I am not sure why they did not just make it a permanent feature of the interior, maybe it had too many polygons. It is not even just a normal piano, i am not really sure what it is.

tbh I think it would have been hilarious for a scene kind of like this to play out in the full game where the Happy Mask Salesman just goes WILD on the Organ he summoned out of literally no where, looks to you and goes, "Hm, perhaps this may be easier to memorize-" And plays the three notes you need for Song of Healing

I imagine Nintendo would make a pretty rupee if they made a Zelda-themed rhythm game. The catch-notes glide across the scale in the OoT ascetic; yellow "C" buttons and such. The franchise has a virtually endless amount of memorable tracks that could be remixed.
This would be a really good gag if it was in the game, like he just starts going off and then when Link just doesn't know where to start, the Salesman has to dumb it down to the three notes.
