Just went from 7 plus to 12 pro max. I find the square sides much easier to grip. The round edges always felt like it would slide out of my hand.

Yup I went from I small android that I used for about a year or a bit more, the last iPhone I had was the 7 and this iPhone 12 Pro Max is a beast and I love the build quality the squared out frame and flat is perfect for me.

As someone that’s own both there’s difference for power users and photographers, the extra ram is a big one ,
honestly, they didn't rlly change anything so it is rlly disappointing to see that on the outside look. they should've taken way more time w it bc, there's no reason to try to make phone after phone if it is literally the same thing but 2 or 5 differences that the normal person would not see nor notice, and for an avarge person the iPhone 11's are just fine and perfect for an iPhone.

The iPhone 12s have a very serious problem with the MagSafe feature. Apple said it could interfere with a pacemaker's function. A smartphone that can give you a heart attack might not be that smart, after all.

Love the design of 12 pro max, wished they stayed with 6.5”, I think that is the sweetspot. But I have no iPad so for media consumption it is good. The battery life is crazy good on 12 pro max, they could have added promotion.

Actually I have a new xs max . In December of this 2021 I will buy the 11 pro max for me is the best option compared to the 12 pro max have better battery and don’t have the 5s design.

Great comparison review! And i agree with your conclusion that it is not worthwhile to upgrade from the iPhone 11 Pro Max to the iPhone 12 Pro Max.... the IPhone 11's curved edges makes it so much more comfortable to hold in the hand than the 12's hard flat sharp edges.

Well, i am using my 7+ for the last 5 years and now at the point of upgrade. Just like anyone else, i am also confused with 11 Pro Max or 12 Pro Max. Or should i just wait for 2 more months and check out 13 Pro Max. Though you have favored 11 Pro Max, 12 Pro Max has a bigger screen (which i need for my clown fingers), and better camera quality. Great video though, but please do share your advice for me.
So tired of face recognition and entering passcodes due to mask wearing. Hopefully Apple will do what Samsung did and offer a fingerprint sensor on the screen for the 13
they did something for that but you need to wear a apple watch to do that. so you can unlocked your phone even you have a mask.

She literally said she could not get used to the 12 Pro Max and how it feels like a brick and even after a month, you didn't get used to it or enjoy it. Then about a minute or two later you said the squared off edges and design of the 12 Pro Max were great and grew on you? That's completely contradictory and confusing and makes it hard for me to trust anything else you say.
I went from iphone 8 plus so the size of the 12 pro max in my hand didn't feel that much different besides being heavier.

I was surprised that you didn’t mention ProRaw on the 12 ProMax. THAT was my primary reason to upgrade. My wife now enjoys my 11 ProMax. I also thought I would hate the square edges on the 12 ProMax, but I use a simple slim case that makes it very comfortable.

I’d highly recommend the 11 pro Max if you can handle the size, I went from a XS Max to the 11 pro Max and it’s worth it for the battery life alone! If I started my day with 100% on the XS Max, I’d need to charge late afternoon(if I’m home all day), where as with the 11 pro Max, I’d easily end the day(8-9pm) and still have 60% left, and that’s with just using it through the day as normal without thinking about the battery, text, social media, UA-cam etc, and then easily another half day before I need to think About charging it, it’s easily the best battery life I’ve ever had on a phone. Cameras are amazing too, hardly any difference between this and the 12 pro Max(my wife has one)

I have both iPhones! And I love them very much! I bought the 12 Pro Max is because I love it's square sides design and it's much larger camera lens. Overall I bought it just because I like it's design.....
Well... last iPhone I had was the 7 moved on to an android low budget one at that time and finally let that go and went back to IPhone (12 pro max ) and this phone is a beast and to me at least to me it’s worth the money, to each is own respect all people’s opinions as always. I guess it all depends on what was your last phone.

I just bought a brand new 11PM yesterday when the apple store in my country had a good deal on it...another 40 dollar more than the 128gb variant of regular iPhone 12. That made me forget about the 12PM instantly considering I could save about 250 dollars lol!
Just bought my first I phone , 512 gig I phone 11 pro max , getting used to it now and love it , keep watching these comparisons about the 12 and 13 pro max compared to the 11 pro max and don’t think I’m upgrading this year until the 14 comes out , at least by then I will be used to the apple eco system

@@Dinosmash Honestly it’s just a little bit bigger but no so much from the XS Max especially if you’re use to plus and Max size Iphones than it shouldn’t feel so big! The cameras and everything is worth it on this iPhone especially if your coming from an iPhone XS Max or lower!!!

Enjoyed your video. It is really a nice one. I am using iPhone 8 Plus. Planning to upgrade to 11 prop max after seeing this video. Because it is cheaper than 12 pro max. And I prefer round shape bezels in 11 pro Max actually.
Great comparison!! Yeah prefer longer battery life but take thousands of pictures and at darker times would be nicer to see brighter than expected photos. I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max and love capturing sunsets,sunrises,rainbows, mean looking cumulonimbus clouds and other clouds. What I noticed is the orange color comes out way different? Why is this? I mean what I saw is no comparison to what was captured on the phone. Any Apps to correct this or a setting issue? It was really disappointing viewing my videos or pictures with the incorrect color display. It was rather disheartening to say the least. Well it is all about timing and have captured breathtaking colorful pics and some videos of butterflies as well. What is strange is the orange color of like a Monarch butterfly looks how it’s supposed to. So is it the type of color? A luminescent color will not show like it should? It is a awful feeling because timing is everything and very rare capturing stunning sunrises and sunsets. Pink luminescence comes out good but the ORANGE is hard to grasp. Any ideas or remedies?

Thanks for the video. I have the 12 Pro Max on the way. I have no issue with my 11 Pro Max either. Very happy with it. My son's 8plus is taking a dump so I am giving him my 11 P.M. and getting the upgrade. Not too thrilled about possible less battery life.
Funny how she say that squared shape is outdated in 2020 while every phone brand now in 2024 is squared shape😂😂😂
The square shape is absolutely UGLY and is noticeably uncomfortable to hold in the hand even for just a short while, while the curved edges on the iPhone 11 model is nicer looking and SUPER comfortable to hold in the hand and a more enjoyable user experience.

I think I would switch because for me, the experience in apps is better for Apple then Android. They are both expensive phones but if I buy the 11 you get Atleast the charger haha. The rep at store told me that the consumer likes the heavy phones because it’s gives them the impression of “quality”. And I thought, yeah right, that’s not what we want at all! We carry on phones and prefer them to be lighter weight.

Apple has simply spread out their devices over 4 years with hardly any innovation..very sad to see that..Same terrible notch. your experience is pretty much the same from iPhone X/XS....It isn't exciting anymore..The whole smartphone industry is at a plateau. I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max and bought the 12 pro Max and didn’t feel any difference from the battery, in fact some days I get more battery at the end of the day then the 11 pro Max. Really depends on what you are using. Great work

@@alizahrafique8689 there are subtle differences during day, but major differences during night photography, sensor is bigger, stabilisation for videos are better, HDR is better as well. There is way less distortion in the gran angular lenses. The grip is way better for me and the size is not noticeable from one to other. If you have money, buy the 12 pro Max, if not you will be very happy with the 11 pro Max as well

Huge difference in voice quality, data connectivity /speeds now that apple is using Qualcomm snapdragon modems again. Way more superior to those garbage intel modems.
