This isn't a "cover"; I don't feel that the term does this justice. This is an additive expression of Lorn's work that not only does the original piece justice but departs from it in a way that is worthy of Lorn's artistic vision. I adore the passion in this. Sensational.

"worthy of Lorn's artistic vision." This was (good, but) not on par with Lorn's fantastic song. This was over produced. It was lacking in any originality. Or original "voice". It's nothing that every other 'metal cover's channel out their couldn't make (their all quite talented, this guy is NO different).

Lorn's Acid Rain is death meeting entropy, Artificial Fear's rendition is death and having to face your sins. It's powerful shaking you to the core but still hits that eerie mournful tone .

You know, I made a comment before that I regret. I said I liked everything about this except for the vocals, and upon listening to this over and over, I have reversed that position. The vocals are cool too. Everything about this is amazing. When I first stumbled upon this Lorn piece a few years ago, I knew I had found something truly special. The fact that this is still gaining in popularity proves how timeless and relevant it is.

There is a contrast between light and dark. As separate as the 2 are, they cannot exist without one another. This cover exemplifies that. The opening notes speak of a foreboding, but as the tune progresses the lead soars beautifully in the 2 solos at the end. A fantastic rendition.

Ooo yes please do 'Anvil' next please (another good song by Lorn). I'm trying to discover more about this artist as I'm relatively new to his/her music so I don't know anything about them yet really... (but lets just say I am extremely intrigued/fascinated by what I've heard so far and I definitely would like to find more songs like this - if anyone knows of any?). 'Acid Rain' is a kind of creepy/eerie song and the video (omg terrifying but awesome!) it's a very thought-provoking, eerie, dream-like, different (but in a good way)... I dunno there's something about it... that's strangely inexplicable, incredibly deep and an untangible feeling of unease and discomfort...it's utterly impossible to explain/describe. But anyway... yeah I really love this song and your metal version really done it justice, thank you! The extra parts you added to it were all sooo top-notch - the acoustic guitar part, the superb guitar solo, every thing was just mmmwaaah! - well done (oh and you just earned yourself another subscriber!).
