Not Dooma but what I do is ele sus everything at the start while holding block then start doing ha's while looking for targets that aren't burning anymore to ele sus them again. how the hell did you enchant serpent's distain? I have created the glyphs and I'm told that I don't have any glyphs to fit the armor or weapon. So, how the hell did you do it?
@@Dooma That's what I was thinking, but it wouldn't allow me to do it. So, I changed to Warrior Poet and now I'm on my way to test it out. Thanks for the response.
@@Dooma So I ran out of time. But I did manage arch one. No problem there, this build kicks. Although, it seemed a little slower than usual. But in the later archs this thing will straight out murder. Health is stunning, it never depleted. Magicka however, I'll figure that out before tomorrows run. Thanks for sharing your build.
So, today I gave this build a run. My archive buddy was with me. The first two arch's seemed like a slog, but not a problem. The later arch's..., holy hell! We spent six hours in there having a laugh. One thing of note, Thoa't arch five. My buddy died to the dragon. So I walked over, stood in the glass puddles and did a resurrection while the dragon breath hell upon me. I suffered only 10-20% health loss! This build is a great tank. Thanks @Dooma for sharing your build. I am under the impression that this build will take a duo to around arch 15-20 without an issue. Solo..., I'm yet to test. However, it looks as though arch 9 would be the lower end of a solo archive run. Duo? Well, the world is your oyster with this build.
Hi J! I wouldnt personally recommend going into the archive in that way. It would be better if both players were fully self sufficient with 1 player playing a proper IA tank set up. Trying to cross heal each other as something (to depend on) is most likely going to limit your potential progress. The person tanking should be able to not die on their own at all times. There are plenty of builds out there for it now such as this one here from Hyper: ua-cam.com/video/Ytwr7aEdOPg/v-deo.html
I made this build and I got into Arc 3 with no focused efforts vision. After a tremendously long SLOG I just quit, it just takes forever. Am I missing something? What do you do if you don't get the status effects boosting vision, survivability is great but the damage is very low and it takes forever to clear.
Hi FrLouis! In the Archive, everything changes after about arc 4-6 or so (depending on the person). The content scales upwards, forever. So that means its going to get harder and harder and harder with enemies having more and more health hitting harder and harder. This set up is the "final form" to accommodate that. Your damage in the archive, comes from the visions and verses primarily at that point. Then, the damage sources from your build is more or less fully negligible in upper arcs, normally less than 1% of your damage with status effects being the majority. You build in the archive is not to do damage, it is to stay alive and take advantage of status effects. The damage comes from visions and verses. So that means, early arcs are going to suck. What you should do is just throw on whatever dps set ups you like to get past the earlier arcs, then start peeling back those things and adding things from this build. It sounds complicated, but thats just how the content works. The early arcs are "easy" and not what the archive actually is once you get going. It really "starts" around arc 4-6, which is when this build will step up and take over. Before that, if its too slow, just add whatever you want for more damage. Change cp. Change food. Use a spammable like Force Pulse. Etc. Everyone playing the game is dealing with the same thing currently who want to push high. If you DON"T care about pushing high and just want to hop on weekly leaderboards for rewards, than builds like this will work totally fine: ua-cam.com/video/6hWBanq2RJc/v-deo.html&t As you can see in that build, its all gas right out of the gate and will fly through early arcs.
Hi Rares! Thank you! This is the Court of Bedlam costume dyed black and white. It is also on a very skinny character to get this look from it. It look's different on larger characters. Here is a link! eso.mmo-fashion.com/court-of-bedlam/
Hi Royalty! Here is a list from Discord: Passives in ESO are very important for builds to function properly. At minimum, as a baseline standard, you always want to have the following passives, for every build for every role in the game in combat related content: 1) All Class Passives. 2) All Weapon Passives of the weapon types you are using. 3) All Armor Passives of the armor type(s) you are wearing. 4) All Racial Passives. 5) All Guild Passives of the ability you are using that will increase output or sustain in anyway (EX: Fighter's Guild passive Slayer, Mages Guild Passive Magicka Controller, etc.) 6) Alchemy Passive Medicinal Use 3/3. 7) Both Undaunted Passives --- Once you have excess skill points you can circle back and fill out the passives you missed like the misc. guild passives, world passives, crafting etc. But as a minimum baseline, you should have enough skill points to get all the passives from # 1-7 above, on every character, on every build. It is a lot, but its part of the grind of ESO and why grabbing skyshards and things like dungeon skill points along the way are so important. Just about every player in the game, at some point, has had to circle back and farm more skill points to round out a build until they had enough to where it didn't matter, so being short early on is totally normal. While this is probably not the answer you wanted to hear, there are 2 good takeaways: 1) Once it's done on a character, its done. You never have to worry about it again for that char. 2) You now have the knowledge base and confidence to not have to worry about "what passives do I need" anymore. Now you know, every class, every role, every combat related content piece in ESO, you should at least have 1-7 above.
Hi Proc! That build will work great outside of the Archive, or in very low Arcs. The Archive is very different than anything else in ESO and requires special set ups to go far.
Hello there, i love this build, came to arc 7 with that. Could you please give me some advice on which visions I should use in this build, except avatar visions? Focused Efforts, ofcourse, but what else? Vicious Poisons?
Hi Viendo! Awesome job on Arc 7! A few others to try and get are the "Support" ones such as Scorching Support and Ferocious Support. Both of those are very important for higher arcs for you. A couple Piercing Perfections is usually good and I always try to get 1 Resolute Mind (useful to help live after breaking cc). I hope this helps some and thank you for watching!
Hi there! First, thank you for the comment and apologies for the super delayed response. 🙏 I am just returning from being out from surgery. Have you seen this one as well? ua-cam.com/video/KlaZwchnOB0/v-deo.html It's a much more fun way to play this set up. I am coincidentally updating this build this week on stream if interested in seeing it early. For this build you commented on, you can totally use a lightning staff and earlier arcs will be much easier by doing so. But it will have a shallower ceiling without the frost staff later on. However, the video I linked above used a lightning staff all the way through to Arc 10 solo I believe it was.
Hi Mats! Here is what I just said in Discord about this exact thing: "The IA build's are designed for upper arcs. It's going to be way overkill defensively in early arcs. In those lower arcs, I just tell people "do what you have to do" to get through them at a pace that is comfortable for you. Everyone will be different. You can change sets, cp, food, skills, etc. in early arcs to get through it faster and as you go further and further, add elements of the build back to get however tanky you feel you need to be. That's good awareness and a great learning point for IA. Now you can see your damage comes visions and verses, not your build in the Archive. Your build is more about preventing deaths and then taking advantage of status effects (Ex: Serpent's Disdain), not necessarily providing more damage itself. Two very general changes you can do that I do personally for most of these set ups that speeds things up: In early Arcs I use Deadly Strike + Serpents and I use the Force Pulse spammable. This gives more dot damage, makes those early ele sus' burning procs hit a little harder before you get any Focused Efforts, and helps speeds up boss fights well enough. Force Pulse splash damage is also fantastic for quicklly clearing small adds. Start rounds by spreading ele sus, then just force pulse everything down. Usually only takes a few seconds per wave in Arc 1 or so." I hope this helps and thank you for watching!
Hi B! Here is the reason for Tri Enchants: Health: You must stack hp in IA. Magicka: More primary resource, more damage, more healing. Stamina: More ability to sprint, dodge roll, interrupt, and cc break. Tri enchants help round all that out for you. If you can't tri enchant, then I would do a mix of Health on the big pieces and Mag on the small pieces. Make sure to pick up a Resolute Mind vision as well which will help out with the lower stam values.
Hi Abstract! Poison and Hemo also get extended. Also, you arent tunneling into one mob until it dies most times. You do get little windows to use is as a spammable (and lots of time on bosses), but normally you are sticking and moving. In those instances a single application of ele sus gets you ~20 seconds of burning + whatever proc'd and stuck with that global. In higher arcs, even trash mobs have millions of health. You need every status effect you can get, lasting as long as it can. Great question, thank you!
Seems odd to have so many Reinforced slots and NOT have one of them be the Cuirass, as it has the most base armor and thus the most return from Reinforced.
Hi There! You can chop it up however you like. You’ll end up with mostly reinf/nirn either way with a few divines. What is left over to push/pull around is extremely small. If you wanted to use something else other than divine in those few pieces, then there are cases where reinf on the chest is definitely the better option. I’m not advocating at all you shouldn’t use reinf on the chest. It’s definitely the superior option in general to use as a base for a set up. I’m showing that you have some freedom in this specific case. It’s not as rigid. What’s lost/gained is almost negligible. Whatever anyone decides to do with the resources they have, everyone’s goal is the same with what you have to work with: Hit resist cap with going over it as little as possible. There are lots of trait combinations to make it happen. Great comment, thank you! 🙏
Hi there! Super late response, apologies. Catching up now. After this PvP event, I plan to spend a some time back in IA to check out all the changes. NBs are on the list for sure to check out.

Hi Bin! Gotchyou! Bedlam costume. Dyed black and white. The reason this may look different than you have seen it is because it looks slightly different on super thin chars. This char had every possible slider in char creation moved to the far left. 😂 eso.mmo-fashion.com/court-of-bedlam/

Thank you for this comment! I didn't realize I never changed the description haha. The written guide I think was out the next day or so. Here you go! www.thegameroom.tv/sorcerer-builds
how the hell did you enchant serpent's distain? I have created the glyphs and I'm told that I don't have any glyphs to fit the armor or weapon. So, how the hell did you do it?
Hi there! If everything was crafted at the same max level, it shouldn’t prevent you from enchanting it. It should be the same as all other gear.
@@Dooma That's what I was thinking, but it wouldn't allow me to do it. So, I changed to Warrior Poet and now I'm on my way to test it out. Thanks for the response.
@@artaqifaturiel7512 Awesome, glad you got it kind of sorted haha. Good luck, you got this!
@Doom could I put a pet on my and if i can which should I get rid of because my duos need the heals the pet provides?
What outfit styles did you use on this one? Looks amazing.
Hi Rares! Thank you! This is the Court of Bedlam costume dyed black and white. It is also on a very skinny character to get this look from it. It look's different on larger characters. Here is a link! eso.mmo-fashion.com/court-of-bedlam/
What passive abilities are you using? I cant seem to find that information.
Hi Royalty! Here is a list from Discord:
Passives in ESO are very important for builds to function properly. At minimum, as a baseline standard, you always want to have the following passives, for every build for every role in the game in combat related content:
1) All Class Passives.
2) All Weapon Passives of the weapon types you are using.
3) All Armor Passives of the armor type(s) you are wearing.
4) All Racial Passives.
5) All Guild Passives of the ability you are using that will increase output or sustain in anyway (EX: Fighter's Guild passive Slayer, Mages Guild Passive Magicka Controller, etc.)
6) Alchemy Passive Medicinal Use 3/3.
7) Both Undaunted Passives
---
Once you have excess skill points you can circle back and fill out the passives you missed like the misc. guild passives, world passives, crafting etc.
While this is probably not the answer you wanted to hear, there are 2 good takeaways:
1) Once it's done on a character, its done. You never have to worry about it again for that char.
2) You now have the knowledge base and confidence to not have to worry about "what passives do I need" anymore. Now you know, every class, every role, every combat related content piece in ESO, you should at least have 1-7 above.
@Dooma i am a new player, so your response was perfect. I appreciate the help.
@@Its_Royalty_ You are very welcome, I am glad you asked!
@@Its_Royalty_ Also, on this topic, check out #2 here for CP passive info: www.thegameroom.tv/build-faq
Hey, i haven't play like 1 year and i have a build one bar sorcerer based on Slimecraw Sergeant’s MailStorm Master its still working great or ? thx ^^
I hope this helps some and thank you for watching!
can you use a lighting staff with this build i dont really like the frost staff
Hi there! First, thank you for the comment and apologies for the super delayed response. 🙏 I am just returning from being out from surgery.
Have you seen this one as well? ua-cam.com/video/KlaZwchnOB0/v-deo.html
It's a much more fun way to play this set up.
Nice build! I use it for solo in horder content, but How can I easiest increase damage? I use lighting stoff.
Hi Mats! Here is what I just said in Discord about this exact thing:
"The IA build's are designed for upper arcs.
Usually only takes a few seconds per wave in Arc 1 or so."
I hope this helps and thank you for watching!
@@Dooma Thx for the replay, I will try that :)
Could just a health enchant be used instead of tri for every piece?
Hi B! Here is the reason for Tri Enchants:
Health: You must stack hp in IA.
If you are using Ele Drain as a spammable, why use Serpent's disdain?
Don't you already have %100 uptime on your status effects?
Hi Abstract! Poison and Hemo also get extended. Also, you arent tunneling into one mob until it dies most times. You do get little windows to use is as a spammable (and lots of time on bosses), but normally you are sticking and moving. In those instances a single application of ele sus gets you ~20 seconds of burning + whatever proc'd and stuck with that global. In higher arcs, even trash mobs have millions of health. You need every status effect you can get, lasting as long as it can. Great question, thank you!
@@Dooma Thanks!
Dooma, when will we see a nighblade arc ?
Hi there! Super late response, apologies. Catching up now. After this PvP event, I plan to spend a some time back in IA to check out all the changes. NBs are on the list for sure to check out.

Very nice Reaper! 💪
I NEED this outfit
Hi Bin! Gotchyou! Bedlam costume. Dyed black and white. The reason this may look different than you have seen it is because it looks slightly different on super thin chars. This char had every possible slider in char creation moved to the far left. 😂
