That would be good for smaller areas, but for the 900ft driveway a box blade or land plane would be faster and easier. The saw blade needs more of a point on the end to get into the ground and might need to be thicker or more reinforcing so you don't bend it.
Thanks, I'm sure a box blade is better but this is very fast to hook up and should be better for scratching the ice. The road maintenance was just a test but it worked pretty good for patching potholes. The saw blade is actually made from 5 pieces of bimetal bandsaw blades laminated together which should be very strong. I'll show more in the video for that part how I made it. Only some funny destructive testing will tell how strong it will be...I'm sure I can come up with something😜
@wyleeamme19 In another video, I made a blade for the forks, that is what I use now for the road. I didn't know about the ratchet rake...it looks like a cool implement, but I made the Jack attachment system so I could use it with my front mounted snow blower. Even though I tested that rake on the road, I clearly explained in the video that I made it to scrape the ice and pick out the rocks to prep my lawn area ahead of finishing it. Cheers!

Hi why not just buy a Ratchet Rake for your bucket? It would be a lot easier and faster
