These are just beautiful. Am just starting out on crafting journals & your videos are such an inspiration and so helpfull. Will have to add some flowers & bling to my stash.
These are AWESOME and would make great little gifts. I am definitely going to make some of these, I have so much vintage fabric and I think they will be awesome too. TFS your wonderful artistic talent with me. xoxoxo
Again, a great tutorial! I have embellished some paper clips but I really like your way of doing them. I didn't know they are craftyirinas design, it's nice to know that. Thank you for all of your shares.
I have one word to describe you. ( Amazing)!! I have learned so much from you. I still have lots of videos to watch but I learn something from everyone of them. Thank you so much for all of your work. Oh I'm OCD also.😘😘😘
I recently found the craftyrene's channel and saw the paperclip video. I made me some but in the giant paperclips. I had hoarded so much. It sure was a lot of fun to use up those crafty little bits. I sure enjoyed watching your video. Thanks for sharing. hugs from linda in TX
These are really beautiful !! But I dont have the supplies yet to make them. My stash is very small. So I have saved this video for the future!! Thank you!!!
Hi Cheryl! TFS your ideas! These are really pretty and I'm going to attempt to make a few for my planner. P.S. It's SO nice to see there are other OCD crafters out there. Lol I do the same thing with my bling!!
Fun video -- plus I'm delighted to see someone else OCD-ing. Have just about finished organizing two banker's boxes of paper snips and am feeling very proud of myself.
Great video--wonderful idea for scraps. I was just thinking about what I was going to do with some of them. You put them in a box and when you can't see them, I think they multiply! Thanks for this.
Obsessed with this tutorial. Nothing makes me happier than using odds and ends to create something beautiful. I think making things from odds and ends always comes out better. Luv luv this technique. Thank you soo much. I will be making these immediately for my projects.
So cool. They look awesome. I have some feathers that I think I will use to try to make some clips. Thanks for sharing! I love that they're different from most.
I am so loving the beautiful complexity of your paper clips! I've never thought of doing these because I didn't like them. You have changed my mind...thanks!
Very sweet ideal of saved little bits and pieces! Thanks for sharing! Glad y'all were having a sunny day to enjoy an outing. Brr it turned cold again here in my part of Texas. hugs, Judy
These are really cute. I've seen Irene make her's also. I hate to say this but your voice is more pleasing to listen to. Don't know why just my ears I guess. Hugs... Linda
These are gorgeous Cheryl, I've just been bitten by the altered paper clip bug and loving making these ... TFS this the tips are great, didn't cross my mind to use fabric!! :/ .. Love them !
+Fiona J Thank you Fiona. I love making custom ones to go with the current journal I'm working on. And it's an even better feeling when you get to use up things, you might otherwise have thrown out!
Most definitely, I'm on a mission at the moment, to declutter the scraps laying around, making these altered paper clips are sorting that issue out for sure!!!
Awsome, I would have separated them as well , Only I wouldn't tell anyone heheheheh. Your amazing the tiny little things you do and so well. So glad I found you to watch.
Lovely little clips. I can only find silver metal clips so I'm going to try colouring them with alcohol inks. It may work or it might just be a recipe for disaster.
Sooo gorgeous!! The Cheryl clips are BEAUTIFUL!!! Love your details! Awesome tutorial on how to take apart those flowers! I too have OCD...all my bling is organized that way!! I'm sooo glad I'm not alone! Hoping you and hubby have a great day out! Tight hugs my friend!!...irene
Toni Parker First a glue gun. Paper clips from the dollar store, bling from the dollar store. You can get eyelash trim from the dollar store, as well a little flowers, and buttons. Then you need a base, so scraps of fabric, or wide ribbon, or even paper will work. That's the awesome thing about these, they don't need a lot, and they aren't expensive to make.
They are beautiful, I have only just started crafting so I will have to wait a bit to have scraps . I hate glue guns too lol, mine leaks all over it like makes cobwebs lol not sure if its time to get a new one or not. I have subscribed as I want to learn more x
+Yvonne B Thanks so much for subscribing. I have a series of video's that are meant to inform, and make crafting more fun. It's called Tips, Tricks & Tools
I just watched it again to remind myself, and it was in total focus for me. I film in 1080 HD, you can't get much better than that. Check at the bottom right of the video to see if you have it set at 1080. Don't what else to tell you, sorry.
I know this is from , like 4 years ago but still very much worth watching ! But I do have a question that has been driving me crazy, , , I have not been able to find the person you are giving credit for these clips (Irene). I have seen videos from her but can't find any current ones, can you help me, thank you.
Those were a gift, but if you check out your thrift stores and find some crochet, like table runners, you just cut out the doilies and those are the left over bits
I think these are so wonderful and you are using up your left overs! (Which I have a ton of.) You have a gift for teaching and explaining in your tutorials. I would love to join some swaps. I am not new to paper crafts but have never participated in a swap. Can you give me some info?
I do my swaps with a Facebook group. Unfortunately it is a closed group. But if you have someone you know well, or feel comfortable to swap with, then that might be an idea for you.
On your lace clips, how did you cut the lace? And what size of lace is it? I really love them and would like to make some. Your help is greatly appreciated!
Super cute. FYI, if you use hot glue, the little string things are all over- take your heat gun and whoosh it around and like magic, they will all disappear!
Boy, now, I was right there with you on these gorgeous paperclips until you said, "Use your thumbnail...". That got a big harhar from me & I'm thinking, "Well, I don't guess I'll be using any flower parts on mine. I don't have anything even remotely resembling fingernails. I have chomped them up to my elbows since I was just a little bitty kid. I'll bet you I will figure out some way to get them apart. I could say, "Hey, Son, are you busy?" I have no idea why I never tho't to buy & use sequins in my artwork. I've got oodles of beads to hang on my journals. And like you, theOCD kicked in & I dumped them out & seperated them. Now see there, you've inspired me to get sequins when I go to the store tomorrow. I bet I can get them from Dollar Tree. I always buy bunches of goodies from Dollar Tree in Orlando when I go spend the day with my best friend there. That's one of our must stops when we're together. Thank you for these great ideas for my paperclips.

If you were new at this kind of thing but like a go what is the basic gear you would start to buy? To get going

love these but wish the camera had been in better focus
I just watched it again to remind myself, and it was in total focus for me. I film in 1080 HD, you can't get much better than that. Check at the bottom right of the video to see if you have it set at 1080. Don't what else to tell you, sorry.
That worked!!!! Thank you so much! I'm so new to all this computer stuff lol
Happy to help. You can also set it to auto, and you shouldn't have that problem again.
I know this is from , like 4 years ago but still very much worth watching ! Tami Clutter she isn’t on UA-cam anymore
Hi again where can u get those dollies peaces at those r to cool ?
Those were a gift, but if you check out your thrift stores and find some crochet, like table runners, you just cut out the doilies and those are the left over bits

On your lace clips, how did you cut the lace? And what size of lace is it? I really love them and would like to make some. Your help is greatly appreciated!
It's probably about 2 inches wide, and I just cut it with sharp craft scissor. The Tim Holtz brand
So adorable - TFS 💜
Thank you Jacqueline
Forgot to ask, are the doily bits from paper doilies?
+D J Tuttle
No they are the connectors from a doily table runner
Hi again so the sentments u print up how do make the size they r so little .
Monique Miller I just print them in word pad. You can adjust the size of the fonts in that program.
Beautiful! I'm glad I'm not the only one that has crafting OCD's!!
where did you get all your different sequins from ?
My usual place....The Dollar Store lol
awsome . great idea thanks for sharing xxx scrapqueen

Cheryl, what kind of glue gun do you have?
When I use one which is rarely, I use Aleene

Super cute. FYI, if you use hot glue, the little string things are all over- take your heat gun and whoosh it around and like magic, they will all disappear!
