Can you do this technique on metal candle sticks?
I painted 2 candle sticks I got from Goodwill like this. They were a little pricy for goodwill $14.95 for the pair, but to be fair they were huge. They turned out so nice after the chalk paint. Well I only did a coat of brown and then the white chalk paint.
I like one coat..I have a question, I have a couple of metal candle sticks can I do this to them?
If you use chalk paint, you sure can!
OK this it so weird, I have the exact same three black candlesticks and just looked at Waverly chalk paint on Friday. Didn't purchase any yet wanted to run by my idea of painting them white with my sister, which I did yesterday! Wake up this morning and here you are! SOLD I'm doing this to mine ASAP! Lol! Hard to get answers and admire her work when she never replies to comments.
I TRY! I get messages from ALL OVER (instagram, facebook, email, etsy, here....) It gets to be overwhelming. I do try to sit down a couple days a week to go through as many pages of comments as I can. There's just never enough time in the days to DO IT ALL. But I sure do give it my best try.
Another awesome project. I'm going to have to keep my eyes open at yard sales for this type of candle holders.

I believe these were from Home Interiors way back when. You can find all kinds at the thrift store though that would work for this. I usually get at least 2 if not 3 uses out of my brushes
