I am 43 with oil literally dripping of my skin. This sunscreen is absolutely holy grail for me and the BEST part? It doesn’t pile under makeup and I use it as a primer ❤️
I just wanted to comment and say this is my absolute favorite sunscreen. I am very pale though and somehow this matches me perfectly. It evens my skin tone, looks so natural and doesn’t break me out! Excited to see all your other reviews! 💕
I love this sunscreen. I often wear it by itself on a day when I don't feel like putting on a full face of makeup. The tint works perfect for me. I think it's really more suited for fair skin tones.
Really not a color I recognize as human” haha Love it!
Nice to know that someone caught that!
I mustn't be human because it matches my skin perfectly 🤣
I laughed so hard at your color description😂
“This is really not a Color that I recognize as human” that’s funny cause I bought this today cause it’s the first mineral sunscreen that matches my skin tone perfectly, others are way too dark Orange or yellow on me. I guess my skin does have a gray undertone in the sense that there’s more blue in my undertone so my skin color looks less saturated (or less orange) so it makes sense this reads gray on you
I just ordered this primer
Want to share a tip for under eye puffiness (if it's fatty, probably won't work if it's allergies) using just a bit of cellulite cream directly onto these bags can make a dramatic difference over time. You just have to be sure it isn't rubbed onto the upper cheek area where you would not want to lose any fatty goodness. Beautiful either way but some simply hate dealing with this❤️
I feel like this might actually be good for people super fair like me that are basically a fitzpatrick 1. Good to know there's hope for finding a tinted sunscreen out there that might match me!
Yes, it might! If you're skin leans oily to normal, this might work for you. Also, the odd stickiness lasted all day long (I was too lazy to wash it off & do my skincare again).
I find that all the mineral sunscreens (that I have tried) dries out my skin. Even Paula Choice sunscreen for dry skin (The recovery moisturizer spf 30). The sunscreen you just tested is listed for combo to oily skin on Paulas European website. I have switched to a chemical sunscreen - La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra Spf50, it is very creamy and is formulated so it does not sting in the eyes.
Oh, no! I didn't see reference to this being for oily skin! I totally agree oily skin would be better for this one! I've tried so many La Roche-Posay - for some reason, I don't like the "feeling" - but...I don't mind their serum formula at all. It's just really hard to find. The only place I've seen it is at Target, and the last two times I went, they didn't have it. I may have to try amazon and put it in this series!
This sunscreen is a great color match on my fair skin. It’s kind of wild to see how ghostly it went on for you! I do agree that it’s drying, but if I moisturize well before it, I feel that it balances it out. Finding a good mineral sunscreen is a real struggle!
I totally agree!
I have 3 “drugstore” sunscreens: Hello Bello, Babyganics, and Equate Kids. I mix the Hello Bello (sticky, hydrating) with the Babyganics (matte) to get a satin finish. I use the Equate Kids on my eyes everyday. They’re all 100% mineral, and I like all 3 for different reasons. 🤓
That's a whole lotta mixing!
was this hard to remove at night ? Or is a cleanse or two with my foam cleanser enough to remove??
I don't remember, actually. I'll assume it wasn't difficult or I'd have remembered. I do a double cleanse most nights.
U should double cleanse really , to make sure you removed all oils and water resistant sunscreen or any other product!
This comes off fine with micellar water for me.
Also I wanted to say I haven’t noticed that it dries my skin out at all. I do have a tendency to get really dry as well. I do make sure to moisturize well before though. So funny how different things work for different people!
Very true! I believe I have a sensitivity to mineral sunscreens. Even in emollient carriers, I can feel the dryness. There are very few that don't give me that "tightening" feeling.
Thanks for the tips. Great video ♥️
Thanks for watching!
I actually really like its texture and how it leaves my skin so smooth and non sticky. However, it does dry out my skin after a few hours, even I have combination skin.
Same for me. Plus after a few days my skin starts to breakout from irritation.
it seems even your skin tone a lot! beauty finish
Yes, there's good "coverage" here, but the color doesn't suit me.
Oh, hello Casper 👻. Well it did start of looking very pale, but it did seem to settle down during those 15 min. Can't stand that tight feeling products.
I will stick to my Korean/Japanese/Australian chemical sunscreens, which I love ❤️. Stay safe and sane 🙏🏻❤️
100% agreee on Korean/Japanese susnscreens. My favs, and I will do them at the end of the series. What Aussie sunscreens do you like? If I can get one or two on Amazon I'll include them!
I didn't like this one at all, felt too drying!
Try it with a beauty blender 🙂
