well
Brilliant reviews. Say how it is for what it is. And leaving it up to us to fill in the gaps without all the useless crap if we want to? And believe me. After finally making a short list of the bows I'm thinking of buying seeing how they look and function I'm hoping it'll help in my final decision. But so far you've helped in striking two off my list and given me a better understanding of what's out there. It's jusy a pity you can't do anything about the prices over here ? Here being, Australia that is. Anyway keep up the good work and happy hunting.
I can’t believe how quiet both those bow are. Been away from archery for a couple decades and use to use string silencers and glue a thin piece of rubber on the arrow shelf. Did it mainly to silence an arrow accidentally dropping off the rest. Used a drop away rest back then as well. That XT is a good value. Thinking of getting back into it to extend my hunting season.
What does the cam size deal with? I have noticed on a lot of bows that the flagship bows seem to have same looking cam but just bigger. The torrex looks like it has same cam just a hair smaller than the axius
I apologize for the late response, I have been away from the channel for the last year while I have been building my house. In these bow models, Hoyt offered or offers multiple size modules depending on your draw length. The 2 base module offers a shorter draw length range than the 3 base module.
Hey i just scored an axius for 430 bucks, i also have a torrex xt that i love. Do you think the axius is an upgrade now considering the price? Or should i re sell the axius?
I apologize for the late response, I have been away from the channel for the last year while I have been building my house. At that price, I would definitely consider the axius an upgrade.

Thanks. Based on your review went with a torrex xt today!
Glad I could help! That is a great bow.
I bought a Torrex XT and I ended up choosing it over several other brand bows!! Hell of a Bow for its price point!

I just bought a axius.. oh well
HAHA i remember drilling my eyes at the torrex lineup since it was a cheaper than most for a hoyt bow, here i am with a proper target setup😂
Question shooting a shorter arrow than your draw length would bring up the speed

I believe the torrex is 80%let off and the axius 85% whatever was changed hopefully we'll see across the line up.

What is 2 base and 3 base ?

Could u compare these with the pse drive 3B? I am hearing that this might be as good if not better. There in the same price point
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Could you do the XT with tactic 😍
Is the Torrex comparable to PSE drive?
What grain arrow were you shooting that got 270 fps?
👍

You do this to build your channel and get views. Then you need to edit the video and put the sounds back to back. You can edit this.
