This wonderful tutorial took almost four years to get across the ocean all the way to Germany and I am now going to recreate these cute paperclips hoping it does not take me years :-)
Those are fillers, you can probably find these sold in a jar at the floral section at either Michael's or Joanns. Another alternative can be rice grains. =) TFW Hugs
I loved this tutorial, you explain everything so well, and show exactly what you are doing. The clips are really cute with the shaker tops on them. Thanks for sharing.
Your clips are so pretty and you explained it so well.......I'll definitely be trying these. They're just adorable! Thanks so much for sharing your creativity!
Love this! Quick tip though if I may :) instead of a bunch of layers of paper, what about using fun foam? Same dimension and less hassle! Love your videos, so glad I found your channel! 😊❤️
Great tutorial! You really explained everything and made it really easy to understand. I always thought glossy accents was just for adding dimension. I never knew I could use it for a glue! TFS. I subscribed.
Thankyou Raelene! And especially Thankyou for all the sweet comments in the past. I finally got a phone that let's me comment back fast lol! Much love Hugs Kelly
I really like this Video! Helped me a lot creating shaker elements for my planner 😊 And I think you don ' t have to edit this, it is perfect like it is! Thank you so much and greetings from Germany!
I'm so glad you did this tutorial! I made some paper clips after I saw your prev. video and did put your link on that video. Everyone who saw it on my channel loved the paper clips and of course, I couldn't take credit coz it was your idea, lol! Someone asked for a tutorial and I replied you would be doing one. So, yay! Also, I wasn't sure how you attached the clips because I didn't want to attach it on the back, I wanted it also in the middle...so I did struggle a little. Now, I will try glossy accent instead of the fabri-tac I was using. Thanks, Kelly! Hugs!😄💖
I loved your job, well explained. Congratulations!!! I would like to know if you can put the name of the 3M glue in the description, it has a fantastic beak of handwriting. Do you know where I can find it to buy? Thank you!
I love these! Thank you for the tutorial. I have one question.....instead of adhering the paperclip at the end, can the paperclips be glued after adhering a couple of the die cuts and then finish adhering the rest of the die cuts on top of it?
Good question, I think whatever method works best for you, however I decided not to do it that way because it takes time for the glue to dry and set I'm very impatient lol.. and by doing it that way as you mention, I found it a little difficult to keep it centered. Attaching it after assembling the layers works better for me. =) TFW! 😆
I am a impatient person too so it makes since to do it your way. I am a newbie to doing shakers so the easier the better for me. Thanks for your quick reply.
For adhesives I love Scrapbookpal.com, it's free shipping over $25. For new CHA releases I go to Yourscrapbooksupply.com they have the best prices. But locally my second home is Michael's lol! I love hobby lobby as well but they are not close by. TFW hugs
loved your video, thanks. I was just wondering what your heart punch is actually called. I can't find it anywhere. I can only find single heart fiskars teresa collins ones. I think it's a really cool punch. x
Just an idea, what about adding the paper clip in between the layers, when assembling the layers, then you don't have to cut an opening at the end. TFS!
Hi 😆 Thankyou so much for taking the time to watch and leave a comment. I would definitely love to get back into selling on Etsy but it's a little hard right now with a newborn hehe. Hopefully in the near future. I hope you do try to make these, it's actually very easy after you make your first one. Hugs 😆
Thanks for watching 😊 Yes that die set was release awhile back, hope you find it soon, if I happen to come across it I'll let you know and try to leave a link above. Otherwise any other die shapes will do as long as there's a window opening or you can use a punch to create one. Have fun! *Hugs 😆
+Madelyn Camacho Found one here, but keep searching maybe there's a better price elsewhere.. www.123stitch.com/item/My-Favorite-Things-Die-namics-Cute-Cameras-2-Die/MFT-00092
Lover video you did a fantastic job don't worry about editing. thank you so much I never ever thought about doing this very clever, you save me a lot of money LoL. I was going to go on people's website and order some decorative paper clips but now I know I can make them myself and have all the materials just never though it thank you.
Do you think mommy lhey's diecuts would work for this tutorial if I carefully cut the layers with a exactoknife ? Can this be done "carefully" or you NEED a machine thingy?
Hello, how are you? I'm crazy to learn how to make these clips to embellish my Planner but here in Brazil I've never seen a cutter the same as the one you use! Can you tell me what the name of this cutter is? Would you have any website to indicate that you can buy? I found those heart cuts beautiful. Your video is beautiful! Bjos
Hi Christine, Thanks for watching, and yes it is the EK success pineapple punch. I punched it out and ran it thru the big shot with a small circle die. I did however tried to use a punch but the punch was not deep enough to punch the distance, if you can imagine that lol. So I just used a circle die instead. Also I paper pieced the stems of the pineapple. Hope this helps. 😆
This is the first time I have been to your channel, they are so cute! Love them! Where did you find your paperclip holder and what are you standing them in to dry? Thank you
