Acadia frames don't sell as well as the ELDER frames. Elder logs are more expensive to buy (cheaper = elder refined planks, but buy a lot harder) --> turn those into elder frames and you get huge profits.
I tested this a lot and even including chopping my own Acadia + Elder logs. Elder logs is nice for WC run (full sentinel outfit + free teleports to the tree + 2x daily evil tree for Leprechaun bank teleport) and it's not that great.
Long story short;
Elder tree logs (buy or chop) --> refined logs --> elder frames 🙂

Hey :) No, it shouldn't be required to use the workshop. It is however required to upgrade your workshop (or they changed this since release)
