Lance I was there in Paris when you gave interviews in FRENCH -- and YES the French appreciated it. The douchebags throwing piss on you never saw your interviews and you made a HUGE effort to speak the language and it was greatly appreciated. The clip sent in was not to make fun of you, but rather to show how much work you put into the Tour de France even when you were off the bike. Kudos to you Lance and see ya in the douches!
Oh my god. Andy Schleck..."Fire in my belly" man. Such a great cyclist. This is such a great show and I am so excited to tune in everyday...you three give us inside info, stats, data and something that we would never get if it weren't for you. Thank you fellas!!!! I am such a fan. :)
We enjoy the You Tube version of you guys. We love the relationship between you guys. I saw George a lot at the Tour of Missouri, those where the best vacations of my life, Christian Van de Velde, Thor, etc! The Italians pretended they didn’t know a word of English. I have a banner from the 09 time trial, it has an image of Christian on it as winner from 08. With riders signatures all over it. I got to met Mark Cavendish on his first trip to the US, he drove the sprinters crazy. I loved it! Better than any beach vacation.
Great show guys! LA - Love the banter and chemistry with you and George on the show! It’s been a great insight into how the riders probably are thinking about the stages and the humor thrown in! Keep up the great work
Hi guys. I’ve followed and loved you guys from day dot. You got me on the bike and up the hills Lance and your challengers. I ride the hills everyday here on the Gold Coast, Queensland Oz. Another Slovenian reporting in. Let me just tell you, cycling fans here are having a hard time believing what's going on at the moment. Never in a million years would we have dreamt of having both the white and yellow jerseys at the biggest bike race in the world. It's history in the making for a country of 2 million and an absolute joy to follow the Tour every day. Fingers crossed that Roglič and Pogačar can keep up their performances for the last week and bring it home in the end. Thanks a bunch as well for making the show, I tune in every day and it's fun to hear the banter. I'm just lost on the douches thing. What's that all about? :)
I so enjoy this show! The chemistry between Lance and George is pure magic! I would love it if you did share more power numbers on the riders when you have access to it. I teach an indoor cycling class and I love giving out the power numbers of the professionals in comparison to us mere mortals. Keep up the great work.
Even though the podcast team seemed very neutral to Andy's podium pick, it does make some sense when you look at total time loss over the 4 recent tough mountain stages (8,9,13,15) when compared to Roglic (not including any bonus seconds): 3. Uran: -67 seconds 4. Lopez: -78 seconds 5. Yates: -109 seconds 6. Porte: -29 seconds 7. Landa: -28 seconds 8. Mas: -159 seconds Both Porte and Landa seem to have the 3rd and 4th best consistent climbing legs right now in the tour. Their bad crosswind stage is hiding this in the standings. Lopez looks good too, his major time loss was stage 10, which is while ago now in "tour time".
Hilarious and informative guys. Love the impersonations Lance, the gr8 questions JB, and thanks George for the glue and kindness haha. Thanks for the 15 days of commentary. Wanted to comment that I was at the 1990 Athens criterium as a junior racer. Pretty sure I got 2nd out the break...don't remember where Lance placed.
Any of you guys see Bernals strava during lockdown? He was putting in some serious miles. I wonder if he overcooked his training while out in the high mountains in Colombia with his pops motorpacing on that motorcycle
Yeah he definitely overdid it. Just to expand on that though, my brother told me that Bernal’s numbers were on par with Roglic’s and Pogacar’s while they were all training. This made me think about Bernal’s statement about “doing his best numbers” the other day and I think he meant best numbers in this Tour up to that point. I haven’t looked and compared the numbers myself but I think that’s what he meant and not best numbers of his career.
Hey Guys thank you for the show! I'm mexican and I like to get a funny an different point of view from cycling. Today I remembered when Lance came to my city in 2009 to start Vuelta a México
It's about time to discuss how the best riders performed earlier this year: The Slovenian TT 2020 Championship. Pogačar won with 8,5 seconds advantage over Roglič. Trace was 15,7 km long with average gradient of 5% and 721 meters of elevation. The entire trace was uphill, with first part being just slightly uphill, middle part with some extreme climbing up to 14% and final part with moderate gradient. Tactics: Pogačar did a bike change, Roglič raced on a TT bike. The TT race was brilliantly executed as it is quite similar to the upcoming TDF TT on stage 20.... Slovenians are ready :)
Any chance one of the shows could discuss the crash w Jungels and Higuita? Listened to both shows and wasn’t discussed so I’m curious about their input. Thanks!
Any chance Brailsford looked at TJV and realized even with Thomas that Ineos would be beaten? So he focused on the other two Grand Tours and reclaiming the TDF title next year during a "real" race season. Just curious what y'all thought
Hey JB, George and Lance, thanks for the podcast. I am in Boulder and would love to know if you would ever plan to have a live in-person (socially distanced) viewing of the The Move? I would definitely make the ride to Aspen to catch it. Keep up the great work boys!
Bernal was off all the race. Ineos tactics were catastrophic for their level, they weren’t moscas. I will root for Pogacar for the yellow, is a beast, -though I am Colombian- and Uran for the 3th. Great podcast guys

Hey Lance, JB and George, love the show. In german (Sepp) "Kuss" means kiss. My question: When is the cycling "prime" age? I always thought late 20s early 30s but the new generation of the Pogacars and Bernals seems to be reaching top level in their early to mid 20s
Question for LA and GH.....how do today's Tour race bikes compare to the first Trek Madone Carbon frames from back in the day? Lightness, rigidity, ease of sprinting power? (I've got an 04-ish Madone in Plata Negra PJ1)
J R skills bro... big countries are just jealous bcs small country has good athletes.. you dont need epo to hit threes, or be good goalkeeper .. hard work and IQ..
Hey guys sorry for being late to the party, well not really. Anyway, speaking of power and numbers. It's 2001 and I'd completed rehabing an ACL replacement 2-wks. early, so with 2-wks. of rehab still available under my health insurance, the physical therapists asked if I'd like to try the exercise program used by the professional cyclists they work with. Bianchi currently 1st place, Colnago 2nd. What were Lance and George's favorite bikes during their career? Were the ever envious of another team's bike?
About Roglič losing the final sprint to Pogačar, Roglič said that he was little disappointed that he didnt win. And the reason why he didnt win was, that he started the sprint too early. But he is still very happy with 40 sec lead over Pogačar, especially if he could keep it before cronometer in stage 20. Pogačar as always is very cool and said that if the legs will be o.k., he will continue fighting. Marko from Slovenia

@@JP-om3ou Yes, I remember the trailer. That was the first year and I believe the 2nd year too. Maybe Lance was not feeling very comfortable with podcasting in general at that time. And Lance had still some tricky personal legal issues unresolved at that time too. But I agree he is much more relaxed now.
went riding today after the tdf did the Col de la Biche and the downhill after, one hour after the race. It is a very steep climbing (which you don't see on TV!!!!) and the downhill after that was very very technical, i could not imagine doing any race in it without taking major risk. The road surface was very very uneven so i can not imagine for the riders it must have been a real challenge. But TV doesnt show all difficulties. The cornes are very tight too so you are breaking down like crazy it takes a toll on you.... Climbing the Grd Colombier after that .... wow.
That was brutal. But hillarious. 😁 George is on rampage by now. Looks like he is lashing out back at LA for years of Lance picking on him. Now he's like "who's your daddy now!" Lol
You have been talking a lot about the jerseys. What about the white one? Since young riders are so much better now, what is the point of white jersey? Maybe they should have a jersey for 30+ riders 😜. Love the pod, keep up the good work.
Great show guys! One question, although George mentioned that Quintana's crashes are the main reason he wasn't at his best, Lance's face told me differently... So what is the conclusion? That crash like really affected him that much? Obviously affected him in some level, but what do you think
Question for you guys. Yup, Bernal blew up and lost the tour on the day. When he finished the stage he looked disappointed but relatively relaxed. Do you guys think, when Bernal realized he had lost the tour, that he took his foot off the gas so he could redeem the tour for INEOS by winning one of the remaining stages?

) cracking. They won way to much and I don't believe you win so much without "help"
@@pinarellosq2868 lol
Having andy is the best!!
went riding today after the tdf did the Col de la Biche and the downhill after, one hour after the race. Climbing the Grd Colombier after that .... wow.
On a scale of 1 to 10 guys, how clean do you think the Tour is this year. 10 = clean as a whistle
In 2004 Lance once famously won at Villard-de-Lans (ready made headline, "Villard-de-Lance") and the finish was the same
“Haven’t seen any vascularity on you lately” 😂
Epic show guy's. 👍👍
Lance.....you would be a king of sports talk radio!!!!!
greetings from belgium :) the future is bright for us belgians with wout van aert and evenepoel and many other young talents
Freaks! (Amazing to watch) Also does Belgium feel about MVP?
@@81caasi We like van der poel! ofcourse there will always be a little bit of rivalry between the netherlands and belgium, but that's a healthy rivalry! we got massive respect for the guy and sometimes is would say he is a bit belgian too haha
LAN is all that. Was that before or after you started dropping? 30 min spot
Guys - Pogačar has even pretty much all of his rides there - incl TdF
Umm hey Lance, that site I tried to go to for the hammerhead didn't work.. could you please send another link. Maybe George? Thank you guys for all of your time and love the podcast
