You are doing it right brother those yamahas are very reliable if you take care of them and change the fluids properly. You can expect many good years out of their bikes

Hi man ✌️ OK I also can tell you it makes a lot of sense to change the oil every 1 hour for the first 3 hours, if possible. And then go 2-3 hours for the next 2 cycles, before you begin the normal intervals. This is simply based on how quickly the oil gets black and has metal dust it in for the first 5-10 hours of operation. This a natural for a new engine btw because it has all these machined surfaces that need to become smooth before it's normalised.
