I went to Nahak's websight, their dog measuring directions alone tell me that these people are very competent in their field of expertise. No other "on line" harness sellers have such through directions. Your english is very good, I understood all your words. And your figure is nice as well. Thank you for this solid information. 🚴🏼🚴🏼🚴🏼
Thank you so much for posting this, can’t begin to tell you how helpful it was. It’s been hard for me to find good info on harness fit and you covered everything, even explaining the reasons a certain fit is good or bad. So appreciated. Your English is also really good! Thanks again.
This is a great video. We bring our Great Pyrenees mixes skijoring and we always have to get custom harnesses because they are not standard sizes. This video really helps. Thanks
OMG, sooo helpful. Thank you so much!!! Just getting into the sport and had no idea how to measure on my dog so it didn't chaff him and fit well. We've got the ground work going, he knows, whoa, leave it, gee, ha, let's go. We are ready to put it into action. Your videos are so informative!!!! Thanks again.
Thank you!!! Just bought an x cross harness, but I see now that it's probably too big as it goes in between her back leg and stomach, just like you showed!
Thank you for posting this the problem I'm having is that I'm getting a rub in the Armpit but only on the outside because I have two dogs so the harness apparently is getting pulled to one side a little and rubbing the armpit of the outside leg and I'm not sure how to correct that
@@TeamRunningHusky Sorry just the way you attach this harness to the leash. It came with a single rope with knots, if that enough to hold the dog? I noticed you may have reinforced it with another rope? Cheers
@@darrenpinard1658 no it’s just that some sizes come with just one rope, some come with 2 ropes. I think maybe the sizes-long like small-long, medium-long, large-long come with 2 ropes to differentiate them from the regular sizes (but I might be mistaken and it might be the opposite). But don’t worry, the one rope is fine. You just clip your bungee line to that rope. Always check your gear before going on a run obviously, if you see the knot is coming loose you should fix it before riding, but I’ve never had that problem with any of the harnesses we’ve had. Hope that answer your question!
What’s the best black to find bikejoring harness for my red heeled, I’m going to wait till he is 12 months, 7 at moment and in training but measurements all over the place, was thinking free motion any other suggestions, 1st timer obviously. Any feed back needed, Thanks
How will a dogs conformation influence this? Should for instance a sighthound with a more curved topline still have the harness end at the tail? And what about the X on top? This should not put pressure on the dog's back, right?
This video is very generic and I don’t have any expertise in specific breeds and conformation. Some dogs won’t fit a Xback harness and need a different shape of harness, like a split chest harness or a H back harness, or some would fit better with a half harness. I would recommend reaching out to a harness manufacturer and asking them your question, they will be better suited to answer these questions and confirm if this should fit your dog. You can even send them a photo of your dog if that helps them answer your question about conformation.

I am getting that style of harness soon. This was very helpful.
I’m glad it helped!
Thank you! Very helpful!
Great Video, ordered the right Nahak because of this. Would love to see a video about attaching the back to the lead.
Thank you, I’m glad to hear it helped! What do you mean with attaching the back to the lead?

Une excellente vidéo très complète et instructive ! Good job =)
Nahak Sports Merci! :)
Thank you. That was excellent
Glad it helped!
Really informative video! Thank you. Just wondering what brand the harnesses are? Couldn't quite catch it in the video.
We got all our gear from Nahak Sports which is a Canadian company. We have been using them for 3 years and loving our gear from this company!
@@TeamRunningHusky Thank you!
