Good battery. I have a RadCity 5 plus and I like it a lot , but next Summer I will look into this velotric Discover 2 or the Discover 3! In red for sure....great place to bike there..
@@theridewithlance The Radcity 5 plus is a good, utilitarian bike for sure...a bit clunky-the 2" wide tires are ok for city riding...I replaced the stock tires with Schwalbe Marathon E plus. No flats so far. Rad Power has new bikes out but I'm not ready to buy a new bike. Mine works fine. The fat tire bikes (4" wide) looked appealing to me at first, but nearly impossible to bike without battery! I sometimes turn off the pedal assistance for some exercise. I changed the bike from class 2 to class 3 and I get a small bump in speed (from 28km class 2 to now 34km h) More than enough for commuting. I like the velotric 2 a lot. In RED...waterproof...I hope that bikes get less heavy...65lbs or more is way too much
Is the throttle either full on or off? Can you hold your thumb to maintain a certain speed without constantly having to remove it when you reach your desired speed? Thanks
You can modulate your speed, but you do have to use finesse. It also will take you to the set speed for each PAS level. But if I remember right, if you unlock the speed you will get full power in any PAS level.
Very helpful run. Thanks. Glad you got home safely 🤗
Thank you!
That is awesome for throttle only
I have to agree.

good result that. 👍
Yes, not bad at all.
I noticed there is some lag when you engage the throttle to when the motor starts to increase speed. Is that correct or am i mistaken? Thanks
Its not really a lag, just a slow power build up.
I had to laugh because my neighbors must hate me constantly riding around the block trying to kill a battery😀
Its always that last 5 miles. LOL

@@theridewithlance So even if I just lightly touch the throttle it will go to full speed. It's not variable? Thanks
What phone mount are you using?
Its from Vicseed. Here is the link to it: amzn.to/3MQD6IY
Doesn't that throttle to 30?
For me I get to about 25, 26 on throttle only, then have to pedal to get to 30.
