I remember watching Yasmin Benoit's video about reading hate comments, and one was like "if you're asexual why are you dressed like that" and she just goes "because it's hot in here and so am I, amiright?"

That`s not a slay, that`s a deflection. Why was she at a Pride Parade with an `asexual` banner with cleavage revealing bondage bustier and leather miniskirt? Looking like the `model` she claims to be? But `asexual`? Because she`s fake, with no tweets for coming to a year and a YT channel that`s flatlined.

I know too many people who can't stand their partner but stay cos "they are a good lay". I hate it so much. What happened to love and friendship with those people who date each other? Like why bother with a transactional relationship and think its a good thing? Allos confuse me but then people often do.
Nah fr. As a guy, I think it’s mostly men who feel that way, and it’s definitely bc of socialization and societal expectations of when men are “supposed” to want out of a relationship. It really sucks, especially for folks who are asexual (but not aromantic) and are male attracted. On behalf of men, I apologize lmao.
All the comments about a partner not wanting you because your ace is so stupid sorry if the only way you can be happy in a relationship is through ''that stuff'' and not a loving relationship based on friendship and trust and genuine joy is just sad.
I was taught growing up that if you don't have anything nice to say you souldn't say anything at all. I feel some of these commentators would benefit from this wisdom.

Sometimes it takes a queer atheist to explain the bible to christians but... Matthew 7:12 "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".
And that other one on how the way you treat others is how you value God.

I am, ahem, very not-ace myself. But when I was a young, single gal, I had a personal rule of (forgive the term!) not "putting out." At least one person that I can remember actually hung around just to see if he could be the one to get me to break my rule. 🙄 A couple of others just dumped me for people who would give them what they wanted physically. You're right, everyone deserves more than to be treated like a naughty toy!

I always see so many hate comments on your shorts so I'm glad you can laugh at them and make them into content
What’s so weird to me is that people will be like “save it for your future husband/wife” but when someone says they don’t plan to ever do the thing/get married/have kids then it’s suddenly a bad thing because the argument then becomes “but you gotta make babies!” (Bonus points if it’s a parent who wants grandkids)
You’d think they’d be happy that there are folks out there who choose to remain single and don’t want to do the thing. Make up your minds people! Do you want abstinence or not?
My answer to anyone saying: “but you might change your mind about kids” would be “if I change my mind I can just adopt.” But even then every cat I’ve owned has behaved like a spoiled teenager so I think I’m good. I’ll stick with the cats. Don’t need a college fund for them haha XD
Those people who hate are just makeing fun of themselfs in my opinion. And this vid kinda proves it. I love videos makeimg fun of thses people becaue it shows the holes in there logic. Also. Back in like 2022. This chanle made me realize i was nonbinary. I may only be out with my family but its good to know this is a safe place for me. Thanks for makeing these wonderfull videos!

I personally am not repulsed by seggual discussions and am offended when people assume I am just because I'm ace. (It feels infantilizing.) But to each their own. Ask the people in their life their comfort level, don't assume how they feel.
Yeah comments like "my girl puts out" are really creepy. It implies that men want sex and women have to put up with it as if women have no agency and their sexuality and sexual intensity. Plus, of course it's a horrible thing to say about an asexual person. Sounds like their partner is just really ignorant about how asexuality functions.

It’s having sex with someone. I don’t know anyone over the age of 19 or 20 who uses that term. It’s mostly used by high school boys who think every adult relationship is about having sex constantly.
