When covid shut down the auto production lines and dealerships couldn't get vehicles, many of them went from being business men to being crooks. A business man chooses to keep his customers and his reputation is more important than money, a crook chooses to grab as much money as he can and run.
First chance I had to dump the pump, I took it and that was seven years ago. The last straw for me was seeing that rats were interested in setting up Home in the hot engine bay. We can now keep Cold meats and dairy items in the front trunk for driving home and not worry about it overheating. Lol
You are right the system is broken customers are more victimized. As dealerships get bigger and bigger the service and willingness to work in the best interest of the customer has gone to the wayside. Not just the automotive industry but others as well like agricultural or even medical. Look at how the buying experience has changed most dealers come at you with what can you afford vs how much money they can save you. I have had some very good experiences with problems and some not so good. One good one was my 2008 Super Duty Diesel which I still have got a hole in the radiator and had never been wrecked or hit or off road the dealership said it wasn't part of the warranty because it wasn't part of the powertrain yet it was undriveable I argued with them and they ended up fixing it at a much lower price. One bad one was my wife had a tire blow out on her brand new Tahoe the dealership "didn't sell tires and didn't have any" the the cocky Kid SOB basically said it wasn't his problem and I said isn't it your name on the sign out front seems to me you'd want to make it right with me then take it up with Chevy or the tire company. He didn't get it and I never went back for anything nor will I. I imagine they will go out of business or be bought out soon. On the agricultural side I have been blessed with some very good dealerships who have always tried to their best to make things right. Sorry for the long comment Great Video!
Dodge trucks are made of parts from many different suppliers, and they are made in Mexico where Dodge shipped truck production. I don’t know if any of this applies to poor quality, but It doesn’t help. Poor customer service is a major problem in almost every sector of the US service industry. You are correct in saying that the system is broken.

Well done Nate
Yes, I do. I don't think a 40,000 Miles tire should last 10,000 miles. Here's the catch, it's always prorated in the tire industry. So, if the tire was $100 and only made it 25%... you'd receive $75. But the gas tank going bad in 4 years? Dodge is doomed, too. Everyone in the supply chain will get Netflixed like BlockBuster Video.
Dodge dealership should be going out of business pretty soon, but I doubt it my sister-in-law with bad credit went to the Dodge dealer to purchase a used vehicle for $17,000 payment was going to be around 5 something but they just sold her a brand new 2024 jeep gladiator Willys $46k with a payment of $820 pretty surprise with that Credit got a brand new vehicle they just gave it to her like nothing she told me they sold that day for other jeeps and three horns and five Dodge rams Dodgers, giving out vehicles, even with people with that my sister-in-law with bad Credit got a 8.8 APR lol was crazy I need to go now
@@ChuckyCasillas ive always liked jeeps. They aren't practical or efficient. But they are fun! I had an 87 wrangler and a sweet fiberglass cj-7 3-spd. I never should have sold it.

Dealerships are a huge scam. When there are laws protecting them from the actual car companies, then you know they are a scam. Idk about a Tesla though. Remember that their value goes down about 50% in 2 years. That's insane. Insurance is way higher because say you get rear-ended and those batteries get pinched, they will total the car because the repair will be way more than the value of the car. A lot more to think about than just it's a better driver than you are.
@CoffeeAndPaul Most fires are caused by poor charger installations. Plus, more garage fires occur from combustible gasoline than batteries. People like to use outlier EV news as the rule instead of the exception. One new story is anecdotal. It fuels confirmation bias.
@jonboy2569 Listen, not one person made a difference in BlockBuster Video's fall. It was everyone. Death by a thousand cuts. Remember this video in 10 years. will you, Jon Boy?
Before you go out and buy a Tesla, I want you to see how much one of them motors is to pay for repairs and the battery pack before you make your decision. Thank you.
Doesn't matter. It will continue to get cheaper and cheaper and cheaper. Traditional automotive companies will have to keep increasing prices as they lose market share. Just like those poor folks that stay in the state of california. When states have a negative growth rate.... they will punish the people who stay behind to make up for lost tax revenue.
I don't understand. You are going to make your employee pay full price for the repair because you were needing content for a video? So instead of getting her a discount she is now in debt to you more because you wanted a video. Seems counterproductive if you really were trying to help her out.
@ralphjessee2688 buddy, you have no idea. When you've been where I've been - you are not playing the same game as everyone else. You see the world completely different. I'll talk about it in depth at some point. It puts things in perspective for folks who see the surface and think they have it all figured out. It will be in my book, for sure.
