- Finally had a chance to put the Steam 550 through its paces and see what it was fully capable of doing. And the results are very positive. Super happy with this heli from the build quality to the flight characteristics.

Those piro flips were something beautiful
Because of the bold color and looking right at the frame instead of a canopy those piro flips looked great. People just don't know how hard that was and he made it look easy.
Very impressive, seems to do the business!

Really cool flight. I am intrigued by it and it's cool there is another heli brand out there. For sure I would get myself a Goblin first hehehehe but that was a really good flight. Haven't seen Aaron post in a good while, he still has it, even if he's a little out of shape but still flies fantastic, way, WAY better than me.
Not sure how he’s outta shape but he’s always been able to fly great.
@@rcspeedracer don’t get me wrong. I am happy he is starting to fly back again. And he can outfly me 20 to 1 or more. But he had an oopsie when flying low and his funnels were not at a consistent altitude. He is a fantastic pilot but he probably has not been flying or as involved on the hobby as before. His tips and tricks and videos were also great. Just happy to see him flying back again is all.
@@toadiscoil I see what you mean. To be fair it was also the first time that he ever flew that heli and had zero practice on that one. Not really set up to his settings.
I didn't know you could fly a helicopter like that, as you started I thought it would just flip over, but you actually had CONTROL!
I'm a Quad Pilot, so I want to know, with a helicopter, do you have any drawbacks compared to a Quad? It looks like you have plenty of mobility and power
Lots of power and mobility as needed. Much harder to fly then a quad is. But all fast or 3d flight on anything takes skill and practice. But this heli with this set up has plenty of power to do whatever I would need it to.

Is this all there is when it comes to helicopter flying ?
Not sure if you mean brand or flying style. But there are many brands on the market that are capable of this type of flight. But you can fly any of them how you like. If you want to just hover or fly around very basic that’s ok too. It’s all about whatever makes you happy and what you enjoy. Just takes a lot of practice to fly like this.
Can you please explain what you mean. I'm not sure how we are supposed to understand that. You don't mean the style of flying do you? Are you trying to say he didn't do enough 3D moves? Your statement does not make sense as it is. Can you explain it a little better?
Seems to perform well but DAMN that thing ugly. seems to of fallen out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
