Yes, Volvo have allowance from governing bodies for the extra depth front and back 😊

First of all, I would like to congratulate everyone who contributed to VOLVO, the Number 1 in the Truck World, and thank them very much for their efforts in these Magnificent Trucks. The company I am currently working for is Scania dealer and its authorized technical service. The Truck I am currently driving, Scania R-540 series, which arrived in November 2023 and have traveled 17850 kilometers, is a wonderful truck. I have previously driven VOLVO's F-1225, FH-16/520, FH-12/420 and FH-12/460 Models, of course I have also driven all European Truck Brands.

My favorite trucks best drivers seat best fir rough roads and speed bump comfort on long hauls good steering wheel functions and smart speed reductions from.speed limit signs great to be able to set downhill max speeds and cruise control speedd from steering wheel best for safety and to save getting points on your licence love this truck. 540 bhp dual clutch i save .
And good suspension for potholed roads, cameras on passenger side good to not so keen on cameras over traditonal mirrors though bunk could be made deeper apart frim that amazing truck to drive makes long dats less tiring.

Is there heating in them to prevent ice? Can you scrape it off without leaving scratches?
I've already heard horror stories from coworkers who drive those newer mercedes trucks that have had no mirrors for a few years.
Sure I trust volvo more, but the golden rule is that it will break atleast once.

Nice, even though horsepower is limited to only 780 PS... In comparison, a Tesla Semi Truck can output up to 1500 horsepower in its most powerful version. Looking forward to Volvo Electric Semi Trucks!!!

@@SquarelyGames more aerodynamic,so more fuel efficient,more space in the cab because of the new European cab rules.It.s 24cm longer. So the XXL cab fits in this new legislation. The turbocompound engines are very fuel efficient and i know because i drive one.And it is very sleek and good looking.But most reactions here are from non truckdrivers so they don.t have any clue what they are talking about. Just commenting without any knowledge.
