- Heey everyone! Today I have a different video. DIY Embellishments without punches. I don’t own any, so I had to get a little creative. I remember I had a request to do a video like this and I hope you will like it. It was my first time making them and they will be perfect for snail mail or junk journals. Maybe even in your art journal. Let me know what you think :)

Such a simple concept. It is often we overlook the simplest of ideas when trying to create. Thank you for reminding us of how to use our scraps! I've been holding onto mine for too long with nothing to use it for. Such pretty end results. Loving your ideas for working with what you have lying around.

absolutely perfect. thankyou so much. creative and fun recycling gave me loads of options i hadn't thought of. yesterday i used all the snipped off edges as 'confetti' in an abstract collage... also didn't know i was a paper hoarder...duh...like pens, and pencils, erasers, adhesives... we're all a hot mess. keep up the awesome vids.

I LOVED this video, I have been thinking about starting to make embellishments, I already love making tags and borders, I love using my scraps and stash, I save tiny bits of paper. I have no punches and enjoy cutting things with my scissors. You have really inspired me.

Great idea! This would save tons of money instead of buying die cuts, fancy stickers plus it keeps stuff out of our landfills. Also, it always means more that it is totally handmade. And it looks fun! Great idea for kids art projects & teaches them to use simple things they have on hand.

Wow you are amazing. I am trying to keep from buying a bunch of punches etc. You have given us great ideas. And I love being able to use the scraps of paper. I don't like to throw them away. Great job.
Thank you so much! :D I do the same. Punches are just so expensive and I am affraid that I will not use them enough. Since this video, I did buy a circle punch, which I use a lot. Circles are just a very difficult shape to cut by hand :). I also keep all my paper scraps, I just love it too much LOL. I hope you will have a lot of fun making your own embellishments. You have a Lot more patience than I have This is all fine, if you have no punches, etc. But with the $$ I've spent on punches, dies, and even the ScanNCut my hubby bought for me, you can better believe I will be using them! I dont have your kind of patience.
