@@thezishateapotchannel.1675 Thank you. I have one from Shi Siao Ma which the Taiwan TV show Treasure rate as 200k Taiwan dollars. I have one supposedly made by Xu Hantang. If that is authentic it's worth a lot. I have given some away without knowing their value. Recently I gave two to my friend. I bought for RM 100 in the eighties. He got a valuation of RM 1400 for both. How can I send you pictures of my collection? Thanks
The problem with this hobby is I can't read Chinese. I have teapots books but only enjoy the pictures. Even those educated in Chinese can't read the seal at the bottom of the pots. I have consulted a few, they say it's ancient script and they can't read.
@@SoonWahStuartLim Totally okay Soon Wah, I have a ZiSha teapot friend who is very into the hobby like you and me, and he doesn't read Chinese although he is Chinese by race. But he is making all the superb entries and purchases all the time. Just need a great mentor who is totally giving, and the right connections. But I must say, 99% of ZiSha buyers have been duped. Even those "well known" ones in the press, they didn't know they have been duped as well. And we are afraid to burst their bubbles because they are too egoistic. So we leave them alone, a sad fact of life. Some who are fated, and good-willed, will enjoy a blessed journey of trust, honesty, friendships steeped in integrity, and of course tea😄🌿🎋🎋🎋🎋. A magical journey of appreciation and discovery. All of us can talk to these honest artists too.
