The "full name" is just the chemical name. ANY protein can be written in a similar way. Obviously it's impractical, which is why we don't write "Alanylmethionyl[...]tryptophylvalin" (which is just a random sequence with which I came up), but rather than that "AM[...]WV". A-Alanine, M-Methionine, W-Tryptophan, V-Valin. I mean you can also write any large molecule in its IUPAC form, which is technically correct, but would be equally stupid.

And it's not nearly as dangerous as F.

I strongly suspect two of my students were getting their answers from someone else who didn't understand the distinction (they were later caught cheating on exams).
