Phoebe is my favorite babysitter ever. To me she IS the book. Ahem. LOL Oh! I haven't read Homer Price in decades! At least two! Azkaban really hit me in a new way this year. I finally "got" why the dementors go after Harry. I mean... Horcrux. Duh! Can you imagine me in Denny's while people are eating around me, and this guy droning on and on about animal bladders? *shudders Not a huge fan of Mrs. Jeffries. I felt like it was so manipulative. And the "poor idiot" man attitude. Sigh. Can I just say I STILL wanna slap Ava. I think The Lion Killer is one of my least favorite of the series, but I do like it. I really need to read the Secrets of Oramdale series. The Lines Between Us isn't my favorite of hers. It's not BAD... just not as great as Things We Didn't Say. I keep meaning to get the Scottish Bakehouse series. I think I'd like it. Favorite for Nov--The Brothers Karamazov. Definitely.
@ChautonaHavig every time we had a scene with Ava, I kept thinking, " Wow, Chautona knows how to write some nasty characters." Will there be a redemption story for her? Also, is there a book for the owner of Book Ends? I know someone else who read The Brothers Karamazov last month, too. Makes me consider reading it.
@@AshleasBookshelf don't know if Ava will get one or not. I always want to but it's going to take Tony walking out on her to open her eyeballs, and I hate that idea! Nasty characters... The Charlie Kingsley mysteries. Um... Ice cold Murder and Cornucopa murders or something lke that. MAN. She can write venomous characters!!!
Random Acts of Shyness sounds like something I need to add to my list!
@@Jess-pagesandgrace it is such a fun book! It works for late December/early January, too, as it takes place in the 12 days after Christmas.
