- I bought this 3DR Solo drone a long time ago from a friend that didn't want it anymore. I waited a long time to fly it because I didn't have the Gopro to attach. This day ended up being a great day despite the unfortunate event! I hope you all enjoy my first time flying a drone!

Nice video Parcero, fellow Colombian American from NY here! I have the same drone and a Skydio 2. The 3DR is a keeper for life. Take care of that baby, there's a bunch of modifies online, even one I just saw of getting an aftermarket gimbal and using a gopro 7. This drone is so underrated.
Un saludo parzerito! gracias por el comment. Bro I had to stop using it, my gpro would lose connection after 30 FT lol... and the 3dr Solo app is gone. I didn't wanna pay for the other 3rd party app. I upgraded to the DJI Mavic Air 2. I AM AMAZED with it bro. No regrets at all.. simple, compact, small, 4K, gimble.. etc! Voy a grabar un review pronto para ponerlo!

The Solo is a beast of a drone. Lots of mass and well made, but battery life kind of sucks.
I get about 11 minutes of flight time going slow and easy.
It's damn scary hovering at eye level and performs like a champ...Mike Tyson style. : )
Thanks Bob for your comment! Yes the battery problem was deffinetly an issue for me which is why I upgraded to another drone.
Hey I need some help. How can I use my GoPro hero 7 with this drone? Then how can I raise the ceiling limit? I’m using the solo app if that helps
Hey Keith! I don't know if its even worth the headache brother, I upgraded to the new Mavic Air 2 and its the best decision I've made. :)
The Solo was specific to GoPro 3/4 only.
Wow.... Did you guys just get here from Bangladesh or something? If you'd have waited longer, you could have gotten this SOLO from the Tax Payers currency being just given away.
Hello!! I have a 3dr solo and I can't fly it; What mobile device and app did you use to fly your 3dr alone? Did you make any modifications to the dronn in order to fly it?
Hey Cristian! I was flying it Blindly in this video. The GoPro Loses connection after 10ft and I was just imagining what I wanted to capture and i was able to make it work. But I totally recommend you getting rid of that drone and upgrading to a DJI. Simple, portable and easy to use.
Hey Cristian . The Solo app is still working but your best bet is to purchase the Solex app for 3dr Solo . I think I paid like $30. for it 3 years ago and it still works excellent , best connection and modes and I'm using android phone and tablet . I hope this helps !
@@Dman52Drones I got side pilot to work but it took time finding the updates for the hardware.
I use the Solex app with my android phone. Hope this works for you brother !

I was using the Gopro app at the moment. It disconnects after certain feet and after that I was just flying it blindly. I was just using gaming psychology and knowing the controls and imagine what you're shooting as if you were watching. Now days there is the third-party app called Side Pilot and its $13 on the app store.

Hey Adel! No the 3DR solo app got discontinued. There is a new version which is a third-party app called Side Pilot and its $13 on the app store.
Solex is the app you want for the 3dr Solo my friend !
