It sure was green down in there! Beautiful! I was surprised to see the pines there. I heard about you from Brett Vaughn and already happy with your videos. Thanks for entertaining us.
Hi! Great episode, as usual. If you haven't already, you need to read "Hidden Treasures of the Black Range, The Real Story of the Lost Adams Digging" by Marshall Buell. It makes a very good case for the Diggings actually being in the area of Hermosa, in the eastern Black Range. The confusion led from Adam's map showing a peak in Arizona being mistaken for Cooke's Peak. It might still be available at the Silver City Museum bookstore. Also, I believe the outlaw gang was led by Blackjack Ketchem, not Christian. Great story about the plane crash! You are a very good videographer, if that is the right term...
@@dr.maturin4648 I just recently heard of that book but haven’t got to read it yet. I wanted to buy it locally but the Hillsboro museum and the silver city museum were sold out. I’ll just order it off Amazon. It sounds like a good one.
Great episode! Can’t wait for the next one!

Thanks for bringing us along. Don't see too many packers these days running a squaw hitch.
@@chalkrockranch thanks. I try and use a variety of hitches but I definitely have my go to’s.

@@jasonwallace5366 I need to make time to get over there. I don’t go that direction very often but it’s worth the trip.
