It'saGundam is the reason I got back into building models. His painting video he did was what got me into building Gundam kits. I have built more than 40 kits since the start of the year.
I recall in one of your older videos you said this diorama project is taking longer than you would like. But honestly, all this time spent has definitely been well worth the effort and goes a long way for your channel. It isn't going unnoticed, it looks gorgeous and its not even finished yet. Those LED lights just pops the entire environment as well. It would only elevate your builds to a standard of professionalism unseen in any other mobile suit channels. I cannot wait to see it finished, lit and how it will be utilized in your future productions. P.S: you may want to get rid of that shaking on the top right prop haha.
IMO 3rd party MCBs is a nightmare to handle, the plastic is so hard I had to use a saw to cut it lol, a lot of incompatible parts is inevitable so prepare to do some mod and painting. On the other hand tho, its a LOT cheaper and more accessible (in my country at least). so yeah you get what you pay. nice vid mr gundam love it
There's definitely a few people out there that use those chain bases as a backdrop, but nobody else's is painted and detailed anything close to the level you went to.
The MSG cage was originally released with the MG Unicorn Gundam as the MG Unicorn Gundam with MS Cage. The price difference was 4500 vs 8100 Yen, so Bandai values the cage at 3600 Yen. Typically with shipping this comes out to be ~$36 USD. Your diorama looks great!
I just picked up the unicorn MG that came with the cage, once I get an airbrush in October I will be painting it for use. (Will be my 3rd mg unicorn...)

Wow.just wow. Your dedication is awe inspiring bud. No sarcasm. Your need to go above and beyond is the mark of a true artist.my son and I love watching your gunpla vids
I always wanted to create a hanger to show off the Gundam or whatever mech I was building. The idea was to join a bunch of Koto mechanical chain bases, and recreate the final scene with Metal Gear Rex, then just use the hanger for videos, similar to what you did.. maybe someday 🤔
Well... Well... Well... Now I see a part of the real Gundam. Pun intended... I am a longtime subscriber of your, more general channel. Through a failure of your lack of advertising, or more likely, a failure on my own, I just found your 'other' channels. I'm ancient compared to yourself, but I see a lot of myself in you. If you've read or remember any of my other comments on your videos, then you know we share many common experiences and opinions. I watched a lot of Gundam, although I was never a true fan. My Son's were the big Gundam fans. I use to watch Starblazers back in the mid-70's. It was the American version of Space battleship Yamato. I, myself, love building Star Trek, Star Wars, BSG models, etc... I've been into art since I was a little kid. I took art classes in school since 5th grade. So, I've been painting for over 40 years or so. You Sir, have skills. Truly you do. I've painted forever and I can recognize talent old friend. I don't know how long you've been at this, but rest assured you've got the touch. Ten points for recognizing that reference lol... Take care, Rob

Shaking kinda made it feel like there is a war outside of the hanger. Also i would love to see you go into grogue kits. Building statues from pop culture.
I’ve been thinking about getting a cage for an Armored Core project I’m planning. My main concern is that AC cores typically stick out much further than your average mobile suit’s torso, so the arms might not close. BTW, that backdrop is coming along amazingly.
I am very impressed with the work you've managed to do with this hanger. Even if this isn't finished, it looks really good as it is; definitely more than what most people do. I think it sucks the MS Cage isn't sold normally through retail. Maybe Bandai should make this (or something like it) a retail item like the Action Base. The MG RX-0 Unicorn Gundam HD Color Ver. + MS Cage (2010 release) was something that I would've bought. But I'm not a fan of UC series and really I think the best part of it was that MS Cage. I wouldn't be surprised if there are people out there that bought a bunch of this MG just for the MS Cage and sold the MG RX-Unicorn Gundam parts. But really, I think Bandai should sell an MS Cage for 1/144 and 1/100; kind of like how they sell Action Bases. Bandai not including decals means they're probably intending to sell water slide decals separately. I definitely think this MS Cage is intended for only using with the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam (and its variants).
@xxnike629xx The MS Cage will be useless to you since you haven't built any kits after your MG AGE-1 Normal. I wonder where is your AGE-1 Normal now...
Good review! It suck that this don't comes with transfers .... I guess Bandai will never be good to provide us with that kind of diorama pieces .... having the choice between two set pieces will never gonna push anyone to try diorama/hangar and most people don't want to bother with third party kits . Anyway your hangar is sexy as hell keep up the great work.
Reached out to nutype . I'm in the UK and need a decent supplier and free shipping on orders over a certain cost is great. And stuffs in stock unlike most uk vendors. I told them you sent me. So opened dialogue so my next kits will be from them thanks dude.
Sheeeeeeeeeeit I have this cage that came with the Unicorn Gundam. Sadly, the kit is another state at the moment. Hopefully I will finally be grabbing it up soon.
Bloody buggery Bells' I'm dealing with just being steps behind you, damn my laziness, but my man, you're doing great. Your style is pretty nice and fills in some ideas i had for my own work. Keep on keeping on.
As someone who hasn't built any gundam, is all this stuff the same scale? And is it all 1/100? I would have thought maybe 1/144 would be better since you can get all kinds of kits of trucks, vehicles, equipment that you could use with it.
I think he only uses 1/100 scale stuff for reviews, but on the topic of 1/144 stuff... I can safely say that stuff is both harder and yet easier to find for that scale depending on what you're going for. I can build a small scale city around one of my leos, but I can't get any miniature pilots to place on or around them since they're so small already.
@@XDoggStrafe Try looking at a company called North Star Models, you might find something in their lineup you can use. Or you can try Shapeways and see if anyone has uploaded anything you can use, and print that at high resolution. In that scale, should be very cheap.

Its probably "old news," but have you checked out channels like Luke Towan? Its not anything having to do with Gundam specifically, but his miniature work is just phenomenal.
@@ItsAGunpla I figured you already was aware of him, but on the off chance you weren't.. I love this sort of thing, since I cant do it.
