That freaked me out when he said that. I'd just had a horrific nightmare someone was under my bed grabbing my hand from the side and pushing from underneath. They were trapped under my bed which has sides to the floor but they were trying to get me. I woke up screaming. Thought I'd relax back to sleep with this and he says take safety measures!? What does he mean?
I used to toss and turn every night until about 3-5 am because of my insomnia. This video has been my path to sleep. I would lie in my bed for hours but now, I watch this video and I can't even get through the video without falling asleep. I watch it every night without fail because it is the only way for me to get sleep. Thankyou so much! 😚💖💖💖
I have very horrific dreams at night because of the things that I watch. I usually think when I watch the things that I do I will be fine but I have the dreams any way. When u do this mediation it lets me sleep so soundly I can not believe it myself. My friends do sometimes think it is weird to do it every night but I don't care (LOL) but it definitely helps me fall asleep at night!!
Instead of listening to media deconstruction podcasts I’ve decided to once again listen to this everytime I go to bed. I turn it off when I feel when I’m about to be asleep. The results are that I feel more rested as I’m following the guiding voice. An excellent exercise 👍.

Sometimes I have weeks where I struggle with falling asleep and have more heightened anxiety. I've tried other meditation walk throughs like this one but none have ever worked. Until this video. I'm absolutely amazed that I was able to fall asleep to this! Last thing I remember I was listening to the sound of crashing waves and then all of a sudden my alarm went off! I was able to sleep all night! Thank you so very much for doing this!

I just played this for my 3 year old son who usually takes over an hour to fall asleep and he was out within a few minutes after the tightening of the muscles. we will be trying this again tomorrow night. Thank you!
I listen to this for the last two nights...love the soft sound of the waves very relaxing. I have never heard it in its entirety....because it works so beautifully. For those of you that it didn't work you may have to try several others. I've used different ones as I tend to like to change it up. There are many to choose from. Have a lovely day.

As a person with Borderline Personality Disorder who is going through three major life changes, I have been in a nearly constant state of fight--or-flight for days. It's nearly impossible to sleep when one is on constant alert in order to survive. Thank you for this lovely, calming relaxation meditation. I will return to it each night to guide me into peaceful sleep.
Thank you for this video. I battled depression throughout most of 2014-2015 and most nights were pretty difficult for me. To this day I still struggle with it occasionally. I have fallen asleep to this video no joke at least a hundred times in the past few years and it has helped me a lot. I apologize that I'm just now getting around to leaving a comment. I see a lot of people posting about 'my insomnia', A lot of people say 'my depression' and 'my anxiety' too. I have experienced all 3 countless times so i get it but i just want you to question something. Lets say anxiety.. you can experience anxiety a lot - maybe to the point your external life is being effected on a daily basis but once you then identify with 'having an anxiety disorder' it will become worse. You do not have anxiety, you can only experience it. Even if you experience insomnia every single night you do not have it- you dont own or possess it. Just notice. Things externally might be going shit but just be the witness of it and dont beat yourself up too much even if you 1 step forward 10 steps back. Things will improve when you dont give so much power to these ideas - 'disorders' and of course power to your thoughts. I speak from a lot of experience, i used to go through the cycles of depression for years and years until it gradually, truly made sense If you have come to this page you clearly love yourself enough to give yourself a rest from 'yourself' so congrats Keep on and carry on :)

I wanna cry saying how grateful I am. Night 2, I can’t wait. It’s perfect, everything you say, I feel like I’m not drifting off and you say something like if you’re feeling like you’re thinking too much it’s normal, then I relax a little more, then I didn’t remember after a few other things you said except feeling sitting in that shaded chair, listening to the ocean, feeling the warm air on me, the sand in my toes as I totally relaxed listening to the ocean... and that was it. I am still coming back to these videos years later as they always manage to make me drift off - this is an experience I never want to let go of. The complete power this has to help create an imaginary world all inside my head is astounding. I just can’t imagine anything better to listen to. Was having a massive panic attack that seemed to last all day yesterday, medications weren't enough for me to be able to sleep... just to lie there and grit my teeth, holding myself, and wait for sleep to just magically fall upon me. I've suffered with insomnia and night terrors for over 14 years. These kinds of things have worked for me in the past, but I haven't actively sought out a sleep or relaxation mediation in a long time, content to just suffer silently in the darkness as if I deserve all the pain and anguish it causes me. Recently I've only come to start to understand that I don't deserve to punish myself by not trying new methods, I do deserve to sleep and sleep peacefully. So, I tried this last night and all I can say is that all I remember is the crashing of the waves.... I was out before it was over. Thank you for creating a successful meditation for people like myself.

We, too have been through long, dark times of panic attacks, both in the day and before sleep, and there was nothing back then, that could help save prescription meds. So at different times, but quite recently we decided to try this method, and because it helped, we decided to see if it would help others. Take care of yourself, and may your life continue to improve.
I've never heard this whole thing because I am asleep so fast. Sometimes the wave sounds in the beginning wake me up but I go right back to sleep. When my alarm goes off I'm always amazed because its like I was just listening to this but I feel so rested.

I listen to you guys every night. I have such a hard time getting to sleep, when I'm sleeping i can stay sleep until i have to wake up or something wakes me up, people making touch noise, but if i dont play your sruff I'm up all night. Your stuff also helps my boyfriend with his snoring not sure how but i put it on for me and a few mins later he stops so thank you for both things. The walk thoughs really helps me sleep.
This is honestly one of the best meditation tracks I've come across since I was a child. I used to have a CD that was all about underwater stories and mind/body control - sent me to sleep in minutes. This track for me, like many others by the looks of it did it too! Conked out for the whole night and woke up feeling so refreshed and rejuvenated. I have bad anxiety, and its always at its worst at night. I get panic attacks before going to sleep and recently I have been falling asleep so well just because of this video, I have never found a good relaxing sleep meditation but this is amazing and not creepy like most of the ones out there. @@meganfox9744 you're not alone. Ever since I had a really bad lung infection I have had pretty bad anxiety and panic attacks. It's been more than a month now, the panic attack are gone but anxiety is still there. Mostly in the form of shortness of breath and a lump in the throat. It is a lot better than when it started but it's just so annoying and exhausting with all the ups and downs. I hope to be 100% within a few weeks, I hope you find peace as well. What are your symptoms of anxiety? And during a panic attack, just remember to breath through your belly

Having been completely arrogant towards anxiety and stuff that that in the past ( horrible i know) I have now suffered with terrible anxiety ( karma no doubt) I had cbt therapy which worked wonders.. But problems sleeping still, however listening to you TheHonestGuys has made me enjoy going to bed and inspired me to help others as you have! Thank you!
Tried it yesterday and it worked. Like the part when the narrator asked the listener to tense the whole body and then relax soon after that part I was already feeling sleepy. Most audio would only ask us to relax and the more we are trying to relax the more tense we become. Like to try this again today.

This is actually amazing. Between PTSD and a job that starts at three AM, sleep was more scarce than two tailed dogs. When I found this the difference was unbelievable. Haven't missed a night since. Thanks guys

a lot of your listeners are teen girls.. you should make a sleep video for teens that addresses like stress with school and drama and stuff it would be very popular and help a lot of people
***** Then they shouldn't be using the internet. If vulnerable people put themselves in a situation where people can provoke them without repercussion, then that's their own fault. Cyber bullying is only a problem because kids aren't taught about the dangers of internet usage by their schools or parents. Until there is some system in place which prohibits minors from accessing places online where they can be mentally abused, then the best advice I or anyone can offer is to ignore it and report it. There was nothing rude about my statement, it was just logical.
I work as a city bus driver and have to wake up by 4am most days. Unfortunately I'm a natural night owl, so I've been trying many different sleep meditations to get to bed so I can sleep before work. This one was the best so far! Asleep in under 10 minutes and I woke up feeling incredibly refreshed and relaxed. Thanks for the great vid!

Thank you for this video. I battled depression throughout most of 2014-2015 and most nights were pretty difficult for me. To this day I still struggle with it occasionally. I see a lot of people posting about 'my insomnia', A lot of people say 'my depression' and 'my anxiety' too. I have experienced all 3 countless times so i get it but i just want you to question something. Lets say anxiety.. you can experience anxiety a lot - maybe to the point your external life is being effected on a daily basis but once you then identify with 'having an anxiety disorder' it will become worse. You do not have anxiety, you can only experience it. Even if you experience insomnia every single night you do not have it- you dont own or possess it.
Just notice. Things externally might be going shit but just be the witness of it and dont beat yourself up too much even if you 1 step forward 10 steps back. Things will improve when you dont give so much power to these ideas - 'disorders' and of course power to your thoughts.
I speak from a lot of experience, i used to go through the cycles of depression for years and years until it gradually, truly made sense
If you have come to this page you clearly love yourself enough to give yourself a rest from 'yourself' so congrats

It’s perfect, everything you say, I feel like I’m not drifting off and you say something like if you’re feeling like you’re thinking too much it’s normal, then I relax a little more, then I didn’t remember after a few other things you said except feeling sitting in that shaded chair, listening to the ocean, feeling the warm air on me, the sand in my toes as I totally relaxed listening to the ocean... and that was it. Was having a massive panic attack that seemed to last all day yesterday, medications weren't enough for me to be able to sleep... just to lie there and grit my teeth, holding myself, and wait for sleep to just magically fall upon me. I've suffered with insomnia and night terrors for over 14 years. These kinds of things have worked for me in the past, but I haven't actively sought out a sleep or relaxation mediation in a long time, content to just suffer silently in the darkness as if I deserve all the pain and anguish it causes me. Recently I've only come to start to understand that I don't deserve to punish myself by not trying new methods, I do deserve to sleep and sleep peacefully. So, I tried this last night and all I can say is that all I remember is the crashing of the waves.... I was out before it was over. Thank you for creating a successful meditation for people like myself.

I've never heard this whole thing because I am asleep so fast. Sometimes the wave sounds in the beginning wake me up but I go right back to sleep. When my alarm goes off I'm always amazed because its like I was just listening to this but I feel so rested.

I listen to you guys every night. I have such a hard time getting to sleep, when I'm sleeping i can stay sleep until i have to wake up or something wakes me up, people making touch noise, but if i dont play your sruff I'm up all night. Your stuff also helps my boyfriend with his snoring not sure how but i put it on for me and a few mins later he stops so thank you for both things. The walk thoughs really helps me sleep.

This is honestly one of the best meditation tracks I've come across since I was a child. I used to have a CD that was all about underwater stories and mind/body control - sent me to sleep in minutes. This track for me, like many others by the looks of it did it too! Conked out for the whole night and woke up feeling so refreshed and rejuvenated.

I have bad anxiety, and its always at its worst at night. I get panic attacks before going to sleep and recently I have been falling asleep so well just because of this video, I have never found a good relaxing sleep meditation but this is amazing and not creepy like most of the ones out there. Thank you soooo much! And would you recommend any other videos of yours that could help me fall asleep on anxious nights ??

@@meganfox9744 you're not alone. Ever since I had a really bad lung infection I have had pretty bad anxiety and panic attacks. It's been more than a month now, the panic attack are gone but anxiety is still there. Mostly in the form of shortness of breath and a lump in the throat. It is a lot better than when it started but it's just so annoying and exhausting with all the ups and downs. I hope to be 100% within a few weeks, I hope you find peace as well. What are your symptoms of anxiety? And during a panic attack, just remember to breath through your belly

Having been completely arrogant towards anxiety and stuff that that in the past ( horrible i know) I have now suffered with terrible anxiety ( karma no doubt) I had cbt therapy which worked wonders.. Tried it yesterday and it worked. Like the part when the narrator asked the listener to tense the whole body and then relax soon after that part I was already feeling sleepy. Most audio would only ask us to relax and the more we are trying to relax the more tense we become. Like to try this again today.

There was nothing rude about my statement, it was just logical.
I work as a city bus driver and have to wake up by 4am most days. Unfortunately I'm a natural night owl, so I've been trying many different sleep meditations to get to bed so I can sleep before work. This one was the best so far! Asleep in under 10 minutes and I woke up feeling incredibly refreshed and relaxed. Thanks for the great vid!
