I was really indifferent about the song after first listen, but it grew on me immensly after a few more times. Now I love it and am very excited for the new album.
Understand and respect your opinion, but I see this song as a release to present to fans what the new clean singer can do. I love this song and I'm loving this new band called Miss May I Lay Dying.
People complain to much these days anyways I see nothing wrong with this track sounds like As I lay Dying to me which is great but also has that Mordern twist to it

@RichardJanvrinYT ok so can your brain not handle a 5minute song?? Your attention span that small? A song has to fit in with "Whats popular this second" to be a good song.. fuck outta here this dude don't know anything about music
@RichardJanvrinYT that's certainly fact but nearly all of that will be pop music..metal and rock songs are longer on average, cuz ya know, screw radio airtime or listener retention lol
I admit I wasn't a fan of this song off the first listen. And too ass to what you're saying I've been listening to AILD since FWC and this legitimately was the first song from them I immediately didn't like first listen. Still a good song but it felt like it was missing something.
I agree with it sounding "flat" and not very dynamic as you said but I think what happened here was a bad song choice for a single. This song feels like a song that would be around the middle point of the album that is just a "good" song but more so just filler... It's awesome don't get me wrong, but it doesn't have the heart that Burden had. I think it just shouldn't have been a single.
No they do not lol if it's not broken don't fix it Avenged Sevenfolds new album was horrible I respect that they tried something a little different but it was a major Letdown imo
They don't need to change anything, it's just a softer song on their upcoming album, I bet most of the songs are going to be just like Burden and previous songs
@@AKmumu ty bro that's what I was trying to say this sounds like As i lay dying to me which isn't a bad thing at all just means they know who they are and they don't compromise that style but it still sounds fresh and has that Mordern metal feel to it while also keeping the OG style alive and well
I get a lot of all that remains an bullet for my Valentine riffs and chorus lines from this band plus I have heard a few albums better then this this year but as l lay dying is old skool the way they ever gonna be same for all that remains an slipknot etc
It just kinda feels like a bunch of riffs / sections stitched together , and not a “song” No thought to growth and dynamic fluctuations really. It’s cool, in pieces. As a whole it’s nothing special. Not a stand out imo Cut the fat boys.
This track is a little indifferent for me. I do like it but at the same time. There is something missing. I think there are moments that are great. Then some that is just meh. Still excited for the album.

Bro them riffs they play are old five finger Bullett an all that remains riffs
Gotta say, it's not a bad song or anything, but to me it's kinda boring. But maybe my nostalgia about songs like 94 hours will never leave.
Snoozefest... But i guess it was a "HIT" for someone. 5/10
