Can't wait to see the double-battery EGO blower but I love the STIHL BR 800C! A little pricey for my liking so I went with a BR 700 and it has similar features minus the side restart. Another great video! Cheers!
My company does commercial lawn maintenance here in Washington State. I have my crew outfitted with that exact Stihl BR800 Side Start for larger cleanup jobs and the EGO backpack blowers with 7.5 AH batteries for smaller daily lawn trimming cleanups. Both have their place. Waiting for the EGO dual battery unit to be released, we’ll likely buy them.
There's a couple videos that are only a few days old on UA-cam of the new commercial rang over in the states and they have a new blower which takes 2 batteries, super powerful.. looks epic.
One throttles back quite a bit at times in small stuff, works fine. It's nice to have the power to move big heavy stuff when needed, but it is at the price of a lot more weight.
I think you need to test the newer greenworks 80V backpack, they replaced my previous Gen with the new one after a warranty issue and it feels a lot stronger
The Stihl blows the competition away but as you said it’s a commercial unit. The ego model,isn’t far behind. I would take that chicken to the vet. Looks like it’s balls haven’t dropped yet !
580BTS/REDMAX EBZ855O Best all around blower. Echo PB-9010 moves the most air and light stuff. BR 800 some find it more comfortable. I find the valves out of adjustment and life time cost higher. BR 800 is a fuel hog. Battery stuff is for home owners with light to small clean up jobs to do. You should cover battery cost per KW/AH. Life cycle and KW/AH after 300 cycles . 10 year life cycle for home owners average ? I know petrol blower with good $20-30 tune up kit when needed and maybe fuel line changes will out last any battery.
Now if only Ego would put out a leaf vacuum mulcher. I end up having to blow my leaves to a corner of my yard with my ego and then pull out the corded leaf vacuum.
the parkside PARKSIDE 2 stroke PBLG 52 A1 52cc is the best price power blower, it costs only 120 euros and the strongest blower on the market is the husqvarna 580bts it's not stihl
The Echo PB8010 is the best of all blowers I've ever used it's an absolute beast.

I'm surprised EGO hasn't upgraded their backpack blower yet. Their last couple handhelds are WAY more powerful than the older backpack version.

Stihl is an 80cc 2 stroke making 3,300 watts. The eblowers are like 300 watts.
That br800 seems very aggressive, I like my blower to be a little slower and delicate..
