Oof this is probably the most annoying to paint model I've worked on in a long time, which is a shame because I was so hyped for him, and especially for how easy he is at first glance. The inside of the robes and skin are driving me insane. You have done a great job and made it look super easy!

How do you know which colors you want to use on a model, or when to use Lahmian Medium, for example?

Do you have some tips with priming White Scar and Grey Seer? I get sometimes these "gritty" finishes with the pray cans. :/
I had the same effect when i restarted painting with my first can of armypainter grey. I got a 40€ airbrush and use my normal paints with some medium and it works so much better.
You can use the brush to really set the right angle from where you want the "lighting" to fall.
And for gormayne i recommend to paint the wig, the front coat plus face and the book seperate from the body first and then assemble after you got the skin tones right
