3:49 "YOU'LL ALL HAVE CHINS!" LMAO That's one great burn... until this day I've never realized all of the writers and Kenneth actually didn't have a protuberant chin lol and apparently neither did they...
Tina Fey was amazingly hilarious in this episode, the union contract requiring that the writers had to win a bet to learn the name of the sandwich place was the best plot twist of the episode.
Binging with Babish did an episode on that sandwich, they think they figured out what store they got them from for RL. but also he put together a recipe that approximates it. I need to try making it someday
when i did heroin, coke etc and lived alone i would watch my 30 rock dvds on repeat. it sucks i cant watch this show without thinking about that time in my life. cause i liked it a lot, and these characters kept me company during a really dark time
Watch the show and laugh doubly hard at how far you've come and the antics of TGIS. It may be sad at times but in time it won't be. You have to believe that. And congratulations and much continued success.
A Cleveland city block consisting of 3 bowling alleys, a liquor store and a liquor store museum was a throwaway line that left me cackling for 10 minutes. How does this show keep hiding these atomic jokes like that
The fact Liz was able to effortlessly flip the table over when Josh had to help from a few of the other writers to do so shows just how enraged she was
6:00 it's the best non words dialogue ever happened!!! It reminds me a traditional Swedish folk song, Herr Manneling, where a female bergatroll meets a young lad!!!
2:14 Liz Lemon: “where’s my Mac and cheese?!” (Angrily flips the whole table over just as everyone was about to dig into their meals) 😡💢 3:29 Liz Lemon: (angrily) “where’s my sandwich?!” 😡💢
How in all that's holy do you do a clip on "Sandwich Day" and NOT show Liz stuffing her sandwich into her mouth at the airport? All shades of wrong here. Extra chuckle for all of you.
This is phenomenal! And amidst the full-on Theatre of the Absurd, they work in a serious quote from Edmund Burke ... seemlessly and perfectly appropriately. Even Tracey knew the value of that golden nugget and tried to poach it. This is a comedic masterpiece! ~TD, Boston
Or... people can lighten TFU since it's just a joke delivered by a character that would actually fight for trans rights, as would the actress playing her.
Because real people (especially over a decade ago) aren't perfect and say things that they shouldn't. Her character is flawed. If it were set today, no, she wouldn't say that because language and understanding have evolved. But back then, it was less of an outright offensive term, and more just an inappropriate one. You can't hold decades past to today's standards. That's just ridiculous.
Tina Fey won the 2008 Emmy for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance in this episode.
Well earned!
@@tdesq.2463 yeah this was a pretty good episode
Too big to fail...
She is very talented in this show.
2008 hu? Well I'm old
Nothing in this clip is more relatable to me than "oh God, youths"
Floyd: "Lets go to that BBQ place you puked at".
Liz: "You'll have to be more specific."
LOL!
I had to pause the video cause I laughed at that joke so hard

Chin's are for suckers
On the DVD commentary Tina says to the director "huh, it really is quite a chinless bunch, huh?"
It's also a reference to Tina Fey's scar and how she got it.
As a child I laughed so much from "WHERE'S MY MAC AND CHEESE?!!!" I had to pause for like 5 minutes.
You sure had good taste as a child
Me too!
*Sound of Lutz choking*
"It's like knives!"

What am I, 12 and at my boyfriend’s frat party?
I want one of those fictional sandwiches SO badly.
It's not actually fictional, or at least, it's based on the sandwiches from Fiore's Deli in Hoboken, New Jersey
Long wait but worth it.
@@wendighoul they also only sell the sandwiches on Thursday and Saturday lmao

Hard to watch the show without craving rocks?
hope ur ok.... i use it as a comfort show too haha
The D&D reference is so accurate! In college I would play dungeons and dragons more than I should have. Liz lemon as a DM would have been hilarious
I may or may not have been writing my campaign just a few moments ago.
Lutz slowly rising into frame will never cease to make me laugh.
YOU’LL ALL HAVE CHINS! Best line ever
Ha ha, Jenna making her morning vodka with freshly squeezed oranges, such a health freak.
"WHERES MY MAC N CHEESE!"
That line should have won an Emmy too
It was pretty rude of Kenneth to quote Tracy without permission. Dude works hard to come up with those verbal gems...
My God, Tina Fey is painfully gorgeous. In addition to her spectacular wit, she has it all.
I could live with that pain😁
Liz in that red dress just became today's screen grab.
Watched this show so many times and only got “A tornado hit Detroit and put out several fires” now. Still discovering so many jokes 😂😂

a tornado hit downtown detroit, putting out several fires XD
That's a very packed block for Cleveland

maybe the fact that lorne is exec producer

YOU'LL ALL HAVE CHINS!!
😂😂😂😂
I forgot how good this show was!
Now I want a sandwich.
It's funny cause around this time they were actually going to build an Ikea in Cleveland and then it did end up falling apart haha.
2024, and we still don't have one.
The liquor store museum. 😂
Those sandwiches 🥪 are called football sandwiches in Italian families. They are usually served at weddings.

Kenneth was actually quoting Edmund Burke.
Tina looked so gorgeous
they said the sandwich shop was in brooklyn. fiores is in jersey

Ted Lasso before he got into coaching

😁😁😁😁
In addition to being so funny, Tina Fey deserves a ton of credit for playing awkward so well despite being smokin' hot.

The least believable part of this show is that Cleveland was nicer than NY.
It is very bad to steal Liz's food.

They still had chins so yes
She had to quickly eat it, as well as the foil it was wrapped in, because the lady at the airport wouldn't let her take it into the airport.
