    the last four minutes of the final song is the best part of this reaction haha. Just you slowly getting mad at the slow key inputs had me rolling. 🤣

    Thall just leaves too much open space in the music and I have a hard time staying engaged with it. Though I will say I sped up the video to 2x during some of the slower parts and it actually sounds pretty damn good in double time! 😂

      Yeah this stuff isn't very influenced by Sex Pistols or Bad Brains

    This was good. I enjoyed it for what it was. It wasn't amazing, but I do hope to see more metal bands do stuff like this. I find Thall to be an interesting style of prog/tech metal. I do also tend to have a hard time connecting to instrumental metal myself, but those riffs are stupid heavy. I dont see this having much replay value and I may never listen to this ever again but i am glad to have heard this. I give this just barely a very very light 6.8/10. Not quite a 7 but it deserves higher than a 6 or 6.5. ...And yes, I can't help but wonder how vox would sound over this. lol

    Hey, why do you even listen to new music if your mind is already made up? How do you ever experience any of these releases for what they are if you're talking about how you'd fix them over it the whole time? It's like you hear music in blocks of ideas instead of actually listening to the music that's playing into your ears. If you can't commit that much effort into listening to and reacting to an album, then stop. Because what are you even offering then? "some guy's reaction to music he decided that he's forced to listen to"? And I know you gave them props and all, but you also just spoke pretty negatively over (I assume at least SOME) people's first and only listen of this release/artist. You have to realize the filter you're putting over this music. If it isn't for you, just don't post the reaction. Be a channel worth coming to instead of just being ANOTHER reaction channel that got comfy, tripped, and ending up chasing the algo instead of doing right by the very thing they're using their channels to push to their audience (music).

      I am a musician/producer and I listen to music in blocks of ideas. Almost like the show Night Gallery where there are several paintings and stories to go with each painting. This music is absolutely structured in motifs so it can be taken as a whole or in sections like classical music

      I would also "fix" (more correctly edit) a lot about this. Not because what is there is terrible or anything but just because as someone who has to do this exact thing a lot, that's just how I approach art

      This release is awesome and it's very creative, ground breaking and artistic, but your caveman approach to reviewing it and inability to appreciate the layers and textures woven into it's various parts was kinda sad, really.

    It's actually possible to just sit down for a few minutes and enjoy a piece of music thats longer than 2 minutes... Why tf does everything has to be rushed and squished together??? Classical pieces last hours

      @@JohnDoe-xr8lrThall bands are definitely on the rise. My favorite is Allt, by far. Then there's Glaciers who released an amazing album recently. The vocals for Glaciers aren't my favorite, but instrumentally, it's great.

    • @JohnDoe-xr8lr
      @JohnDoe-xr8lr 3 місяці тому

      @@TriggerFingerRC allt and glaciers are definitely much better than this, yet I'm not a fan of thall music. Instrumentally it's too limited and slow and overall kind of boring to me. If you like it, I salute you, I just hope it's not the future sound of metal.

    • @JohnDoe-xr8lr
      @JohnDoe-xr8lr 3 місяці тому +1

      @@Lamira_Chaos first anything with vocals. Second fast paced 5-7-8 metal, without cleans, yet melodic songwriting. I just can't fuck with this slow, overproduced, almost dubstep-like thall music, it's too boring for me. If you like it, that's great, I just hope it's not the signature sound of metal in the future.

    I get that the Thall pitch shifting thing is a main feature but the reason Vildhjarta was so successful at using it was that they knew how to dial it back. That being said, I adore how experimental this shit is and that it belies a sense of humor on the creator's part

    It sounds like music from Quake II and Doom. Nothing special or heavy. I guess you guys really have a poor understanding of music if you get excited about something like this.
