How can I register an account
Hello. I have been watching the Ghana stock market for years now. I think there's more work to be done. Currently, less than 50 companies are on the stock market. Most importantly the share prices don't really change. ALWAYS NO CHANGE! So then how is the shareholder value maximized?
The market has been slow for about 3 years but this was due to the banking crisis and the pandemic. Most analysts expect prices to pick up this year. The Ghana Stock Exchange is already up 12% this year so it's a great place to find stocks at attractive prices.
Totally Agree with Anny. The stock performance on the GSE is so poor. ETI, EGH, MTN, FML...many many years of underperformance 😢😢. The company leadership has no true understanding of the relationship between the Stock Listing and the fundamentals of the company. It's an unfortunate financial climate in Ghana...
@@benonicommodore4002 Stocks have started picking up. The Ghana Stock Exchange is up over 40% this year. Great place to find companies at attractive prices
The value is not just the stock price but also the dividend. If the price isn't changing, then it provides more time to buy even more stock increasing your dividend.

@@frimponggilbertduah5584 You can invest in mutual funds, bonds, treasury bills, stocks and real estate in Ghana. The right kind of investment will depend on your goals, risk tolerance, time horizon etc.

You need a Ghanaian bank account but you can create the account with a the bank details of the broker you use
How will I know that I have been paid a dividend, since I am outside of Ghana?
Through bank alerts. If you create your brokerage account with the bank account details of the broker, the broker will send you a message when dividends are paid
Pls is there any trading app on Ghana you can recommend, pretty much of all the broker apps out there don’t accept banking details from Ghana
there are no apps that allow you to trade stocks of companies on the Ghana Stock Exchange

The board of directors of a company decide on the dividend to pay shareholders. They can decide on any number but their decisions are often in the interest of shareholders
How do we know a company is selling its shares ?
Most IPOs have press releases so you can find out through traditional media outlets or through your broker. If it is not a first time issue, you can buy shares of companies listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
