200hp is enough for the track, the 1300whp was bad and made the car look very unpleasant to drive. If you’re not racing 600hp is overkill on the ring.

At Aremberg they are 2.5 front and 2.3/2.4 in the rear. Safe to say that they started with the necessary pressure. You can see how the tires really heat up a lot! Heavy car ...
Great driving, great video but the sound was painful BMW really f up the exhaust sound by muffling it and playing fake sound through the speakers
What a smooth lap. Tail stepped out once and you noticed the tail happiness and adapted the driving to it. Very few corrections, just so smooth!
Do you feel more comfortable in the F80 than the G80 M3 on the track?
Couldn't watch more than a couple of minutes because it just sounds so bad, so synthetic like a an old computer game sound effect.

Jesus it seemed to lose 40% power halfway through especially up hill heat soak is real 😳 and that gear change noise oh dear, still very nice car not sure if new m3/4 is track ready, more like the old M5.
Temp readout is in the bottom right, it didn’t get heat soaked, Misha was short shifting and the up hill is more of an up mountain, it’s extremely steep.

M3s were always track capable wym especially the new one being faster with better engine and transmission, I speak from ownership? M5s were never meant for the track you got the two mixed up bud M3s were made specifically for track purposes lmao 😂 M5 was a family car with a lot of horsepower 😂

Great drive. Great car. Aside from the known issues like you said just yet. Seems like the ideal car, stock, or not, also for the non-expert. Like it.
Are these videos filmed in 60Hz? If not I would be interested in the value. I'm sure it has been mentioned sometime in the past but can't remember for sure... When watching the videos lately, I've been noticing slight stuttering, especially with the dynamic nature of the videos at the Ring. I would much prefer 1440p@60Hz than 4k@24-25Hz for instance. Just my personal opinion. That being said, the videos are great :)
I fully agree, but I believe that he prefers 30fps for better picture quality since you need more light for 60fps. I doubt it's much of a problem on the ring with many sunny days and I would love to see at least one video shot in 60fps and see what people prefer

Would you say the xdrive is faster than the rwd version on the track? And if so does the rwd have potential to be just as good if not better? Asking because looking to purchase one but stuck between awd and rwd

Hey Misha, out of curiosity, what's the fastest lap you've ever been able to set on the Nordschleife? Watching you drive it always seems ridiculously fast, so I imagine the lap times reflect that 😄
Misha drive fast and safe. If you want speed, then check out Misha's colleague Tim Morley. He drives crazy fast.
lap timing is only allowed during track days and not during tourist drives (as seen in this video) and misha usually does not drive during track days (at least from what we see). Also misha drives very safe with plenty of margarine for mishaps, so his lap times would be fast, but not anything crazy.

When I stay at APEX next time and we meet again you have to explain advantage of left-foot braking in cars with automatic gearbox/DSG. 🤔
It’s so you don’t lift your foot off the accelerator to brake. Once you get used to it you gain slightly more control of acceleration & deceleration.
So you can brake while giving it gas to blast out of a corner and so you don’t lose time moving your foot over

@@FullyLooted no, that’s called overlap. The only reason is so that there is as little gap between the transition of throttle to brakes and vice Versa as possible
@@napalmhotdog4365 you can brake while hitting the throttle. That is how Michael Schumacher was able to win so many championships back when he was younger. It keeps the revs high especially in a turbo car

When compensating for a TORQUE CONVERER (wtf!) and too much wight, +600 is too little. At the same time +600 is too much as it will shorten the life expectancy of the chassi components.
