There are so many ideas and influences stitched into this movie. The story arc is amazing, they navigate a slippery slope with some of the narrative, I'm sure some people will hate it but I loved it. I sometimes felt uneasy or worried for Bella but you end up being able to let go of that as the movie progresses. It somehow feels old and new as you watch it. Old gothic and sci fi movies get a grandiose treatment in a way that makes you think of Terry Gilliam AND Alice in Wonderland. Style wise, it's like Art Nouveau and surrealism had a love child! Gushing as I only saw it yesterday but still feel it's magical effects today

The best movie I've ever seen. Yorgos changed my life with The Lobster and now he changed it again because of Poor Things. :,)

This film is a true coming of age story. So visually beautiful, smart, and funny. My favorite film of the year.
